Good-bye Peeps! I'm heading to the Gnex section! - HTC Sensation

Hey guys,
Just wanted to say goodbye to the Sensation community. Less people know me here but still. I'm the guy who spread the news about the Revolutionary project through Sensation-Devs if that helps you remember me hehe.
Anyway, I bought the Gnex, it'll be here with me on the 1st of March, aaaaaand my Sensation will be given to my brother... who's 5 years elder than me
See ya guys,
Love the community.

Have fun with your new phone! And urge your brother to be a part of the community

I second that, APPLAUSE to all the DEVs.
I third that!!! I still rock my G1. Granted its been stripped down apps wise and now converted to my new 'gpod' music player so I dont have to use a zune or crapple... THANKS FOR YOUR HARD WORK!
"crapple" -- best word i've heard for ages XD
Of course I had this running in my mind but I was scared thinking i was gonna post in da wrong place.....Lol
Kudos to all u Devs...

I'm suprised devs are still interested in these old devices. Thank you devs!
I think the most of us just dont have a choice
I really love my phone, I'm trying to get the most out of it. A lot of people seem very, ...uneconomical when it comes to phone upgrades. I've almost had mine for three years. I only pay $20nzd per month for my phone bill, and i'm not on a contract, so I just tossed some money to the side every month and racked up enough for a Nexus S.
I agree!
Thing is, its not just the G1 being kept alive, magics are well and truly alive and kicking due to this brilliant bunch of developers.

lol yeah, i basically have no choice like rushey said.. lol cant afford an upgrade and currently owe tmobile wayyyyyy to much money lol so ill just keep the g1 untill i hit the lottery
I can't agree more, the g1 dev community is the best it has ever been since the device has been about. Every dev currently making roms are the best since 3 years and thats a truth.

I love your idea, I am in about the similiar case. LOL!
I've been on my G2 for about a year now, but I just dug out the G1 today for a project. I'm going to use it as a development phone so that I can play around with ROM and Android stuff without having to always wipe my G2 or brick it!
So thanks again to the devs.

Just Want to say Thanks to the Developers.

the myTouch 4G was my first smartphone. I was scared to root but once the perm root came out for this device I did it and I've loved it ever since.
I've loved pretty much all of the ROMs i've used for this phone (even though I have a hatred for Sense).
I JUST made an account on XDA (I had one before, deleted it, etc.) but i've been lurking on the forums here for a while. This phone has been awesome.
BUT, I'm moving on to the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II. I'm still gonna keep my myTouch and probably still lurk around here to play with some new ROMs.
So this is basically me saying Thanks to all of the developers for this phone. you've made me actually like it lmao.
lol you do know that i made a thread just for thanks right?

Goodbye :'(

Last night my dad surprised me with a new Sensation XL. Which is great, but it means I will be saying goodbye to a great community the best on XDA... Let's hope the XL forum is just as friendly. I would like to say a special thankyou to Lowveld for helping me develop my own ROM which sadly I was never able to release. I know I've been a very insignificant part and have only been in this forum for a little while but its been great.
Best of Luck,
Zachary

Bye Zac!
It was my pleasure to answer your questions and helping out, as little as I did. It's always nice to meet inquisitive people, willing to learn and try stuff on their own!
I'm sure you'll do nicely, wherever you may go. But hey, you don't have to fall out the face of the earth (which could happen, with you living in Australia and all). Drop by once in a while!
Cheers
Thanks

To Give Thanks To All Developers

I've been a member of xda for a few years now and have never really posted anything. Just wanted to give a big THANK YOU to all developers for all you guys do. I have an HTC Thunderbolt and I can honestly say if it was not for the awesome developers that dedicate THEIR time for OUR devices my Thunderbolt would be just another phone. Again I have never posted anything so if this should be moved or whatever you guys need to do with it is fine. Otherwise I hope that others will post their thanks here as well. You guys defiantly deserve it !! Thanks again guys! cdstrings

I couldn't agree more. This is my first post at xda, so I can't post in the development forum, but I've been lurking for quite awhile. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to all of the Devs and the guys here at xda that keep this site going for the benefit of all. I have learned a ton from the Devs and the knowledgeable regulars, and while I can't pay back the regulars, I do kick the Devs some cash when I have extra. Thanks you all!

the theft of a test device from droidforums, kanging, insults/challenges to other developers, numerous reasons really. the guy fled multiple forums to escape mention/reference to his past actions.

I bought my Thunderbolt the week it was released, and for me, Team Liquid has been its saving grace. If it wasn't for the seamless fluidity of Liquid Smooth 3.2 (and now Liquid ICS), I would have shattered this thing with a hammer long ago.
I know everyone is excited about ICS (as we should all be) but I'd like to give a shout out of thanks to Workshed , developer of Thundershed 1.6, which has been super stable, super smooth, and provided me with way better battery life.

Please don't take this the wrong way... I really mean this in the nicest possible way. An edited build.prop wasn't what I was expecting when I read "sneak peak". These threads are designed to drum up excitement for the new roms. I'm not familiar with Team NOS. I like the name though. This was meant as constructive criticism not in anyway trying to insult you here. I just think it would have been more exciting had you shown more than "Sense 7" and a rom name in your pic. Good luck though... looking forward to seeing it.
Let's say that on the team is @Newt who was a great dev back on the HTC Rezound that I use to have
