Samsung Smartview apk.

If you have a Samsung D7000 or higher TV, the dualview function now works with the Skyrocket. IF you dont know what dualview does, it allows you to watch your tv on the phone.
The market still says it's incompatible with the SGH-I727, even when going to the market through the browser rather than the app.
This sucks I can only use it as a remote. I got the D6000 series...

Sorry about the 6000 series tv. i bought one last august and returned it mostly for this ap.
Can you post the version 3 apk of smart view? is veryy important it work on many samung devices. (dualview)
the version 3.0 and not the 3.0.1

Can somebody get the optimum TV app/apk for me.

It is a free app that just came out that streams if you're on your home network ( have to be one of their subscribers) but the official supported devices list is small.
The gs3 is one of the supported ones though. I want to side load the apk on other devices to see if it works on them.

I second this request. It says it works on the Verizon Galaxy Nexus but not the Google Galaxy Nexus...so I am guessing it is only a deal they made and not a real compatibility issue.
Update: Nevermind found a thread with it I believe going to try it now: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=34929215&postcount=1
Update2: It works on my rooted Xoom LTE (on WiFi) and on unrooted Galaxy Nexus

[Q] Sony Smart Watch - Browser?

I just ordered my first smartwatch (Sony Smart Watch) for 130 $. I have high expectation, because I believe this got a big potential.
Anyways my question is if there are any browser apps for the smart watch?
i dont know, but can you post here your impression of the smarth watch? I'd love to hear what it is
As far as I know, there currently is no working browser available for the SmartWatch. There are people out there working on it though. I found this app called SmartChrome (hxxp://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rza.liveview.SmartChrome&hl=nl) that should resemble a browser but it does not show up in the list of apps once it is installed so I guess we'll have to wait until this issue gets addressed by the developer of said app.

There is now:
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=se.vaggan.webbrowser
Web browsing is tough enough on a smartphone (I have a Note II and I still find the screen too small!). Try it on your Smartwatch and you'll really appreciate your phone! But yes as the previous poster mentioned, if you must access full websites from your 1.3" 0.016 megapixel watch, WebBrowser for SmartWatch by Vaggan is the way to go.

No more drawing or editing photos....?

I recently played with an S6 and found out that I couldn't draw on the edit option anymore. I'm not sure if they were store demo phones or not but coming from a note 4 I just wanted the ability to draw directions or highlights on a photograph like previous editions of the galaxy model.
Anyone have one that can do this?

Gear S2 connection with non-samsung phones?

Hi all,
I'm looking at buying my first smart watch and the gear s2 seems to tick all the boxes for me. However, I've come across the gear app and plugin app in the play store and the reviews are terrible, with users bringing up issues with connectivity dropouts and the like.
I just wondered on your experiences on non-samsung phones with the S2?
(I'm on Nexus 6P, non rooted, 7.1.1)
Cheers!

I have a GS2 Classic paired to a Moto Droid Turbo 2. Generally, no problems.
Occasional disconnects after upgrading to Nougat, but less than one/week.

There are few differences in features available on the watch when using Samsung phone vs other brands. I know this first hand because I switched from a LG to a Samsung. But don't take my word for it, here's a chart that highlights the differences.

Fine on xperia Z5C
All go fine on p9 lite. No issues and good connectivity.
However you can pair with all Android (4.3+) and at least 1.5GB of RAM. I read that you can pair the watch to smartphones with 1GB of RAM, but you have to modify Samsung Manager apk, see https://forum.xda-developers.com/gear-s2/help/pair-gear-s2-moto-g-t3323385.
Yes you can use it with smartphone that has 1GB of RAM, but you need to use a modified Samsung Gear app.
Modified Samsung Gear app is available on my blog, I will try to update it as frequently as possible.

First experience I connect Gear S2 to Sony Xperia Z3 compact. Connection without problem but Gear app crashed. I solve it by installing older version of Gear app from APK mirror ( app from april 2016). It have no limitation. It was probably caused by ROOT.
Next I connect it to Moto Z play. No problem at all.
using non samsung phones we lost all the paid apps, right?
That s*cks :/

App purchases are tied to your Samsung account, not the device. They only need be purchased once. Devices can be changed at will.
