I recently bought a Google Android tablet off of eBay and I am a little disappointed that it is running Android 2.2 Froyo. I have a T-Mobile LG G2X, which I have rooted and installed CM7 on with GB, but I have never owned a tablet before and am rather at a loss.
I would like to root and upgrade, possibly flash CM7 onto the tablet if I can but I have no clue where to start nor do I know if this is even possible. Any help, tips, hints or tricks will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much

rema032, I can't attach the launcher, I extracted from my phone using Titanium Backup. It is 22.5 MB and doesn't shrink much if I try to compress it. If you want it send me a private message and I can put it on drop box temporarily or e-mail it direct to you.
Hello I want to resize the infernal memory for this cellphone, could you help me? Thanks!.

Strange Rome X behaviour
I've got a Rome X, but I'm struggling with something. It doesn't run background services at startup, or leave them running if you swipe to kill the app.
For example, I installed GSam Battery Monitor - when that app is running there is a notification showing battery left. This does not appear when the phone is rebooted - only appearing when I launch the app. If I then swipe right to kill the app, the notification disappears. This doesn't happen on any other Android device I have.
Does anyone have any ideas? Anyone have the same issue? Anything I can tweak if the phone is rooted?
Is there a recovery like TWRP or CWM for it?
