For some reason when I try and play Order and Chaos online it randomly force closes. This has never happened to me before when I was on Zeus. Anyone know a fix for this? I really like this rom and don't want to go back ;/ Btw I'm on 1.1.2; the newest version of the game.
I don't know about the game, but this rom has zero issues for me.

This rom is great i love this, very solid and super fast, i liked zeus too, but this is way better and who cares about hdmi for how fast this is, i'll give that up, the only question i have is where do i get to where all the themes are for this rom, but great work dman and the rest of the Collective Team, sorry if i posted in wrong spot but it won't allow me to post under the rom
This ROM is by far my favorite so far. Runs smoothly, and the design fits me perfectly. One issue I am having though is for some reason whenever I go to settings and go to set a lockscreen password the phone restarts. Any clue as to why?

Well I just started flashing roms and became addicted to it when I came across Zues I fell in love with it! No issues no nothing except one little detail that idk if I missed or what but I every time I send an sms that exceeds over 1 page I send it and it says it failed however then I flashed Revelation! Man That rom is awesome fell in love with that even more but I have the same problem still I don't know if its the rom or its something I did?

that's unusual..
KI3 modems and uckd5 are good for long text.
Supposedly UCLB3 modem fixed that also.
Try flashing a UCLB3 modem over this rom...if it doesn't work, KI3 modem
Carrier IQ
Are the different apps on the market that detect Carrier IQ having problems with the new stock 2.3.6 for Infuse?? The stock versions say they don't have Carrier IQ when you run them but with the new Revelation ROM these same apps show that it does have Carrier IQ? What is up? Is CIQ is in Revelation - how would I take it out using 7-ZIP ?? While I don't do anything illegal - based on principal I do not like things like CIQ who the govt could subpoena at anytime. If they want me to help make their network better - give me an opt out button.

I'm enjoying the ROM. My only qualm is that my ringtone and alert settings aren't being recognized; everything defaults to the Animato tone. Is there a fix for this?
EDIT: Never mind; I found out what the problem was (System Profile App) and fixed it.
I think I will try this rom out. I got to cut my teeth on something past stock rooted UCKLB3

I installed the Voodoo kernal last night for the Showcase! Working great. Quadrant score went up to over 1800 from around 900. It is nice. Any custom ROMs available yet I could try? Yeah our own forum would be good.

I welcome you guys as the more the merry just watch what can be flashed as some roms may def. brick but you may want to try the mods I created "AT YOUR OWN RISK" as they only change the boot animation and notification icons and give you a accurate battery......the software is so close I THINK it should not be much of a streach to do it but to be sure I need your framework to be possitive....Do you have option to go back to a stock phone as backups are good but NOT a fix all......DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK AND HAVE AN OUT BEFORE YOU DO IS THE MORAL HERE...Thanks

It took quite awhile to get things going as we were in the minority as MES. users you may be even worse off so hope your wait wont be as long....Also feeling like this forum may be to you as we were to the Fascinate forum waiting and watching posting here and there looking for ANYTHING we could use.

I can't help you with he stock files.. JT has a repository, of the showcase. Geekmouse also has MOST of the Showcase files backed up. So one of them would be a good place to see maybe?
I've already changed my boot up sound and image. But having on of your battery mods would be neat

I thought jt got CWM working for the Showcase. That would give you a recovery image. As for the stock files to flash in Odin, that's another story. Those have to come from someone who has them for "technical" reasons, like an in store technician. Or maybe a curious engineer who happens upon them while he was looking for something else and decided to download them as a just in case.... lol

Let me kick this off by saying I am not the most knowledgeable guy around here, and I don't have as much time to dedicate to working on ROMs as I would like, but I would like to share what I have been working on. This is just me sharing my own personal compilation/build. If you know me from the Inspire or Captivate, you might know what to expect.
This ROM is using playin4sheezy's BoneStocketeer as the base, mainly because my Beta1-6 builds had problems with no vibrate...didnt notice it because i dont use it, but it is what it is.

2.3.5 KJ7 from Rogers (bonestocketeer):
stripped, tweaked, pounded
14-toggle port by YoDerk
Stockish Kernel .1 by RomRacer
obviously no CIQ because of the KJ7 rogers base
ICS Animations
Extended Power menu
accurate battery/stock battery icon w/%
stock look
all homescreen icons/widgets removed for a clean install
language is set to American English
overall system tweaks and increased response
This rom has a very stock look to it, but is very quick. I am using stockish kernel due to too many SOD's with DaG kernel (if you dont normally have SOD issues with his kernel, go ahead and flash it)
I am not a flashy person when it comes to rom building, but i like it sleek and fast. Give it a try and see what you think. I am continuously working on my own build, but i will not release anything to you guys that i have not been thoroughly testing myself. this build has been over a week of me working on it as I found time to build/test.

it looks stock with nothing on the homescreens. it has stock battery icon with percentage....very minimal
overclocking is dependent on the kernel, not the rom. if you install Da_G's kernel, you can overclock.
try and see. you can always go back to your old rom via nandroid.....

Quick question, when I had the inspire we could just clear the caches and wipe everything and flash away, now that I've come back to Samsung do we have to return to stock (Captivate times) before flashing a new ROM? the only reason Flash to Stock was needed on the captivate was because of their horrible RFS. they have done things properly and now use an ext4 filesystem, so its not needed. just wipe and flash

our recent device list is identical.... i would be disturbed if you had an HD2 before the cappy lol i figured most people werent jumping from HTC, to Samsung, back to HTC, then back to Samsung like i have lol guess im not alone
I'll give it a go, one question I can't seem to find an answer. Is it possible to change the battery back to the regular non number/% battery. it just makes me think the battery lasts longer...... Thanks in advance!

Yes xborders rom pretty much sums that up. How ever i do not see this drawing much attention. Your post count is low. Meaning who is to say you can be trusted. Also you should have a means of posting proof of this bounty
the 2.3.6 issue with the APN switch to avoid throttling, I didn't have this problem. I was purely unthrottled over the phone APN (throttled over PTA) on 2.3.5 and 2.3.6 worked as well as the CM7 rom for 2.3.7

He can put part of the money up front into a waiting account, kind of like what you set up for the dev donation thread?
If it gets dev moving further here, then it could be a good idea. Especially if you left it open for others to donate also.
It could even get the attention of the Cyanogen MOD team?
xboarder's ROM is what I'm using as my current daily driver (for 48 hours now lol). It's not what he's looking for, but it is stable so far for me.

it doesn't work that way. ROMs are like ice cream. if you ask 1000 people to tell you which kind of ice cream you will like best, do you expect to find a comprehensive answer?

( questions belong in q&a) i suggest red sonja rom. Its the best. No issues at all. Completly stable. Only thing is no vibration.

"Your" is a possessive pronoun which indicates something that belongs to you.
i.e. Your grammar is poor.
"You're" is indeed a contraction meaning the abbreviated "you are".

I'm use TPC V3 with Da_g kernel and it's been very stable for me. Never had any problems. No bug at all. I added the 14 toggle mod. Great rom and version 4 is coming soon.

i will be back over here soon...just got to iron out the vivid stuff. much more work has to be done to get stable on that thing.

Yeah, you only don't work on us since we have stable ROM's, we can wait.
I had the Vivid, but that locked bootloader crap pissed me off, and the fact that you have to void your warranty to unlock it when Samsung lets you go all out? No thanks. I liked HTC for a week and a half, and then I was back to Samsung.
Screen was ****ing bright though.... loved it.

Why waste time writing a paragraph about how you don't want to or don't have time to help someone. I haven't tried any of the ROMs yet but from a LOT of reading I've done, the TPC (based on the Rodgers ROM without CIQ) seems the most interesting and the developer is very responsive. He seems to know what he's doing, unlike some posers here.
Some people collect baseball cards, some build model airplanes, some people flash their cell phones all day long. The latter group probably has experience with every rom that's been put out and have some insight into the various issues with all of them. Many are helpful people, however it makes a few of them better than other humans who are not worthy of their knowledge. But they enjoy telling everyone how much they know and won't tell anyone. Personally, that's usually a sign they really don't know much. I don't get it.
Favorite most stable rom? Stock No bugs, no FC'S.. no issues and I'm going on 2days 4hr and 13 min on my battery..

Agreed stock rooted has been the best for me... on the skyrocket.. though i get my flash fix on my atrix and a few other phones laying around.. my skyrocket is my daily driver..

Been runing red sonja since november. Awesome battery life. No force closes or any problems at all. Completly smooth and stable. Just no vibration. If you guys have not tried red sonja you should.

We do not care to help me, I tried different rom and I do not know, I can give the best rom modified with longer battery life? Even though at the expense of speed, wanted to know that at which lasts longer the battery. Thank you.
Instead of changing roms why not just keep the stock one and remove apps from your phone that you don't need and install setcpu. My battery is just fine on stock rom

I haven't tried all of them but just from my researching it seems that the alot of people like thaiz so far. That's until cm7 is stable than that will probably be the best. Just my two cents

Yes cm7 does have problems still. They are also still in the midst of working on it though. No 3d yet cause of the 3d framework

I haven't try much of custom ROM, but I think set CPU and juicedefender beta help me so much.
auto network setting to only 2g and set cpu min 300 at idle just do fine..
not much but better than nothing.

probably not cause it won't have 3d as @#[email protected]% LG made sure to keep their freaking 3dframework proprietary...

same.not yet not ever if lg doesn't realease the 3d framework. What they answered to me on their opensource forums is that they do not have plans to release the proprietary (they wrote that on bold) real3d framework in the near future. If you consider that near future for them is a relative term (you will get gb in the near future they said, and so they do say about ICS now) most likely it will go opensource when their real4D framework is released for the holographic timespace merging 4D optimus phone (somewhere around 2525A.D)...

Hello tripstyle is the Italian Rom, at the moment is hard to find, it was present on this site, I do not know why it was closed www.ipmart-forum.it perhaps illegal content!
To recognize it if you find somewhere, remember that power had an animation of a robotic eye.

do u happen to have kept the rom when u downloaded it so u can post it someplace? would be very interested to try it... Anything that has trip included in its name catches my eye...

I'm sorry but having bought the phone used was pre-installed, then I just changed rom, so I have no files. However, do not miss anything, it was my best as Roma.
