I have been trying both Virtuous Quattro and CM9 and one of the cool features I have noticed with the launchers on these platforms is that when my wallpaper auto changes it zooms the new paper in rather than just a normal change.
Does anyone know if this can be replicated in Reaper V2.1 using either ADW launcher EX or Go Launcher?

has anyone tried the launcher livehome it is pretty cool and has a lot of features like transitions from screen to screen and you can even change icons. I don't know how stable it is since I only used it for like two seconds but i was curious if anyone else is using it?
Tried it out on my wifes hero and it just wasn't that great launcher pro worked better

It probably isn't nearly as good as LauncherPro.
i could see myself leaving launcher pro for this if it had the animation zoom from center effect when launching an app. By that time there should be more settings choices too. Also, LP has widgets, so maybe after liveHome gets some widgets too.
Until then, my 2.99 for launcher pro plus remains a top investment under $3
Neat transitions between screens but i hate themed home screens....launcherpro you can customize without themes.

It has potential. I'll stick to LauncherPro Plus for now, but keep it installed so I can see when it gets updated.
As stated in the title I found a interesting Launcher today browsing through the market, heres a link
https://market.android.com/details?...51bGwsMSwxLDEsImNuLnl1bm1haS5jY2xhdW5jaGVyIl0.
It operates very similar to like ICS 4.0, issues I found with this launcher though is that it has very little to no customization. If someone here with the skills, talent and know how would like to take on the task on editing this Launcher like for example adding or deleting pages, adding or removing the 3D option, adding scrollable widget support and change icon support that would be great.
I don't know one thing about editing stuff like this or working on apps but I'm sure someone here does and would like to see a great working ICS launcher on devices working on Gingerbread and lower.
This launcher has a lot of potential because it is the first launcher to work very similar to ICS 4.0 down to the app drawer screen transition to the Holo effect on the main screen and it works on Gingerbread and lower devices while Nova launcher, Apex launcher and Trebuchet only work on ICS.
Anyways just my 2 cents here, have a good day everyone..
Reasons for using v2.58 of Go Launcher Ex:
1) Many Go Launcher Ex fans are unhappy with the new v3.0.0 look of Go Launcher Ex.
2) Also v3.0.0. and later are laggy, even without live wallpaper, with LWP its even more laggy, as they say in the market comments.
3) Also Newer Go Launcher versions don't use ICS transitions of your ROM.
4) TRUE Wallpaper modes: Scrolling and Vertical mode, TRUE because they change the cropper in Gallery into Landscape Cropper or Portrait Cropper accordingly. [/SIZE]So No need of Wallpaper Wizardii.
So here you have Go Launcher Ex v2.58 in the attachments
Uses ICS transitions (if you have them on your ROM)
I remembered when Sense 3.0 jumped to 3.6 we all got the square-ish crop for wallpapers. I have no idea what I did but I brought back the vertical crop wallpaper which, to be honest, kinda hate it now.
Last I remembered was updating ADW to its latest version. I havent set any new wallpaper then. Today when I found one which I liked, I realized my new wallpaper is cropped in ADW while in landscape mode.
Anyone any ideas?
Rom used is in sig

Wow installing apex launcher to set the wallpaper works lol. Never would have knew. Uninstalled apex, went back to adw and wallpaper setting is back to normal again.
Thanks!

I dont know if this is at all possible without theming but I was curious if you could get the sense 4+ on an aosp rom. Maybe not all the extra apps like the music and messaging and camera but the lockscreen and the widgets. I have tried all sorts of stuff with go launcher and beautiful widgets but they just don't do it justice. Is there a way to port this???? Has it already been done?

First of all, this should be in the Q&A section. Secondly, the closest you will get is a modded Sense ROM. I jumped ship from sense as fast as I could so I don't really follow the news, but I have heard that Viper ROM is the most AOSP-like Sense ROM.
No... Certain aspects or sense rely on the sense launcher... Like the clock...idk about the lockscreen...but mostly everything else is a no go on a diff launcher
Sense is very heavily tied into the framework. Ports are possible, like when I had a captivate there was a sense port but it was extremely unstable. It's just not worth the hassle really

you could always use a senseless rom so you could have other launchers but have sense lockscreen still
Go with Viper rom, use Apex or Nova launchers. You will have an Aosp style launcher while still maintaining the lockscreens, and HD Widgets will look just like sense.

In my experience all third-party launchers introduce a notable lag (compared to Rosie) when opening home screens, app drawer, etc. And this is with all possible animations and other eye candy turned off. Seems that as long as Sense is running in the background you have to go through an extra layer to get to the Launcher.
