Specifically trying to play Shadowgun and GTAIII.
I tried under honeycomb and now with ICS, but I can't get it to work.
I should be able to just plug it in and start the game and it will work right? I don't have any options in GTAIII or Shadowgun to activate or setup the xbox controller. The videos I've seen for shadowgun, the game seems to have an option that is not available in my install of the game.
If I buy a wired PS3 controller will that work.
Any help? Thanks.

Got it working, but not natively. Had to download uSB/BT Joystick control and then do a bit of messing about. Works great now on shadowgun, just wish it had worked natively so i didn't have to pay for an app.

Just wondering if any has tried to par up a PS3 controller to the Triumph using the Sixaxis Controller app on the Market? Since the Triumph has a HDMI out the combo would be great for games on the TV.
I dunno man, I have no gaming system. But there is a fully-functional accelerometer in the Triumph and a decent compass too (does that even help?) so it should be a possibility.

I have played a gripton of emu games on my triumph. I play ocarina of time using the wii+nunchuck and I also use my dualshock from time to time. Make sure if you are on stock to get the umph kernel to overclock your phone(don't overclock it too much, I usually go for 1.3-1.5) when you are using n64oid. If you're on CM7 grab isaac's kernel... I have yet to try the psx emulator... I'm going to download some psx games tommorrow and try some ps1 classics and see how that works out. Starfox however was streaming not bad actually, almost no lag, but sometimes an ocasional hiccup comes up, just pause and resume, if the screen freezes. Damn I digressed! YES PS3 CONTROLLERS (using the sixaxis app) AND THE WIIMOTE (using the wiimote controller app) ARE WORKING ON TRIUMPH!
However a while back I wanted to pair up 2 dualshocks on the n64oid but I could only pair one. Maybe by now this feature has been implented? I'm going to check this out tommorrow too.

Yes, I have also successfully paired and played a Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo, Nintendo, and PS1 games with my PS3 controller. It takes a lil while to first setup the bluetooth pairing and then mapping the controller to the specific buttons (which you may have to change for certain games to play right) but it is quite fun!
I did have trouble pairing two controllers as well. I'm curious to see if that is even possible!
Hey guys, guess what I got working? All THD games. Ill even show you how to do it.
Oh and I did not make any of this just put it together in a nice package for everyone.
Steps :
1. Follow the guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1358316 (This guys great discovery)
2. Follow the guide http://forum.mobilism.org/viewtopic.php?p=783548 (Install these great plugins, and activate the nvidia driver.
3. Free Apps:
-Galaxy on Fire 2 Thd ( http://www.megaupload.com/?d=T2PMZZQP )
4. This improves preformance for the games by a noticeable amount ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1371021 )
I can confirm this works, though you shouldn't include links to pirated non free apps.
*MrJandD has since removed the links to the pirated games I was reffering too.

The pro version (which adds ease of use, like per-app settings) is not.
Do you have to be in root mode to be playing the games with Chainfire or can you switch back to non root for the games once it is all set up.

Once it is set up I beleive you don't have to be in root.

found tegra zone, tho now when i try to dl an appp it sends me to the amazon app store.... how do i get games from tegra zone?
Zen Pinball THD doesn't work, I'm using Nvidia drivers installed and selected and it just force closes

if your not rooted and using the android market its going to foward you to the amazon store.
I recently came to know about this "Google Cloud Save" feature where the game progress is saved online and gets synced to other devices or if you format your phone.
But, I have trouble finding the games which support this feature.
How do I look for games that support this feature?

Unfortunately, Google Play doesn't tell you which games support the Google Cloud Save or which ones don't. There are games supporting Play Games but doesn't mean they have the cloud save feature. You need to check it one by one, and in case you doubt, make a Titanium Backup first.

Google Play games shows games that support play games indeed, but may be only leaderbords, achievements, and such. Doesn't mean that they support Google Saved Games and doesn't list either the ones that are compatible with that.
hi, I just tried using my logitech f310 gamepad to play some games, but it didn't work on my Zenfone Max Pro M1. The gamepad works fine on other devices (my pc and zenfone 2). And when I'm using a DS3 controller with sixaxis app (which converts it to an xinput controller), it works just fine, unlike the f310 one that's also an xinput controller by default. Anyone can help me solving this problem? Thanks in advance.

I have found a solution to the problem, we have to use Joycenter app to make it work. After configuring it, I configured ppsspp controls and the controller is working flawlessly..
I know it's strange that I'm posting this here but here's the reason:
I heard op7pro is good for emulation
I'm afraid that the solution is different for different phone so I think it's saver to post it here.
But enough f**king around, here's my problem.
So basically I'm trying to play games on my op7pro, both Android games and emulator. Like soul knight, it natively supports Xbox controller, but if u read switch pro as a Xbox, the keybindings are all f**ked up, I know that ur trying to say, "use something like octopus" but first, it features over 30000 seconds(not really) of delay for me, also things like 2k19, pubg and Minecraft can't be just played with one keybinding set, it controls differently in different situations, so octopus or similar program wouldn't work, there are modules on magisk like 1controller going for us but those are for Xbox and DS controllers, so after all of that said, I would like to have a way to remap my switch pro to something more useful and more supported say like Xbox 360 controllers, that's a lot.

I FIGURED IT OUT FINALLY! If anyone has problems with their Android not working with otg devices. Once your rooted any of arter97 kernels will make any otg controller work with no modules or anything! It's great! So excited I've been trying to figure this out for a week now. I HAVE A ONEPLUS 7 PRO RUNNING ANDROID 10 OPEN BETA 8 with arter97 kernel. Works perfectly!!!!!
