I meant when you s-off your phone if you did it through the official website or did you do it with revolutionary?

I rooted mine through the Revolutionary tool. Have no problems with Elegancia's ICS 4.0.3. Even have perfect wi-fi calling also.

Same here, but with occasional wifi calling FC's. I did find with mine that GreenPower caused a low wifi signal for some reason. Turning that app off immediately increased signal strength.

I got the phone already rooted & the only ICS rom I tried was ARHD. Everything was good & all but I just couldn't never get my WiFi connected. I don't never use WiFi calling.

No prob here, I'm using ARHD 6.2.1. Previous version had a wifi problem. I also have wifi calling available.

The reason I ask is because there is two ways two s-off your phone one of the ways seems to be causing wifi issues, according to some users. Doesn't sound you know what method was used to s-off yours but sounds like it was with the htcdev site.

do you have any issues with wifi calling? Because I have the same setup as yours and the wifi calling connection drops every 5-10 minutes even if I'm not on the phone. Yet the WiFi maintains its connection with my router...

If you have a WiFi problem you may need to:
Extract the Rom file on the pc and it may have an unsecured boot.img file. If so then download adb and put the boot file in the same folder as the adb file. It has to be the same folder. Then hold shift and right click on the folder and press open in command prompt. The phone needs to be in fastboot, go into hboot and click fastboot and have it plugged in. Then on the command prompt type fastboot flash boot boot.img , after that is done type fastboot reboot-bootloader and then fastboot reboot. This flashing should be done after the Rom has been flashed, I do it before the first boot.

I've tried using wifi calling on at least 3 or 4 different ICS roms and it does the same thing dropping the call within a few minutes. I don't even bother trying it anymore, too bad as it would be really nice to have. Maybe when HTC releases a final version but I'm not holding my breath.

I found a ROM that works...thanks anyways.

Yeah, no problems here on V.I. 3.5.0

[Q] WiFi calling

Have any of you chefs dug into the us tmobile Rom to see if WiFi calling is included? I haven't seen any Tmobile US specs yet. Just curious about since I rely on it.

the latest rom available from the rom page for TMO has wifi calling included and it works.
I also just got official word from my HTC rep who confirmed that the HTC Sensation will have T-Mobile WiFi calling capabilities.
So even with a non T-Mobile sensation you can flash their rom and get wifi calling working?

You having problems with the data signal after making ROOT and S-OFF???

Researching and reading some homeowner concerns of htc sensation, I have observed that a large number of users after making root and s-off a large majority are having problems with the responsiveness of the data signal on the phone, even do not know that usually this problem if the custom ROM or made S-OFF, so if we know the problem is there, if you have the same problem post your complaints here.
people forget to match up radio versions and corresponding rils. i haven't had any issues with the properly matches rils/radios.

Here's what you want, but I tell you that I tried everything and still does not solve this problem, I combined the radio and RIIL and versions anyway and I have not been able to solve this problem

So your still stuck with the same problem as me? Or did you just go back to out of the box stock Rom? I was thinking of just go with the stock, since I've been having problems mainly on signal issues after I flashed arhd and I can't stand having to turn airplane mode on and off everytime to gain signal.

Root and a off don't relate to signal, but what you flash after that does. Easiest solution is to use the same radio and ril combo as was included stock, whichever ROM you're using. Newer radios can give some improvements, but also can cause issues

Try flashing one of the SebastionFM kernels, that seems to fix wifi issues or search the Sensation forums for wifi fixer

Flashed this all rom in this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1526496
and i have updated the frimware
some times the wireless network some times appear for 5 seconds then its gone
As soulside86 mentioned, Sebastians kernel seems to adress that problem. If you don't want to do that I recommand trying to hold the phone straight and then change the angle to about 10 degrees left or right. Helped to solve the problem when I was at stock rom.
Another solution (with my parents router) was to change the directions the w-lan antennas were heading. Small changes (about 10-15 degrees) did the trick. Might not work for you but as its simple, I think it's worth a try.

flashable stock tmo rom

ive looked and cant seem to find a flashable zip of the most recent tmo firmware. i found a nandroid but wifi didnt work. if someone knows where one is or can post one id appreciate it.
It's not going to work for you regardless. There is firmware you need included in update for Wi-Fi to work on that build.

I personally had to relock the bootloader and flash the 1.53 RUU, get the 2 updates, unlock bootloader, flash recovery and finally root....... Took me 2 hours but worth it, everything works

very sad too cus my phone blows now.
2.21 runs great with awesome data speeds. I was on that for weeks till yesterday, giving this 2.35 a test drive. 2.31 gave me random reboots.
I'm on T-Mobile US.
HTC One™ S
Hmm. So I was having even worse data/wifi issues after updating. Like I said the speed test app wouldn't work, wifi calling wouldn't work. So I found the newest ruu which is posted here in the [email protected] section, like 2.85 or whatever. Ran the ruu and I'm having zero issues. Something with taking the updates ota didn't agree with my phone. If you're having issues after the ota I'd suggest just running the ruu. Seems flawless now.

Help, can't connect to cell network

Hello, I am running Bruce's CM10 build, and out of the blue I noticed my cellular connection completely dropped. I have no access to any mobile services e.g. calls texts and data. As far as I am aware, no modifications have been made today which could cause this. Does anyone know of any solution?

Hi,
Backup,
format all partitions (except sd card)
Download the ROM again,and re-install.
I also do not get data on the Cm10 rom. I get data on all other roms but this one. Let me know if you find a fix. I'd like to run that rom myself but no matter what I do I don't get data. I've tried switching ril, and radio, still no joy. I tired format all but SD card, I've tried the app get ril, still no joy. I finally gave up. Hope you can get the data working for your device .best wishes.
