ICS keyboard question - T-Mobile LG G2x

Is there a way to get rid of the smiley button? I like to use the return button for a new paragraph but I can't figure it out.
Im using Go keyboard with ICS 4.0.3.

Go Keyboard doesn't have an option for that?

Ahh sorry. I'm using Go because it HAS the functionality that I need.
The stock keyboard is what I'm talking about.

Well, as far as I can tell, there isn't an option, but check this one out.

They replaced the smiley button with the return button, and if you hold down on it you can use smileys.
I'm not so sure what's not in the free one that the donate one has, but I already bought it. Although it outlines it in the description.

Using it now. Seems to be good to go!! Thanks

Same here, lol.
I just had to have it. D:

I think that GO should just make their own ROM, and let us have control over our devices!
Thanks SefEXE for the link to the post to fix my normal keyboard also!

Impaled Keyboard patch fix 5 different speeds! [Modified] EC05 ONLY

Yes, this is COMPLETELY credited to mkasick and theimpaler747, as we all know he hasn't been around, so I decided to do this. I am setting the keytimer to 5 different speeds for everyone to try out. It seems that people have different success with different times. The higher the number, the longer the keytimer waits. So try them all out and see which one works best for you!!
As always, here is the original keytimer thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1025533
Here is the ORIGINAL keyboard patch from mkasick... None of our settings would be possible with this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1039991
Remember, this is EC05 Android 2.2 ONLY. And you must have a compatible kernel. Just flash it through clockwork!
Let me know which timer works best for you!

People have been asking me for this. Remember... ec05 only. I WILL be updating this once someone implements the efficiency patch into their kernel.

emmmmm i made a completely transparent clock like a month ago for my rom THE BEAST in the mytouch forums,
First off the one you had on your rom the beast was my idea. You forgot I PM'd you and suggested that you create a transparent android clock?
Secondly the one you created does not look anything like the clock I have above. My clock is completely stock. Only thing modified is the transparency.

I definitely wasn't offended. I did not create this clock hoping I would get a bunch of "wows" over it especially since all I did was add transparency. Anyone could of added the transparency. It was a very simple mod.

Honestly I am real confused right now. I don't see how I'm being a "****" when I said anyone could of easily did what I did to the clock and its a simple looking clock? I'm done with this conversation cause now I'm really getting mad. This makes no sense to argue about the clock being simple and plain when I clearly agreed with you. Please lets just get back on topic and end this argument. I'm glad that you voiced your opinion on the clock being plain, but me being a "****" is uncalled for especially since I said nothing wrong.

The answer to your question is obvious. The answer to mine is not quite as clear now, is it? Your question in no way even mirrors mine. Not even as a smart ass attempt at humor. It's not clever, nor does it reflect any proposed "flaw" in my question. I bet you'd have a very tough time explaining how your question functions as a response to mine. I'd like to see you try.
Anyway, Samsung left a track pad out of the design of this phone, making a soft keyboard the only way to arrow up, down, left and right. They also chose not to have the keyboard pop up when long-pressing the menu key, which is a double slap in the face.
Just about every Android phone out there will pop up the soft keyboard when the menu key is held down. Not this beaut. So does anyone have a solution?

The first one was a stretch. This one is simply pathetic. Instead of attempting to explain your first weak shot, you throw another worse one. Brilliant. When people get frustrated and unable to come up with an appropriate response, this is exactly what they do. Relax, pal.

PS3 isn't a "they" and Sony didn't "decide" not to make "their" (not "there") system play Wii games. It wasn't a decision they had a choice in making. You have no idea what you're talking about. Please try again.

The best feature is that it saves your place when returning to the search list, what a PIA it was constantly scrolling back down a few hundred results. Now they just need to let you filter search results by 'free' like on the website.
I had this on my mind since last year.
I'm on GB (FB's VB) and multi select doesn't work, I have to delete one by one or I'm doing it wrong.
Thanks for the announcement.
