Download my mod, open the zip file with 7-zip..
- Transparent rosie, REMOVED text below the 'All Apps' icon are Rosie.apk
- Transparent Status Bar is SystemUI.apk
- The % Battery is framework-res.apk
If you want any feature above just keep the apk files that contains the feature, then delete others 'USELESS' apk in the zip. After that you can flash it like a normal zip file

I'd like to ask one tiny favor though. Can you compile a stock Rosie.apk file with the removed 'all apps' text? Or if you can share as to which files were responsible for the text? Whichever suits you. The thing is, the super smooth ones kinda annoys me so I prefer the stock one. Thanks!

Hehe, it's rather nice to sit in front of a computer...
I'll be happy if you do it when you have time, no rush, and it is not a request, just a humble wish.
Maybe it's just as well to wait for the final ICS. I realize it must be frustrating to do a lot of work and find out it has to be redone almost immediately.

- Enter Enlightenment -
After the excessive prettiness that was Reincarnation, DK decided to go back to the drawing board...again. What more could he do that could be done on a Sense 1.0 rom while still keeping things fresh? How about incorporating some Jellybean elements into the Sense 1 framework for starters? Influenced by the minimalism of the Holo design. The idea of adding Holo progress bars, Jellybean notifications and using Jellybean animations were born. I've been flirting and falling in love with ICS/JellyBean so why not emulate the look and feel?!
The next idea was to trim the excess fat off the Rom. The easiest thing would be to strip away the Sense elements but that would be kind of senseless and boring. The solution was to tone down the Sense 4 look and use of transparencies in favor again of the Holo design. By going with mono, darker, and flatter textures, png sizes have been greatly reduced. Also combined with the use of other techniques, I have trimmed the system files by 100mb from the last version. The Rom sizes kept going up with each new release until V8 finally went over the 200mb mark. I wasn't going to let that trend continue on V9. Clocking in at a lean 165mb zip, its by far the lightest version I've ever made! Ram and performance is much more efficient now. 'Balance' has been the key theme throughout the making of V9
As much as I've been heaping praises on Jellybean, the final phase of development was to take another look at Sense and give some of its identity back. Inspired by the look of the latest Sense trends, the idea of turning the stock clock into a 3x2 widget and adding Sense 5 icons were introduced. I have traveled far and wide through the Sense landscape, from the HTC One to HTC Butterfly, even to the EVO LTE for inspiration. To mix all these visual elements together, while focusing more this time on the performance side of things has been the greatest task. It has definitely been an "enlightening" experience making V9.
The series has come full circle. Enjoy the journey.

not really a big update, it's essentially the same as V8 - same tweaks, same theme, just about the same internal memory.. but here is what i added for the international folks requesting languages for my rom.
- support for 30+ languages(french, italian, japanese, korean, chinese, vietnamese, german etc.) through most of the OS. shouldn't have to use an app like MoreLocale anymore unless there is a language i'm missing or didn't feel compelled to include in my rom.
- re-enabled choosing your language on first setup
- added back lang_pico TTS files
- added back HtcCalculatorWidget
- added iWnnIME for japanese keyboard support and themed it to match my rom
- updated GooglePlay to latest 3.9.16 with Google Play logo for custom status icon

4g, wi-fi, bluetooth all work, camera should work
i'd say the only thing that FC's is dialing *2 to Sprint.. i deleted the SprintZone.apk
other than that it should be pretty reliable. and i will post screenies soon or i was thinking a Screencast video. but it looks pretty much stock-like.

i have none of those features yet but these will be added to my "things to work on" list for the future which means... i've got alot of work to do..
if you got a modded zip that can flash quick settings or sense 3.0 lockring on a stock Sense 1.0, 4.67 odex rom feel free to do so. but the goal is to keep this rom simple and stock sorta like a Sprint Lover's type rom.
perhaps when i add those features you mention in, it will be an entirely new rom.
alright i added a video of the ROM in action to the OP if anyone is on the fence or is just curious.. it's just a quick 4 min. run-down and yes i even screen recorded the bootanimation too.. just a quirky way of presenting things cuz i havent seen any people done that yet with ScreenRecorder...
Great ROM, good first start. Just a few things:
1. Download was slow as heck (use dev-host or goo-inside me etc.)
2. Doesn't make me a sandwich.
3. Keep voice search and live wallpapers.
4. Won't make EVO dual core S4 w/ 1GB of RAM
Other than those (major) issues, great work man. Been looking to go back to stock from deck's ICS, because I apparently, actually need a daily driver to get stuff done. Good work

thanks man! apapreciate the feedback and i agree i kinda wanted to get away from the sense 3.0/3.5, ICS roms for a bit and go back to the roots.
Um, it kind of won't flash, lol. Look at my updated post. LOOKS great. Won't flash though . I've always had a soft spot for the stock experience, as it always seems to me the most functional and fluid of anything I've tried. Of course, plenty of tweaks, themes and optimizations thanks to superuser abilities always help

Are you on clockwork mod recovery? You can switch to amon ra 2.3.

You can flash amon ra then nandroid flash this rom then flash back to cwm.

sorry about the inconvenience buddy! when i zipped up the rom i didn't use an updater-script or edify script which i believe is compatible with CWM. i never have used CWM. i've heard more cons about CWM than there are pros with AmonRa. it's just a more reliable Recovery so i stuck with AMonRa ever since i rooted....but yeah what Volk said.

Custom kernel (I'd suggest lionfish, what I always use. Use with permission).
GPU UI Rendering
Get me leftover pizza and soda from the fridge (dead serious).
Otherwise, it's actually really smooth, and runs great. Awesome job.
EDIT: Yeah, I flashed Amon RA. The only reason I don't use it is because it doesn't support the capacitive buttons, and my power and volume buttons are getting worn down from all the recovery booting/flashing lol.

thanks Diablo, keep up the good work with your roms and i dunno why i picked fileserve lol. the hosting sites that came to mind were fileserve and mediafire.. devhost is a nice place, must be the new place that everyone hosts their roms now..

Q: How do I install the rom?!
A: (Thanks to anarchychris for putting these together)
ViperXL Install Instructions
Download the the latest ViperXL full ROM zip from the download section
Place the file somewhere on your phone storage
Confirm the MD5 on the download page matches the MD5 of the file on your phone (ES File Explorer will show the MD5 of the file)
Reboot to TWRP Recovery
Backup current ROM if desired
Install ROM using TWRP and select wipe during aroma install if coming from another base
If you have 1.14 hboot you may need to flash the boot.img in fastboot (ViperXL is fastboot 1.14 friendly but in some cases you will need to manually install the Boot.img). You will need to extract the Boot.img from the ROM zip.
Reboot and Enjoy
You can flash the boot.img before or after flashing the rom. It works either way.

Q: I have a problem with the ROM (FC, Boot Loop, apps closing automatically). How can I get my problem resolved?
A: First things first. Try wiping data and replicating the issue:
Rebooting into Recovery
Perform a Nandroid backup (of just Data if you wish)
Flash the ROM and select the option to "Wipe Data"
Try replicating the issue
If the problem persists, capture a logcat and send it to me.
To capture a logcat, If you have fastboot setup, you already have the drivers installed and probably already have adb.exe in the same folder as fastboot.exe:
Open the Command Prompt (run it as Administrator if UAC is enabled in Windows)
run adb logcat >c:\logcat.txt
If it's just not booting, let it run for about 20 seconds. If it's a FC, replicate the FC in this step
Press Control-C to stop logging
Paste the contents of c:\logcat.txt into http://pastebin.com
Post the link here with the problem being experienced
Hopefully, I'll have a fix available (assuming I'm not too busy) that others can benefit from.
Q: Whats the md5 sum thing?
A: It ensures, that the rom is downloaded correctly and completly to avoid weird issues when installing/using the rom. Google for "md5 sum checker" and you should find what you need.
Q: I found a theme or mod, will it work on this rom?
A: It's NOT recommended to use mod/themes that dont clearly state, that they are compatible with our rom. Thems/Mods always use framework files which will brake mods/stuff in our rom.
Q: My question is not listed here, what to do?
A: Ensure you used the xda search, google and your brain before asking a question in the thread. If you cant find an answer yourself we will answer your question for sure! (-:
Q: My media (pictures, music, etc.) is not listed in the Gallery/HTC Music/etc.
A: Try rescanning your SDCARD by using an app such as Media Scanner

Here are the unofficial releases of our ROM. These get automatically uploaded every night.
You can check the changes in the changelog. The nightlies may not be 100% stable, if you want a
stable release, you're best off sticking to the official releases.
SVN Trunk
We use SVN to host our ROM project. This means you can
stay up to date with the ROM change by change. If you can't wait for the official
releases this lets you download the rom the minute we make a change to it.
It also stops you needing to download the full ROM every time, as it
downloads only the changed files for that particular revision.

As you've no doubt noticed, the famous Renovate theme is still MIA. It will be reappearing in one form or another, just not sure exactly when yet. In the meantime, you can get your theming fix using the add-ons available in myHub (coming soon).

Renovate Full Coloured Themes
After long consideration, I have selected three themes that I would love to share with the Renovate public. These themes are based on the latest Milestone and unfortunately, they will not work on any earlier versions of the Renovate ROM. These themes are fully inverted with 4 wonderfully assorted colouring schemes that I hope you'll find enjoyable. Please make a full back-up of your current settings before flashing. If you want to replace the wallpapers, just apply a wallpaper of your preference. All themes have been tested for some time now and I don't anticipate any issues.

This is a beta version of the Razor Chrome Red theme. This theme is based on the latest Milestone and should not be flashed on anything older. There will be an update in a few days once a couple of apks have been moved over to system. As always, make a back-up of your current settings. Download and flash. Enjoy. Any requests of issues can be posted in the thread and I will look into it. I don't anticipate anything going wrong as I ran this theme for a while now.

This is a Beta version of the Razor Black Theme for Sense 6. It has taken me a long time to get this theme in a position to publish. There will be some theming inverting issues, so please report. I checked as much as I could but I am sure I missed something.
This theme is based on the stock theme (the green wallpaper theme). All major apks are inverted. Please make a complete backup of your current settings. Again, report and issues regarding the theme here so that it can be corrected in the first update.

Does Sense 6 support Sprint?
Answer: The Sprint support is being worked on but currently the rom is GSM only. Team Renovate appreciates our Sprint users and we are actively working to get Sprint support built into the ROM, as well as all other U.S. specific carriers
My GPS isn't working on ATT ! How do I fix it?
Answer: Simply flash SVN or Nightly Revision 60 or newer and choose full aroma install. Choose ATT for the carrier and then continue with your usual settings
What's this I see in the thread about editing my build.prop? What's a build.prop?
Answer: That was a workaround for early version, flashing SVN 60 or newer will eliminate the need for any such edits.
How do I remove or change the HEQS in notification drop down? How do I change from sense to android toggle?
ANSWER: Tap the DATE in the notification pulldown to remove them or switch between sense and android
Why is there no clock in my blinkfeed?
Answer: The clock will appear in blinkfeed when you set the blink feed as the default home screen
How can I get rid of the pastel green?
Answer: Go to Settings/Personalize/Themes and choose one of the other themes. That's right, Sense 6 has a built in theme chooser!
Does ART work?
Answer: Not currently working on any Sense 6 roms, we'll let you know when that changes
Should I do a clean install?
Answer: Clean installing is best especially when coming from a different rom or sense version, but you can try installing without a factory reset.
NOTE: Do not report bugs or problems in the rom thread until you have done a clean install after wiping with a factory reset.
Can I odex this rom upon installing it?
Answer: Currently odexing the rom causes problems booting, the developers will add that as a working feature soon!
Why is my phone bootlooping?
You probably chose to odex it (see above) and to fix it simply choose not to odex it.
Why are my icons so white and bright?
Answer: Renovate believes in building a high quality base rom for the foundation of our work. Renovate themers and developers are working hard to bring you Renovate Theme and a long list of features and mods. Sense 6 is the biggest update/change HTC has thrown our way so we are building from the ground up instead of simply porting a theme from one base to another.

1) Blinkfeed clock is only activated when you set Blinkfeed as home screen
2) Still got FCs when tapping on show received files...
is this version the same as this from saturnday? I cannot download zoe and other HTC apps (google play says my device is not compliant with this software)
