Is there a way to re-add the application menu? Normally I click on an icon that looks something like a grid of 4 squares to get to my entire list of applications. I can then drag the icons for these to one of my main screens. What do you do if this "4 square" button is gone? How do I get to my list of applications? (I can still manage my applications).

wouldn't it depend on the type of ROM your running? on CM7 I would hold down on the home screen, add "Launcher Actions", click "Open/close App Drawer".

I mistakenly replaced the "Dialer Storage" shortcut icon at the bottom that was once in the Dockbar. I search through the installed apps, but I only see "Dialer".
I could be wrong, but I believe this is the default Android dialer... Have you tried reinstalling ADW - this might bring it back...you would, of course have to uninstall ADW first.

Maybe it was jus a modified shortcut icon and it really led to the dialer app?

Try "Anycut" from the Market. It lets you create shortcuts for hidden apps.

I used Anycut and found the correct dialer icon. Thanks
Search on the market for "CreativeThemez" for awesome themes!

To get the call log shortcut
Go to home screen and long press and select custom shortcut/pick your activity/activities/dialer storage
If you dont have any sub activity as above in dialer storage do as below.
Go to home screen and long press and select custom shortcut/pick your activity/activities/phonebook/Call log
And select any icon you prefer and save it on home screen.
Then simply drag it to the bottom bar any location u prefer.

I can't seem to figure out how to remove icons and widgets from the Launcher home pages. I've tried searching this forum and the web in general, and I feel like I'm missing something obvious.
I'm running TnTLite 3.1.2.
Any suggestions?

Long press the item and then drag to the trash can on the side.
For Home Screens then you can only delete icons (or uninstall app)
If you mean the App Drawer rather than the Home Screen(s), then using Launcher Pro, you can try the following:
1) From any "Home Screen", select Menu then Preferences
2) In the Launcher Pro preferences screen, select "General Settings" (first option)
3) Select Hidden Apps
4) Select checkboxes for the App Icons you wish to hide.
Note that this doesn't uninstall / delete the app -- only hide the icon from the drawer.
I use it to hide icons for apps that I never (or very infrequently) start from the drawer.
Thank you both! I'm so used to the menu-driven Blackberry functions, it didn't occur to me to hold down my finger to see additional options.
HI. Im searching for an App that let you resize the icons from the apps menu, but....not from the home screen...i mean from the apps menu screen where all the icons exist after installation...maybe i want to increase the amount of rows or columns.

I've installed a timer app on my S3. I can find it by pressing the lower button and rotating the bezel.
Can I speed this up by adding the Timer to the list of widgets I get when I rotate the bezel to the right?
I found "add widget" at the end of this list, but "Timer" wasn't in the list offered.
Add a widget for 6 shortcuts app and put a timer on one of the shortcut. You rotate the bezel to the right and view the 6 shortcuts and press on timer shortcut -> one rotate and 1 click.
Do I have to install a new app "6 shortcuts"?
I haven't come across this before.

One of the widgets that you will have pre-installed is for 6 shortcuts. If you long press on the widget, you'll be able to edit any of the shortcuts.
Oh, I see. I have two of those 6 shortcut things in my rotate the bezel right list. I'll experiment with those. My first task will to be to find out what the one in the middle does (apart from presenting me with SEVEN items) ?

Middle is just a shortcut to the app carrousel like the dow button of the watch.
What app for countdown timer?

Chrome..is there a way to shortcut my entire bookmaks list through 1 home screen icon? Im sick of going through the dots bookmark thing everytime i want to see a new site.
I used to use Cmarks before Google blocked the Api
With Nova launcher, yes.
(Using it for DuckDuckGo; no reason it cannot be done for Chrome)

Nope.
Just like a normal single icon on home screen (for the folder inside which are the shortcuts).
You can modify the icon for the main folder icon & the inside shortcut icons as you please.
Several shortcuts can be saved this way with either horizontal card panning or vertical scroll of shortcuts; background colour & transparency adjustable.
So that's close to what I've done as a temp. A folder with shortcuts in it. Cmarks was glorious cuz it had everything in a nice tight list and syncd with Google bookmarks automatically. It was like you bookmarks bar in 1 icon. I so miss this functionality.
