It works Perfectly if one really likes to watch the Nexus bootanimation continuously. That means no. Took me a couple hours to finally get a download for 111. FXP must be laughing his ass off at all the dumb Americans wasting all of their time trying to download his roms. I am attaching a basically stock CM9#111 framework-res, so if you would be kind enough to do what needs to be done I would appreciate it a bunch. One thing though, with hiapn used just once, I had data with no interuptions. And Firefox works w/o force closing. So how do we get CM theme chooser on FXP CM9????????

Yes they did. And I am sure that between Sahibunlimited (The New Doom?) and Championswimmer (The New Wolf?) they can accomplish soft buttons on CM7. Maybe start with stock gingerbread launcher or the included in CM7 ADW launcher or maybe ICS launcher free(hint, hint.) As can be seen in the screenshot using older version of ICS launcher, soft buttons are possible on CM7, just build into launcher and keep buttons always visible.
Unless you guys don't think you can do it...
And how about a real overclocked FXP kernel?

Hey,
I've uploaded this nice looking Digital Clock Widget from the Xperia Arc for you guys.
Grab the Widget here.
It's tested on WolfBreak his CyanogenMod 6.1.3 v06. (I'm a tester of his ROM)
It should work ony every 2.2 ROM.
Just report me if it works on your ROM and I will put it here in the start post.
To install it just open the .apk file with a file manager such like Astro File Manager.
Succes & Regards,
PlayGunsta
For the black and pink version take a look at this post. All credits for these 2 modified version are going to pvyParts.

- Reported to work on by other users:

Black and Pink versions
Howdy Guys,
not wanting to highjack, didn't want to start a new thread.
i made a Black and pink version of this.
tested both on my X10i (Wolfs CM 6) and my GF's Samsung Galaxy S i9000 (standard)
and i've attached them, as i dont kno how to rename the apps yet. they will "update" the one that is already installed and change the color.
Pvy.
-ALSO- PlayGunsta feel free to add to the OP, or if i'm outa line, i'll move to a new thread.

The themed ones aren't working for me on 2.1 - won't install.
Same thing happened to me when I tried to theme it....
Will someone running a 2.2 or 2.3 rom try installing my transparent themed one? I'll attach it. The worst thing that could happen is the os telling you "application not installed"...
Please let me know if it works for you. TIA
*Edit-removed the attached non-working one since there's a fixed one in the next post and people were still downloading this one...
I got application not installed on wolfs cm6 2.2
I'll have a look at the log, any chance you can attach the log of it failing on yours?

Ok thanks Pvy! It works for me now; still needs a little work though.. I had a brain fart and tried to theme it like a system apk... Did you just decompile/recompile and sign? I take no response to any damage or whatsoever happens with your phone by flashing this ROM.
How to install this ROM
First of all you have to install the base ROM, the newest base ROM at this moment is v1.0.1!
At first you have to download the zip file of the ROM
After that you extract the .tar file from the .zip
Then you turn off your phone and put it in download mode (turn on with vol down + home button)
Open ODIN and select the file as "one package" and press start
After flashing the ROM is ready for use!!
Enjoy
To install the newest version, first install v1.0.1 and then install the newest version with an update.zip through CWM. Always flash v1.0.1 first!!

AOSP stands for "Android Open Source Project". It is directly from Android. You can search google for more info, right now I am on my phone.
With this AOSP Style ROM I want to achieve a ROM which looks excactly as AOSP is. This because I like the look and performance of it.
Tomorrow I will explain as much as possible, right now I am trying to sleep

SOLVED INSTALLATION ISSUES!!! UPDATED TO V2.0!
Strolling though the market I came across a free launcher called Secret Launcher now it's not the best launcher but hey, I used its APK to clone our old 1.6 launcher which oddly enough I missed lol
Remember, I did not create this app so expect no support for the app, I just themed it from our old 1.6 launcher, the new xperia S launcher, a few icons I made (ex: folder), left a few icons from the original app because they don't do much. If there is something to do with the theme, post it here so I can fix it. Any suggestions for my next projects are also welcome.
TESTED ON CM7.2 FXP116! SHOULD WORK ON ALL ROMS!
I TRIED MAKING THIS TOTALLY NOOB PROOF!!
If you do like it please press thanks, I do appriciate it.
Theme version:2.0
Things to note:
・The app installs an icon called simple home because apparently it's supposed to be secret :S
・To hide apps go to the simple clock icon in your app drawer, long press on the clock and select "Selects hidden icons"
・To apply hidden icons long press on the clock once more and select "Hides selected icons"
・To undo hidden icons select "Redisplay all icons"
Installation:
1. Copy to SD card
2. Flash through CWM
3. Reboot
4. Enjoy!
or
2.flash through xrec
3. reboot
4. enjoy
or
1. place apk on sdcard
2. use root explorer to place in system\app
3. fix permissions
4. reboot
5. enjoy
Known bugs:
Some apps don't show on startup [Solved- Just force close from applications tab in android settings]
Things to do:
Nothing for now, maybe figure out how to rid of the dots up top ...

Well, as some people wanted I made something, nothing special, nothing that wasn't done before, but I did it in my way.
So, what you get:
rom based on stable cm 7.2.0.1 or stable cm 7.2.0.1 with int2sd support (so you'll get internal memory as big as you sd-ext partition - thanks to Proz0r)
Sony Xperia S Launcher, widget picker and Sony Weather Widgets by ra3al
Xperia Arc theme by kevin2516
some optimizations (720p video playback + some 3g and net mods + fixed blackscreen issue after a call)
gapps included
Sony Xperia Arc bootanimation
Play Store 3.8.16 (thanks to Jmcclue )
added Android Assistant app
added Adfree app
removed Rom Manager (cause it's only a pain in the ass)
removed ADW launcher (too slow...)
removed CM7 walpapers (needed space for gapps )
removed Setup Wizard and some other bloatware.
Requirements:
for stock version - fits to cm7r2 hboot (hboots with larger system partition can also be used)
for int2sd version - cm7r2 hboot ONLY
sd-ext partiition - for int2sd to work and that will be the size of your internal memory (for stock version needed only if you want to use some a2sd script)
a full wipe before install
To make it fully work and look like Xperia:
after first boot, go to theme chooser and pick Xperia theme
go to Android Assistant and kill Home MultiResolution app (home launcher to get it restarted and all icons loaded)
Wallpapers are not included!!!

I only tried it for some short time to see if it works, but for tougher usage I need your help.
I've tried installing it but I could never get it to work.
It gets stuck at the initial boot logo (not boot animation) and nothing happens.
I tried it twice full-wipe and install but it ended-up the same.

Which hboot and sd-ext do you have?
I'm guessing the user that requested the xperia alike rom will be very happy.
It's a pretty nice work. Cheers

Currently it's only cm7r2 hboot compatible (because of in2sd-s) but I'll make something stock soon.
Wow nice, I will give it a try now and will let you know how it performs on my device

I cannot get to look like the same you have posted..After selecting the Xperia theme and restarting the launcher using Android assistant, my icons has changed, but still the background stays with Nexus. Also the check boxes also doesn't look so good as its with dull background.
Any idea ??

CM7? And Ext3.
Anyways, I think it's probably something to do with the SD-Card because later on it became unusable, thanks to the CWM partitioning

Cm7 or cm7r2? Note sure if it will fit to cm7.
Get rid of that buggy recovery, go to:

And I think you'll manage to to the rest...

You lost me there. I'm not really sure, but I had CM 7.2.0.1 installed earlier, so..
Really? I never even knew there was an alternative to CWM let alone a better one. I'll give it a try, thanks.

But I didn't get what the firmware is
Is this the ICS 11.0.A.5.5 firmware? If yes, why couldn't you use JB .31 firmware... I thought it's faster heh

I just installed this and got the message "no sim card could be recognized and the phone can only be used offline, with WIFI and for emergency calls"
The ROM seems fast and stable but it's pointless without the above..
