I just have to realize that it will delete older text message one by one on the HTC Mozart (Stock-Rom 8107).
It has a "text message storage limit" in the registry?
Is this possible and if so, where?
By time or by number of SMS?
PS: I dont mean the "SMS-Bug" or "SMS recipient limit" with my question.
Help is very welcome here. Thank you.

In my SMS inbox appear sms message that cannot be deleted or moved. Destination field contains "[no sender]" and subject contains "[no subject]"
This happen twice, at first time i had to hard reset my XDA II.
Anyone know how to delete the corrupt sms?
FYI. i'm using XDA II W2005 c_shekhar ROM revison C.

This post was from three years ago with no replies... maybe someone knows now how to do this? I'm having a similar problem with a message in my Outlook inbox of my XV6800 running WM6.
in wm6 when i went into messages/sms/inbox there would be a complete list of messages sent to me and they would be individual irrespective of where they came from.
now in wm6.1 there is a list of received messages but if i get another message from the same number it puts it inside itself and calls itself
"conversation with" so if you click on a message from 12345 it opens up loads of other messages from 12345.
when inside you can't delete individual messages but you can delete the first message in the inbox but then that deletes all messages in its sub folder.
my question is simple...can anyone advise how i can go back to using the wm6 version of messages/inbox?????
i know theres a boffin out there with the answer
Yep - take a look here and install the "Disable SMS threading" cab file

thanx dontpanic you are elevated to a god like status in my eyes.....
only upgraded the rom 4 days ago and didn't know this particular thing was called "sms threading" (thats why i couldn't do a search orb3000) i just knew it was bloody irritating..found the cab as you helpfully advised and it works tip top so i'm a happy bunny again.....(amazing how the little things bug us)
Hehe! Its the first CAB I install on a new 6.1 ROM
Simple switch ...
This is how I did it:
Goto --> start-settings
Then click on the "system" tab at bottom
Look for "Text Messaging" and select
Here you can change from "Threaded" to "Classic"

I'm not a techie, by any means. I have the HTC Tilt (8900, I think?). They keep advertising the "threaded SMS" messaging with Windows Mobile 6.1...but mine won't do it? I have the most current/recent ROM version (I did check my phone for that), but all my txt messages look like emails. How do I fix this? I want my messages threaded, but don't know how to get it. Thanks for any help!

It can be possible
Search for Advanced confing and install it, you´ll have much more options than just switching to threaded mode

In the Outlook app when you write an sms or an email you have an option called "My Text" where it's possible to save some sentences to write them when you want.
I have made a lot of sentences and I want to backup them all.
Where are they? In registry? In a file?

sorry to bother i have searched most return only how to disable threaded sms but i dont mind
i was wondering how i could change the number of messages it displays before showing the link to "older messages" as this is annoying when you have about 300 messages and need to get to about message number 120....
