Im about to get my xoom and the first thing i want to do is root but im not sure if the rooting methods posted here are also compatible for the ones that are made in mexico can someone answer my doubt please ! and BTW post a rooting method that is easy pleasee !

quiero eliminarlo ya que no me permite actualizar mi atrix 2 al ics via ota .... necesito ayuda ya que como esta ahora no me funcionan los juegos como nova 3 shadow gun y eso juegos nisiquiera el spaider man total mayhen version del sistema: 55.28.37.mb865.pshasiaretail.en.03 version de android 2.3.6 version de banda base 2012-03-28 12:22 off.bld lud_edison_r1ep29_to_422313_001_120328_120 Ayuda no se que hacer no puedo sacarle provecho GRACIAS DE ANTEMANO

Thirt, for this u need to FXZ back to 2.3.5, then 2.3.6... and finally u'll get the OTA of SOAK Test... of course, only if u recive the "email". So look at HERE

Sorry I miss the point of the thread. I guess that u need to uninstall Atrix 2 Bootstrap (if u have installed) is the only thing that i guess that can't block the OTA update. For the games, I belive that officially doesn't support the Atrix 2 HW.
Uninstall a program u can do it from settings and applications or any software that manage apps (like Norton Utilities or Unistaller Maestro).

Primero. Estas en la sección incorrecta, necesitabas postear en Q&A.
Segundo. En esta comunidad el idioma predominante es Ingles, asi que debes de postear tus dudas en dicho idioma. Si no lo dominas puedes usar un traductor, como el de google, te hara el trabajo.
Tercero Para una instalación limpia de ICS necesitas reconfigurar el telefono haciendole FXZ a 2.3.5, despues OTA al 2.3.6 y luego a ICS si es automatico. Revisa AQUI
EDITADO: Me perdi el punto del tema, tengo entendido que el unico programa que pudiera interferir es el Atrix 2 Bootstrap, que deberias desintalar. Puedes usar software como Norton Utilities o Uninstaller Maestro para quitar cualquier programa. De los juegos que comentas, tengo entendido que oficialmente no soportal el ATRIX 2 como plataforma para correrlos.

You could use root uninstaller to remove superuser..... or root explorer to remove superuser.apk and Su /system/app/superuser remove superuser.apk then system/bin/su remove su..... hope this helps.....

I admit, the program from our Chinese friends of Kingroot.net, it works. Root is obtained, but temporarily, since restarting the phone, turns to a semi-root. Okay, it's not the most optimal if you need constant access as root, but at least you can install a remover advertising as Adaway or Adfree, modify the host system tables and reboot, independent no longer have full root , goodbye to advertising!.
I recommend it until we have a definitive solution Root.

Con la actualización de Kingroot en su versión 4.1, se puede volver a rootear el terminal y así volver a tener el root "temportal". Indagando fue la única solución que tendremos sin desbloquear el gestor de arranque :/
Les cuento algo?, probe la apk en mi c3. Los primeros días me pasaba lo mismo que a ustedes, lo apagaba, lo volvia a prender y quedaba semi root, tenía que volver a usar el Kingroot y quedaba bien... Pero desde hace 3 días que lo apago y lo prendo y queda rooteado completo, abro el kingroot para ver que me dice y me pone que esta ok, osea no necesito volver a usarlo. No me pregunten porque ni como porque lo hizo solo de un dia para el otro y ya no necesito volver a rerootearlo a cada rato... Así que funciona al 100%

puedes editar el sistema de archivos con el root explorer? o hacer cambios dentro del sistema o la carpeta System?
Si se puede. Ayer actualize a lollipop y volvi a usar kingroot, lo rooteo y ya no se hace semi root tampoco cuando lo reinicio. No se que magia hice ya de la otra vez jaja. Pero anda perfecto. Ya use lucky patcher con exito, root explorer, busybox, etc...
Estuve probando el famoso "KINGROOT" , nunca eh rooteado un Android con una APK tan sencillo, y pregunte sera cierto .... Bueno Pues estuvo viendo lo que podía hacer y unas de las cosas que probé al iniciar fue el de eliminar programas in-necesarios del dispositivos, el cual funciono correctamente eliminandolos por completo. Luego fui a probar un poco mas a dentro del root y utilice una aplicación la cual te permite conectar vía PIN (WPS) a un router , para esto la aplicación debe tener acceso al root con kernel y eh hay donde me di cuenta de que KINGROOT no root al 100% los dispositivo ó el Samsung Galaxy S4 I545 Lollipop 5.0.1 en el cual lo estuve probando.
Con esto no les quiero decir que no instalen esta aplicación, solo es para dar un poco mas de informacion sobre ella, en lo personal esa APK sacará de muchos problemas :laugh: , con ella puedo eliminar aplicaciones innecesarias!!...
