No, android does not work on this hardware.
Possible never will do since there is a lack of information about the hardware and firmware.
Is the information for the hardware is enough ?
I badly need android OS in my mobile...

Buy a cheap Vouge , Polaris or kaiser on Ebay( or any used stuff site)
I bought a polaris for $60 android works perfectly

ok i got samsung focus with dev unlock still with nodo but it wont connect to device manger at all......why...just ask little but i tell ya more but for some reason it just dontwork for me....but im using mac os x with vmware fusion running vista ..so i can get all these hacks to work,,,,but help lol

Sorry mate, but if you want to run XP on your phone you'll need a high-end phone (1GHz dual core) and for your friend, sorry he can't change his OS to android because he has a Java phone, also, the memory of this phone may not be fitting for android.

I don't think there exists a Custom ROM for Windows Phone series.
You can check out in the Windows Phone 7 section.
