where are the downloads? - Samsung Infuse 4G

Ive realized that i need a new kernal... how do i get these kernals if i cannot use multi or megaupload? can someone post me some links on where to get theses kernals?

The links for Infusion work for me at least the coreA2 which is probably the one you want.

Just trying to clarify

I've searched around, but have yet to find a definitive answer. Can I run ANY i9000 rom on the captivate as long as I use a reorient kernal, such as Setiron's?
run, yes, flawlessly, maybe, won't know until you try it.
That was the intended purpose of the reorient kernels from Xcaliberinhand. Setiron has simply extended Xcaliber's kernel with the tweaks and lagfixes of some of the other i9000 kernels.

Right on. I've been running Tayu's Lite with setirons for the last few weeks. I didn't use the rom supplied in the Dev section, though. I pieced it together separately. This is by far the best setup I have used yet, but after using the cogs previously, i became a flash junkie and want to try something else out.
I am also using Tayutama's rom but I will be trying out cognition once true source code has been released allowing proper kernels and tweaks to be done. I imagine cog will come back with a vengeance after the true update and source are released. Happy flashing.
Can I simply flash a new kernel on top of my ROM? For instance, can I flash SetrioN 1.3.3 if I'm currently runiing 1.2? Just put in in Odin under Phone? PDA?
Still learning here.

If you've made adjustments to you OC/UV, you need to reset those to default. After that, you can just flash the new one right on top using CWM rec.
Thanks. I haven't messed with those settings.
Props to both of you for asking your questions in general. Remember to use a good descriptive subject in the future though.

overclock you nexus s (miui rom)!

this link takes you to a site where they show you how to put the miui rom on your nexus s and how to overclock it to 1.4ghz

2.3.4 how to crack the original recovery? / System / bin can not find the recovery file
read the development forum and search. everything you need to know is there.
for 2.3.4 recovery you need to flash a modified kernel.
There's no CM7 for our phones available.
If you want to get on a 2.3.4 ROM, there's Audiophile FTW, Valhalla and ICBINB.
You can follow my guide to prepare your phone before flashing any of those ROMs.

You'll have to do the reading and research but to reiterate what was said: no cm7 for the sgs4g yet -you might read that it can work in the non4g models but be aware its also said those versions aren't compatible worth our phones. There are some good roms though. I use drhonk kg4 kernel, icbinb kh2 and the tweaks by dsexton. 2700 quadrant scores without oc, 3400 at 1.3ghz. The phone is excellent. Fast, sleek, and it works.

Available in China, GSM and WCDMA networks, I brush the CWM kernel yesterday, from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1194032, there is no stable ROM? Thank you.
Mr Jon,
now that you have modified recovery, you can flash any cwm gingerbread rom from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1117554
though I wouldn't flash a KF rom, as those were early releases. try a KG or KH rom (KH are the newest).

[Q] MIUI - Custom Overclock Kernels which work on it

Hi does anyone have a list or link of kernels that is compatible with MIUI ROM.... because so many of those kernels I have read on the NEXUS S forums are for CM7 but im not sure if it works for MIUI.....
There are a few you can try, look at brainmasters MIUI thread on the second post, they will definitely work. Other kernels will probably work too though since most have been built with Koush's any kernel script.
Sent from the future to put right what once went wrong.

[Q] any way to flash a different rom while keeping your current kernel?

some help would be appreciated! or how can i back up my kernel to update.zip? i tried sgs kernel flasher but it is incompatible
Easiest way I would think is to just flash that kernel again right afterwards. Kernels are generic, so none of your personal data is stored on them.
lets say i dont have it now what?
It's not a kernel that you can download from here..?
sadly no
Look in the Dev then sticky then all in one thread you'll find all the kernel's custom and stock I have all them download from there.
Sent from my SGH-I727 using xda premium
unless that kernel was custom made for u by a Dev then its here. If u or someone u know compiled it u wouldn't be asking the question lol. u can back up the kernel using advanced and then flash back after rom install
