why custom rom sucks battery so fast???:'(

Alrite buddies.... We all njoy having custom roms....they r fast they r gud...
Leave dat the hel thing abt these custom roms is sucking of battery..
I brought a new battry wrking fine nd giving gud backup atleast 2-3 days in my frnds gfit running on stock gingrbread... But when i use the same battry on my phn having custom rom(m nt talking abt particular 1 but al thpse r giving same result) it last 3-4 hours....
Goddamnit....!!!!
someone hlp pls..... :-(

Which stats n recovery r u talking about..? Cwm or android recovery..?

have you overclocked it? if you have then that mite be the thing....
dunno man my prob was done after i wiped battery stats

creeds 1.6 nd i havnt ovrclockd yet buddy...

wierd...thats not supposed to happen...try some other roms and chek..if the prob persists then try changing battery...

its still nt givin same performance as it was on my frnds stock 1>>>

i m in cm 7.1 and no battery mods or anything but its still giving me almost 14 to 15 hours

by the way tl me dude ....most threads nd cmments says by flashing any cyanogenmod on fit it stucks at boot loop how can i get rid of bootloop...
i was going to flash oc kernel but dont hav enough info... can u hlp me out buddy...

for the boot loop thing you just have to wipe data and cache after flashing.

and also download the audio and video bug fix and gapps and market which u need to flash from that page. and charge your battery fully b4 flashing!!! incase your battery fails in the middle of flashing no1 knows what ll happen

alrite.... can u tel me if its buggy or something nd wanna know 1 more thing if i want to return to my stock rom then how to do it.... i mean how to change recovry image to stock nd then the rom also...

if ur battery fails then when u boot your phone u just get a black screen screen...lolz

The best stable CYANOGEN is 7.2 RC3. If too much battery is being consumed, initially charge your phone to 100%, run battery calibrator [root required].
Use SET CPU to underclock your CPU when not in use i.e: night when u are not using it, screen off...this saves battery a lot...I have experienced 22hrs battery backup with 96% left.... Underclocking helps when phone not in use....

here's a simple analogy bro...you have a hero honda splendor and you thought why not put a r1 engine in it and run it really fast ..now you havesplendor with r1 engine and you can accelerate your bike to more than 130 dont you think you'l consume more fuel and harm your original bike processor n all....my personel experience bro the original stock roms work so good n fast atleat the basic functions like call and msg for which the phone is meant and awesome music and decent internet and gaming experience better use stock rom and love it coz it wont betray you atleast and if you want speed buy a better phone and enjoy there stock roms....just love as you are you'l never be dissapointed

every csutom rom has some bug and the worst part is the bug is on basic function like wifi music call calender alarm clock

man u r too rite... these custom roms hav probzzz in basic functions.... u can also c that mostly while flashing cyanogenmod ( ny vrsion) it just stucks on boot loop ...hav tried al the things...
nyways buddy just hlp me out tl me if i wanna return to my custom rom (latest 1 by samsung for gfit is ddkq6 fr india) nd also hav to change that recovry mod to samsung recovery cn u tell me hw can i acheive my target urgnt hlp pls........:-!

I'm in my Fit CyanogenMod 7.2 rc5.3 I would like to install the rom Creed´s V2.0, my baseband is LUBKP6 (Latin America). My question is: can I install the rom Creed´s over the CyanogenMod? It will work in baseband or LUBKP6 usually have to install the baseband DDKT3? If you install the DDKT3 function normally in my country.

according to the developer of this rom he mentions to flash it over DDKT3 so wat i suggest u to do is install stock 2.3.6 DDKT3 and then flash this rom!

[Q] htc pico

hello! i m new on xda !! recently i had an issue in my htc pico mypico install cm9 and cm9 based roms succesfully !! but donot install other roms like cm10 and stock rom on installing rom it install successfully but on reboot after htc logo it gives me black screen and then goes take me to recovery mod every time ant boot !! in case of cm10 initially it gives me the error of status7 error i remove assert line [which is mostly mentioned in many tutorials to remove assert 7 error] but after that it gives me installiation failed error what can i do :crying: im games lover but cm9 does not support many of the games thats why i want to use stock rom or cm10 !!!! plzzzz suggest me !!!! what can i do !!! THANK'S!!!

bro, did you OC your rom before?
if yes some OC kernels will eat your nand, and this will cause to error in installing other roms, just try nand recovery method and try to make a neat install...

first thankxx!! for ur reply !! yes! i overclock my phone many times and if ur clean install mean wipe dalvic cache , system , and everything even my memory memorycard data then i do it alot of times but problem is same ! let me tell u now my phone is smothly runing on cm9 and every cm9 base rom works but !! why is this hapening !! plz desctribe me more i also try to change my custom recovery but nothing helps! and plzzz describe me this nand recovery method i donot knw what is this !!

what to do?
1. download this superwipe_v0.5zip
then just flash it. its a flashable NAND Recovery.
2. i recommend you to use latest TWRP Touch Recovery or PhilZ Touch Recovery.

Use ROM tool box to update your recovery to latest version. I suggest using cwm recovery ,its the best.

BTW why you still using cm9? Its very old & ICS. I suggest u try the cm11 nightly build with android 4.4.3. Its the best ROM for our HTC pico. Its in build #4. They will be upgrading to android 4.4.4 in next build & the ROM is smooth as silk. Everything works & zero bugs.

Pre-requisites:
1) Custom recovery such as TWRP, CWM, PhilzTouch(TWRP 2.8.4 rev2 prefered, as I've tested rom using this recovery)
2) Before proceeding, Back up your Current Rom (Failsafe).
3) /System minimum 1gb partition (Repartition your phone, before you flash this ROM).
4) SP Flash Tools & Stock rom (In case, If you are in trouble).
Procedure:
# Put the downloaded MIUI V7 5.8.13 by Wes.zip in sd card.
# Wipe /system, /data, /cache, Dalvik Cache, Android Secure using Advanced Wipe.
# Install MIUI V7 5.8.13 by Wes.zip
# Don't reboot system, Wipe Cache & Dalvik Cache & Press Home button.
# Immediately, Install the MIUI6_5.8.6_Patch.zip(works well on this rom)
# Reboot System.
# 1st boot may take 3-5 minutes (Screen will be a boot animation not a Boot Logo. If you stuck at Boot Logo, then go to recovery & flash the rom again).

I don't find any bug till now,as I using this rom from yesterday
rom is stable...fast ...new inbuilt themes
and this is real MIUI 7 Beta....not themed MIUI 6 Beta

Thanks for sharing the review, the Muse service is for Miui 7 india only & this is port of Chinese Rom

@rohitsinghpu, You just don't have used patches!!! You just post a thread, you haven't ported a ROM, all the work was done by Turkdevs & Me.
As a friend, I suggest u that you should read, search(as much as u can) & then go for it. As the patch was almost capable to port miui_kk to bugless ROM, u didn't found any bugs. But, if there were the bugs or users found any difficulties, then you must be capable to resolve them.
I've read & searched xda, since the day, I have started using ROMs by @bgos10 & you have seen the outcome.
Be a porter/dev and keep Xolo q3000 shine as brand new. You can use, system folder from patch to any ROM, but, u must learn to port boot.img & bug fixing.

All the work is done by turkdev & by you sir....i just flash the rom from turkdev and apply patch by you .....check the rom for 1 day & post the rom....doesn't think want are the consequences

Flash the rom again...immediately flash patches by @sachin sir....don't erase cache & dalvik cache before & after the flash of the patches,try & reply back that audio setting works or not

Plz help!! IMEI has been reset! I didn't take a nanandroid backup.I have the Legend V11 rom though.

No previous backup?? Flash stock rom & write IMEI using mtkdroid tools or sn write station.
