Clean Up The Development Section!

It would be extremely appreciated if the mods cleaned up the Dev section for this device. It has gotten entirely out of control. Countless threads that do not belong, and lots of posts that should've been deleted.
It's a mess!!!

We have someone assigned to this section but I think due to the amount of "new to android/modding" with this Phone we may need more than 1 .
I know it's a lot of work, I feel bad for those assigned to this section or helping out, but the dev section has just gotten out of hand

Don't you think this is a useless thread that needs to be deleted?

Thanks for moving mod.
To answer your question. It looks as though we will be getting it. Waiting on a kernel for CM, once that is done it be ported .
To help the process of MIUI please look in the general thread for Love you SGS4G,
a great dev Whitehawkx that currently helps with Miui builds for the vibrant is gonna get a sgs4g with our help. Then said he would port it over for us.

just so u know miui and cm7 do not use the same kernel there is some simalaries but they are completly diffrent.

You answered your own question. There's a Q and A section just for this sort of thing. Nobody means any disrespect, it just gets old when people don't read the rules and post whatever they want in here. The goal is to keep this subforum clean and easy to navigate so you can find the ROM threads without sifting through clutter. Don't sweat it, a mod will move this thread, just keep in mind that the development forum is for ROMs, kernels, and stuff like that only.

Could someone port this to Verizon?

This rom looks killer... Could someone port this to Verizon. I don't have the slightest idea how but the developers StrongSteve has granted permission.

Wrong section. Now that we have a dedicated forum, it shouldn't be that hard on where to decide on where to put topics. This should go in General / Q&A.
As for the ROM, all it looks like to me is that it is themed blue. Just find a blue theme or kang it off of his ROM (for your own personal use) and put it on one of our de-odexed ROMS. I haven't flashed anything custom yet, but the tweaks that ROM has are very basic and I'm sure that Synergy ROM has them included.

Future reference for responses from people that say "It is a rom and development topic so I thought it should go here." (Not bashing on you, but this is a pretty common response), if you did NOT create it, then it does NOT belong in here.

We are actually Running Jelly Bean. it is just themed to look like ICS in the build prop and everything, and Acid intentionally removed Project: Butter because it made the phone too laggy. I know, ironic right? Acid didn't want everyone to go crazy.

I think it was meant as a joke. He's not really a dev.
And yeah, there is something wrong with asking for etas. Its annoying to the devs and makes you look like you don't appreciate the time and effort the dev puts into his work

I never implied he was.
He never even asked for an ETA.
He simply asked a question.
Maybe we'd make progress if we talked about what the problem is, what we need to get it fixed, etc. Rather than just keep trolling and making useless replies.

I'm just curious to know why there isn't already a fully working jellybean rom for this phone? I'm coming from a slightly less advanced phone (LG optimus t) and there are already two users who have built a jb rom? I hope I'm not barking up the tree but what kind of problems are there with the sgs4g,are there not enough developers working for sgs or is it Samsung itself not releasing specific drivers or that sort?
