Its not 100% complete so if anyone wanted to lend me a hand themeing the text and prediction text colours, it would be greatly appreciated.
ICSwype - Made to resemble the stock ICS keyboard
Instructions for Metamorph
1. Download the latest swype beta
2. Go into root your preffered file manager and go to /data/app
3. copy the file com.swype.android.inputmethod-1.apk to the /Android folder on your sdcard
4. Unzip and apply HTSwype.zip in metamorph
5. Using zipsigner2 (from market) to sign the file
6. Uninstall swype on your device
7. Go into /sdcard/Android and install com.swype.android.inputmethod-1-signed.apk

When I go into data I don't see apps it's just blank...?
Just sent a PM with the APK.
Its probably your file manager.
Metamorph says it doesn't recognize the file. I signed it using zipsigner and still nothing.

Make sure that your swype apk is the EXACT same name as listed in OP and it is in the correct folder.
This theme is total and complete abomination.. Sticking with default..
Either use it or don't.You don't have to knock other peoples work.

Don't worry about him. I'm actually very excited, found that swype works with ICS yesterday (Finally. I hadn't tried it in a while.) and that it now has dragon dictation built into it for speech to text. AMAZING! It really works very well.

Try using titanium backup to back up data for the app and them restore it after.

You need to use metamorph as far as I know.
Follow the instructions and you'll be fine.
Apparently you are not set up to recieve PM's so I cannot send it that way.

You can do the copying with root explorer.
Download swype with the swype installer, if you don't have it, find the apk and install to/system/app/. If you download with the swype installer, install and don't enable. Copy com.swype.inputmethod-1.apk to/system/app. Install the apk there once copied. Put the swype_htc.zip in the android themes folder. Download metamorph. Select create new. Select the swype_htc.zip and follow the instructions. Once applied, reboot the phone, then go in to keyboards in settings and enable swype. Some times it won't take on the first try, just reapply the metamorph and reboot and it should take.
Get it HERE , make sure swype is in /system/app and named com.swype.android.inputmethod-1.apk
I take no credit other then changing the .thm to .xml
If it doesnt work let me know asap!

I've been playing with MM themes as well, but from what Im reading and finding...the tracer color is changed with a hex editor in the lib folder..have you had any luck? I dont really understand editing that .so file. let me know if you get it to work..

The tracer color is changed to green in the mm, however for some reason it won't change with the mm.

This isn't version specific at the moment, its a metamorph theme for swype. It works for the inc and the droid on the newest swype and possibly other devices.

did you move your swype is that why you are having trouble removing it?
If so-
delete the app from system/app or whatever the current location is- and then delete the additional file- com.swype.android.inputmethod in data/data/
restart phone. and also uninstall your swype installer and you should be good to go
yeah it was because I moved it, I wound up just searching for any swype related files in root explorer and deleting them. Its back working now, haven't tried to theme it yet though

This is a port of my cm6.1 theme now for CM7
I redid a few images, mainly the battery and a few odds and ends....themed out Music, Genie, DeskClock and Power control widgets.
there are a few more things i'd like to do with this....
*edit* now fixed and with only 1 apk
Instructions:
1. Download apk
2. Place on the root of your sd card
3. Using a file explorer, install "alpha7_signed_11.apk"
4. Open theme chooser
5. Select alpha7
6. You will get this error: "Sorry, this theme is missing assets for your device's screen size." Hit apply anyway
7. Reboot
8. Enjoy!

Nice looking work! I have a thought about the not installing correctly, the theme chooser apps only seem to render their fullness if in /system/app, if left in /data/app they seem to be less complete. I use androidian, and if I run it as a data app it doesn't apply the .png for the dropdown header, and if it's in system app, it does anyway, hope that helps...

the problem is the theme Chooser. up till a certain nightly or RC, themes would show in the theme Chooser. now, they wont show but the number of themes installed will change.
i cant get this to work. aospCM7. i keep getting, error, this theme was improperly compiled. and i cant apply it. restarted the phone and still no go

did you install the second apk after the first?
It wouldn't let me. I install the 1st apk and when I try to install the 2nd it asks me to launch the app or uninstall... like a if the 2 apk's were the same.

Ugh, then I have to uninstall a bunch of other stuff that it comes with. I run a very minimal ship here, anything I don't use within the first week or so of flashing a ROM, I delete.

Well, maybe. I'm currently working on a bluegreen-ish one. If you could help me test it as i develop it that'd be great. Although, pretty much all that's left to find out is where to change the font color inside the menu/grid selector.

i want that font too please..!!
you can easily add the font (also battery and so on) by yourself, just upload the framework-res.apk from your rom to http://uot.dakra.lt/ and dl the output file. afterwards flash it via xrecovery.
if that doesn't work for you, manually mount data and and system in partition tools and afterwards flash the zip.
This ist the way, i, simacid and playgunsta "made" the new battery icons and font.
Edit: i suggest we put our modded files here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1041533, so we can all post our creations there and WB can put this on his OP, so everyone can choose by himself what he likes, without searching the whole threat.

I'm not experienced with miui, so idk. But it should. Plain old apks. Though miui file folder system may differ from Wolf's.

Hey that's great news! It doesn't exactly fit though, does it? At least not form what I've seen.

Fits perfect for me one thing I noticed though, when I edit contacts to add picture, after it saves there is no picture. But it's still sweet as, i flashed it replacing trips phone. Thanks too love it

I appreciate the files. The thing is, I'm on the ViperS ROM and through its built-in Tweaks + Hub apps, we can change the font with one click and no need to back up files.

dont have to take a backup all the time, you just need to flash the flasable zip,
Proving screenshot is difficult, I am urging forum members to help me out, flash any of the zip and pls share the screenshot

With Viper you can change the font thru the Viper Hub. If you want a different font than the ones they offer in the Hub and you want to use an app to do it, I heard Font Changer Free on the market works pretty well.
But I like using the ones from the Viper Hub cuz there's no reason to backup then
