Im new to this rooting stuff n ive read so many threads of how to root it but its jst to confusing that sometimes i dont even know whats going on :/. And ive search all around to find a video of how to root my touch slide n guess no 1 has posted 1 yet can some 1 plz let me know wht is the easiest way to root this phone without all this commands . thank u n appreciate it
hey everyone.... so I have SEARCHED.. and searched.. read a post that was over 160+ pages and took everyones advice and instructions on rooting.. when I temp root.. everything seems ok.. until i reset the phone.. says s-on...and i cant use my rom manager even though my superuser says the app has permission.. im usually pretty good at following instructions.. but something is not right with my phone and this rooting... even my friend who had rooted his phone.. cant root mine..
I hate to be another "new to the rooting" but Ive been at this for 6 hours now.. and I should be sleeping but now I really want to root this phone.. Pleaseeeee anyone willing to help and guide me.. Im still searching in the meantime..

i dont know if this is the right place to ask ..and tbh i took 5 mins to find out how to ask ..
so i wanted to upgrade my samsung galaxy s2 camera into 30mbits..so i found this page http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1104051&page=11 and downloaded that mod. after i put it in my phone and tryd to install it it said not installed instead of installed...same mod is also made by 'potatoman' i think that his name....but that one worked after i installed it with root explorer....but thing is that one had 24bits video recording and i want 30mbits so i want to know what is the problem in that mod..

the 24mbits still work in my phone...and ya my phone is rooted...
i was gonna reply to that thread but it said you are new so you cant reply to that one.....i really need help in installing the 30mbits video one.
i just learned rooting etc stuff...and im like 16.....i think all of you guys are the same age...nvm just help me with the problem

Recently a friend of mine have rooted his phone but there were many bugs such as wifi connectio issues etc.

1.Google it for how to root Galaxy S Plus , or YouTube it !!
2.Search it in Here !! , btw i was a Noob like you , and still noob , but i search 1st before i post , it's like think before your do !!

I tried, I put the root-i9001-signed.zip in the SD card folder. I turned it on with volume up and power button, but I am not getting the android with the box logo, it just boots normally.
How can I fix this?
