I've put this image into QMG format. I've changed the name of the file to bootsamsungloop.qmg and due to some issues with my computer, I am unable to push said file to my phone. I would like to see any Infuse owners test this out for me to see if it will work. If it does, I would very much like to know extract the .rar for the .qmg.
Edit: the qmage codec WAS used, for anyone who thinks the extension was just changed
Edit: changing the .qmg files is pointless. It changes nothing, I fixed my connection problem and I've tried with every .qmg file, these are useless.
srry bro it does not work..
i tried it bt it doesn't wrk..

I have Conflippers 10-21 ROM on my alltell touch.. So far I have not had to many issues and the problems I have had, I found the answers pretty easy either here or over @ ppcgeeks.. But these themes are killing me.. I'm sure it is something simple I am just not seeing but here I am anyway..
I have found and read through the theme threads, found some I like and downloaded the zip files. I unzip them to my pc no problem.. Here is where the problems start.. about half the time when I try to move them to my storage card through activesync I get a alert telling me it cannot convert a file.
now if it does copy over ok, I can go through the md2c and see the folder on my storage card but if I try to add it to my themes folder I get a error that says I am missing the HTChomesettings.xlm(I think) file and it will not add it?
what am I missing here.. since this does not seem to be a common issue I know it's something simple... but it is just escaping me...
P.S.. sorry for the poor grammar. I am doing this at work from my phone...
Thanks for the help.
U're absolutely missing .xml file (HTCHomeSetting). Try to use another xml file, m2dc should be working after u put .xml file on windows folder
Is there just one file for all themes or is this a file that should be included with every theme I download??
the reason I ask is a couple of the themes I have tried work just fine.. most though give me the error though..
Some of the themes has no .xml file. Just look at the clock style in the home tab. If it's similar with another themes that u ever used succesfully, simply put the .xml file in windows folder. Good luck
What file are you copying to your device? The file you copy should be some how compressed and contain the xml in the root folder.
Some of the themes I have downloaded seem to be packed into a folder and some of when you unzip it are all the file individual.... (does that make since?)
Either way I put them on my storage card and then point M2DC at the storage card a couple of them seem to work fine and some of them give me the error
Hi,
Mny of these ROMs are awesome, however, one common issue I have is that the phone sound is a littele low. To fix this, on some ROMs like RRE, I can replace the flashed AudioPara3.csv version with a "hacked" version of the AudioPara3.csv.
Apparently though for the At0M ROM, Energy ROM, I cannot change the file attributed that allow this AudioPara3.csv file to be replaced, using TC file manager, I can edit the arhs values, but NOT the IN ROM setting.
So, am I doing somehting wrong with this AudioPara3.csv file or is it possible the ROM cooks to make the AudioPara3.csv NOT in ROM so I can edit the attributes that will allow it's replacement.
Thanks,
Mike
i've used both of these roms and im still using the latter, i've had absolutely no problems copying a newer hacked file and overwriting the one inside the rom.
try my cab and see if it works for you, it includes the audioPara3 that i find comfortable using, i believe it's the original stock one.
I still think the sound in my ROM is not loud enough, anybody got a csv file that's REAAAALLLY loud ? I want it to blow my ear off....

here you go, my collection(I did not create the files )
3 folders named by volume level.
I always use the loudest+distortion and turn down the volume.
notice it's a RAR, just remove the ".cab" ending
help
ok so i got the htc touch pro and the preset callvolume is way too low unless i turn on speakephone....I have downloaded the audiopara3 file and unzipped it...how do i get it to my phone? do I just drag it to my mobile device
copy it into the Windows folder on your phone and it will overwrite the existing one. You can always copy the existing one into another folder in case you wanna go back
You can catch mine i think it's the best one

when i replace audiopara3 there is no effect can someone please help me
I cannot copy the new audiopara3 file to my Fuze because the old file on the Fuze is read only and will not allow the new file to overwrite it. Any suggestions?
How do I install an RAR file?

You don't take .cab off the end so it will be volume.rar unzip it now you have the files you need and follow directions above to overwrite.

I know I'm necro-posting here; but I can live with that
Your AudioPara3 was the only one that really worked on my Fuze. Thanks very much.
I've tried renaming a zip, but I must be doing something wrong cause the .dat appears in the name only, not the file extension. The point of this is to change pics in MS 3.5.1.....and in there the bmp files are named bmp+
And when I try it wont let me add the + sign....
can anyone help ??
THANKS
P.S. I'm using ALZip, maybe thats my problem......?
ive paired and it looks good but when i try to send a file it always says fail at the end..

are you talking Bluetooth?
my understanding is file transfer via BT is not possible in stock. For the G1 developers like cyanogen have come up with apps for that which work, and i expect in his first custom ROM for Nexus One it will be included.
i can transfer certain file types from my laptop to my not-yet-rooted-N1, e.g., *.png, *.mp3. for other file types that generate an error message, my workaround is to add the file extension ".png" to the file so it gets transferred to my and then from the N1 remove the .png extension. all files are stored on the sdcard in a folder called Bluetoooth.
Thanks Cortez.
It works.
i switched roms acouple times today and this has happened one other time.
All my video files not the folders or subtitles or anything just the video files themselves have been deleted.
Using brilliant corners and bottle o smoke and bam they are gone...
all you have to do is make a no media file. basically make a new text doc on your computer and just save it as ".nomedia" You do not have to write anything in the file. This will tell the tablet not to delete any files out of this folder. put this file in every folder that has media items. I hope this helps.
Hmmm...I've never had that happen to me, but thanks for the tip fosser2
It's a known issue and easily fixed with the .nomedia file. Beware though that windows won't let you create such a file. I think most android file managers will allow you to create a file and rename it ".nomedia".

You can easily make this file form windows. Right-click on any explorer window and choose New>Text file. Then just rename it to .nomedia instead of NewTextDocument.txt or whatever the default is.
Scratch that. Windows says "type a file name" or something. Just use notepad++ as someone else mentioned...
