thanks.

I'm fairly certain that 1.0.0 is the same thing as nightly #65 or something around that, but basically the nightlies are updated...nightly...and 1.0.0 is well, 1.0.0.

To put it another way, the 1.0.0 rom is the latest stable build, whereas the nightlies are kind of experimental and might not be as stable as expected.

Does anyone know what happened to the nightly builds? Changelogs are up to date, but the latest build is #75 from 21.02.
[edit: never mind, #77 just showed up]

CM7 Nightly build update

In case anyone wondering the build bot status. Their not restoring nightly builds until CM9 is ready. At least that is what Chris Soyars on twitter/G+ said. Although they may have another stable release.

Here you go, maybe this is want you were asking for, it adds all the latest little stuff in the changelog to a new build. All credit goes to --> baldwinguy77 and Cyanogenmod.

Beta vs Nightly

How does developers decide of there rom nightly or beta is?
Im asking because the galaxyics team released 11 roms. The first 3 where beta's. Then, one nightly came, after that, there where beta's. Rom 10&11 where beta's and rom 12 will be beta9. I dont get it, who does?

A beta would usually be tested before the release, unlike a nightly. A nightly may just be compiled with latest fixes, then released with little or no testing done.
So nightly is the beta version, with fixed bugs, thanks

Nightly might not be as stable, as it has had little to no testing.

Stable Build of official CM9 hitting the servers tonight.

Stable builds of CM 9.0.0 will begin to roll out on get.cm tonight! I imagine that our skyrockets will be included since we got the latest release candidate of CM9.

Hey, look if that is NIGHTLY then it is NOT STABLE.
Try stable releases of PAC ROM.
NIGHTLY: Contains Bugs
RC: Almost stable (rare bugs)
STABLE: (No Bugs)
Edit: See NIGHTLY contain bugs the reason it is updated (almost daily)

Paranoïd android build numbering

Hello,
I have changed my ROM a new time for Paranoïd android who is the best for me.
But I don't understand their build numbering:
- First the 3.99 without more info, thus STABLE, yes?
- After the 3.99 RC1
- And the latest 3.99 RC2
Normally it's RC1 -> RC2 -> Stable
Here it's Stable -> RC1 -> RC2
I'm sure something I miss to understand,.

RC is release candidate.
Maybe the 3.99 was the first stable confirmed by users then they launched the first RC.
