Infinite Booting

I just flashed the CyanogenMod 7 MusicEdition_v1.1 and my phone has been stuck in an infinite booting loop
please help!

Damn bro, stop flashing roms from guys that are porting for the first time.
Try to put your SD Card on other phone and put a zip file of a rom, Creeds ROM or FITDroid.

managed to install official 2.3.6 ROM

that rom had pretty good reviews
anyhow, is this one safe?

just flash it over cm7.1 that worked for me

and then flash your cm7.1 music edition

do i flash the OC kernel first or the ROM?

You must flash the rom, then the kernel. And before you flash the kernel don't forget to mount system in advanced (CWM Recovery).

follow the instructions on link i gave u u dont have to flash kernel its not necessary just flash rom from link above and after that flash cm7 music edition i had same problem and this worked for me

Hi all , I am new here , that's my first post , that's my first thread ,
I want to upgrade my phone to ICS , my phone is rooted and had CyanogenMod 7.0.3 with android 2.3.3 installed on it ,
please I don't know how to root , how to install a room , how to do anything ,
I need a good guide here to help me to upgrade my phone from CyanogenMod to ICS Official version , and thanks in advance for any help

thanks for you interest but I am on Cyanogen 7.0.3 with a rooted device I want to get android 4 ice cream sandwich , when I try to update the software it give me an{ status 7 } error

In CWM menu, choose "install zip ...", not to choose "update zip....". You'd better wipe data/cache partitation before install ICS stock rom.

Unlock bootloader
Install CWM
Formay SYSTEM/CACHE/DATA/BOOT/DALVIK CACHE/SD CARD
Mount SD card
Copy the official ICS ROM for I9020T to SD
Install zip from SD
Reboot
Have fun

sorry guys , but is CWM menu is the menu that I can Access when I Press the power + Volume Up button !?

sorry but is CWM a program !? not a menu , Excuse my ignorance , but can anyone give me a new link for ICS official , and tell me step by step what to do

how to go into cwm ? download rom manager from market , open rom manager and click flash clockworkmod recovery and select nexus s , and after loading you have see the message ........successful flashed (something like).. now click rebot into recovery and click ok , now you are in cwm..

Flashed before cwm v5 how to flash cwm v6

Hi flashed before cwm recovery v5 as a part of rooting process to my 10 inch tab2 p-5100 then flashed Fryrom and worked perfect want to install cm10 so i heard i should flash cwm v6.0.10 to be able to flash this rom how to do so ? from within cwm5 or what ? or use Odin ? and put file in internal or external sd card?

booting to CM7.2 whit CWM Recovery v6.0.4.6

2 - and for my poor English and horrendous spelling errors
i have a p500h (OldBB)
using "arnab321-Tasssadar-MultiROMMgr-v5.1" i dual boot
wen the story start i have CWM Recovery v5.0.2.0 CM10.2 on internal and CM7.2 on sd-ext
first i flashed mukulsoni`s flashable CWM Recovery v6.0.4.6
booted to CM10.2, works fine
booted to CM7.2, works too :laugh:
No, this recovery for KitKat only, as you must be aware that KitKat ROM flash on "Set_Metadata_Recursive" and all previous JB and others were using SET_PERM_RECURSIVE.
The update can take backup and restoration of sdext, which was disabled in previous one. Enjoy....

stage 2 installing CM11
i installed CM11
installed arnab321-Tasssadar multi rom
i had to restore my sd-ext partition, it was formatted during the CM11 install
and rebooted to CM7.2
still working
next test will be installing CM7.2 on the internal and see if its somting speceal in the rom i use or the arnab321-Tasssadar multi rom

road block
i cant flase the cm7.2 rom i get an error
format() expects 5 args got 3
and wen i try to flash CWM Recovery 5.0.2.0 i get install abortend

I:Cant`t partition non-vfat: /storage/sdcard0 (vfat)
ill try using an app

i used an app to get back to 5.0.2.0
flashed my CM7.2 rom
flashed 6.0.4.6
boot
and CM7.2 runs
next try: slimrom v1.3-oldBB (an old rom from rec v4 days)
cant flash inn 6.0.4.6 "format() expects 5 args got 3" error
using an app to got back to recovery 5.0.2.0
flasing the slimrom
flasing 6.0.4.6
boot
slimrom runs whit no problem
my congloson: ther is no problem booting to old android like 2.3.7 (didnt test ICS and JB but i think thy will boot to)
the only problem is in the install scrips
the old probably wont get an updated scrips but ther is still work on 2.3.7 roms that mite get install scripts that can work in 6.0.4.6
that 4 postes 6 more to go
p.s.
i use a 2.3.7 rom called nexusme-kitkat
i understand it has some paid apps in it
can any on tell me wat thy are id like to pay for them
and id like to know what camera is in ther

want to install new rom problem with recovery version. I have galaxy ace 5830. i want to install cmm11 in it but cmm11 require CWM 6.0.5.3. but in my phone it is showing as cwm 5.0.2.6. if any one can help with it??

Here is the flashable zip for cwm 6.0.5.3 make sure your phone is "5830" and NOT "5830i" before flashing.
