Hey guys just Curious i noticed on this rom [24.02][ROM][X Series] Virtuous S4X Build2 [Sense 4.0 Android 4.0.3] that beats audio icon is in the widget menu and im running [ROM] Android Revolution HD™ 6.3.0 | ICS | High Quality & Performance | 3.30.401.101 that has beats but no icon anyone no why ?
Make sure you have it enabled (must be using default music player), if that still doesn't work, try flashing a Beats Audio mod

In Sense 4.0 Beats is System Wide & all the current beats mods won't work with Sense 4.0.

He is using ARHD 6.3.0, which is Sense 3.6...

He's asking why there is a beats icon in the widget menu compared to ARHD 6.3.0 where it's not there.
The reason is because Virtuous S4X is a Sense 4.0 ROM, and Beats is System wide in Sense 4.0.

You upgrade by flashing a ROM with Sense 3.5. Go to the ROM thread and you'll find loads of them to try.

i need to flash :
Android Revolution HD based on HTC Sensation "non-XE" HTC base
Based on 2.08.401.1 HTC test leaked ROM with HTC Sense 3.5 for HTC Sensation
to have HTC sense 3.5 ??

There are two ROMs in that thread. Sounds like you flashed 3.6.8 which the thread says is a Sense 3 ROM. You want the 4.1.8 ROM to get Sense 3.5...it is in the 3rd or 4th post. Or try one of the other ROMs that say they include 3.5

I deffently reccomend Elagancia rom. Fastest and most stable sense 3.5 ive used.
And its nicely themed

Hello, how can some senseless ROM have Beats ? I thought you had to have sense 3.5 to make it work.
Anyway, I flashed Megadroid Rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1413100) which is supposed to have it but I can't activate Beats...
I have searched numerous times. Could someone point me to a flashable Beats mod for Sense 3.0. All I have found is Sense 3.5 and ICS mods.
Flash a ROM that has Beats and Sense 3.0.

That's the whole thing. I prefer running 1.50.XXX.X HTC base builds as I find them smoother. Android Revolution HD is 1.73 based.

to get a beats mod working on the sense 3.0, just open the zip file and delete the apk files from system/app/
then flash the modded zip
I tried that with the Beats Audio XE mod, and it still gave me a boot loop.
Using ARHD 3.6.12 with stock Beats, and want to try a better version. :/

Try removing the lib and image files then and only have the files in soundimage folder.
Or just upgrade to a sense 3.5/ ICS ROM

Looking for a Sense ROM recommendation that has the following features working
- wifi-calling (w/ sms/mms send/recv over wifi)
- mobile/bluetooth/wifi/gps + navigation
- no random reboots

You should upgrade your firmware I'd you want to flash any of the ICS ROM's

Well at the moment Bluetooth is not working on ICS custom roms with Sense 4.0 so I guess you can use Sense 3.6 or you could use GB 3.5 sense rom..... please correct me if I am wrong people.

THE Best ICS ROM (In my opinion of course - Which is always right )
I want a Rom like Revolution HD but also has tweaks, like holding down the power and selecting screenshot or something. Revolution HD is like having no Rom. Lol so what Roms are like that? Stock, but with tweaks.

Every single ROM in the dev section has tweaks apart from ARHD and the latest version of InsertCoin Sense 3.6 because the dev for InsertCoin (baadnewz) no longer has a sensation so he kept the latest version stock

I know that because I compared that rom to stock deodexed and literally 4 things changed, init.post_boot.sh, added some init.d scripts which he nicked off a thread in android software and hacking section, rooted stuff like su binary, SuperSU app and build.prop
But anyway I have already made my opinion of mike1986 clear in other threads...
The fact that all "his" addons are made by other people says all that is needed to say about his ability (or inability) to dev...
In any case, just try a different ROM which does have tweaks

Depends on what you like best:
CyanogenMod - I would recommend OpenSensation or the latest CM nightly
Sense 3.6 - SmartDroid sense 3.6 ROM, my sense 3.6 ROM (DarkForest Sensation)
Stripped Sense 3.6 ROM - HyperSensation
Sense 4.0 - Team Venom ViperS, SmartDroid Daemon, InsertCoin Evolution 2.20, my sense 4 ROM (DarkForest Sense 4)
Sense/AOSP hybrid - SmartDroid Beserk
In short there's loads of ROM's for all different people and the only way you'll find out which one you like best is to flash a few different ones then decide which one to stick with
