but down says can't access to system/cs/att/system i think the cell will no function again please i need help i don't know what to do! odin don't want to work and neither the system recovery
WOW nobody can help me..
If you're having trouble getting ODIN to work to flash back to a safe place, try AdamOutler's One-Click Heimdall to get back to stock without having to use ODIN. All you'll need is to have Java installed on your computer, and to let the one-click install what it needs. Just follow the directions that it gives you, and you should be good to go.
A quick note, though - the one-click will put you back to a stock rom, which means you'll need to push a CWM kernel to the phone (or one of the other fixes) to get rid of the 3e recovery menu.

It's really hard to understand what you are trying to say. Your post makes very little sense in English. Posting your native language might help. We can translate it. But trouble shooting is almost impossible if you can't accurately communicate the problem.
I just realized forum rules say post in English. You might just have to break the rules here. Or pm me in Spanish and I will try to translate it for you.
information is the relevant currency
You haven't given enough information to properly troubleshoot.
Let me try and understand your problem:
You were trying to install this i9000 ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1032599) onto your Captivate
Something didn't work
When you try to boot the phone instead of booting properly it goes to 3e recovery (not CWM)
Is this correct?
Can you get to download mode?
odin don't want to work

What Odin are you using? What is happening when you try to use it? What *exact* steps are you taking?
jmtheiss's suggestion that you can use a heimdall 1-click is a good one. Do that, and you'll be back on stock, with a fully functional phone.
You were trying to load a SGSII ROM ported for the i9000 onto your Captivate (897); Even if it worked, unless you have a different compatible kernel, at minimum your orientation and a couple other items would be wrong.
If you're new to flashing, it's a good idea to stick to ROMs actually ported for your phone: so once you're back to stock, I'd recommend sticking to ROMs you find in the Captivate Dev forum.
If I'm wrong about something let me know--but if you want help, you've got to be specific.

[Q] I need LG P925g Stock rom

Hello,
Recently, i have installed CM7 on my LG P925g and all work perfectly.
But i changed my phone for Samsung Galaxy S2 and i give my old phone for my girlfriend. She doesn't like CM7 and i though it will be more easier for her to get back the Stock rom than CM7.
I did a lot research on the web about this and i can't find anything good.
I find some threads...but with dead links.
Do someone can send me a LG P925g Stock rom that i can flash with CWM with a zip. ?
Or a Backup that i can use with CWM ( zip file )
I hope you could help me please...!!

If i remember correctly you can download and install the lg mobile support tool (http://www.lg.com/us/support-mobile/lg-LGP925G scroll down a bit) write down your imei, (settings>about), then pop out the battery hold volume up and plug the usb cable in, aka download mode, the mobile support tool if you have it running and on the screen will try to look at it don't worry about that, Click on the customer support tab, the bottom item recovery phone, this is where your imei comes in, from there type in the IMEI and check, it should find the stock 20c firmware and from there it may need a few more clicks but you'll restore to stock 20c no custom recovery/root, but completely stock 20c.
Hope it helps, worked for me last time i screwed up lol
I justed registered to say thx!
Same problem here, screwed up and didnt know how to establish a working data connection with the pc..
the hint with the download mode really helped a lot, I didnt know that you had do pop out the battery, hold the volume up button and plug in the usb cable..
You can install any custom rom so there are many ROMs which are very stable and it's like the official rom too much not like the CM7 .. but you MUST do a backup before flash any CWM .zip so how cloud you install CM7 with out do a backup ??

Note Pro 12.2 Soft Bricked - Help

I was able to Root my tablet no problem. But when I went to create a back up it went into download mode and stalled. I tried to reboot and now I can only get int DOWN LOAD or the KieS emergency screen.
I'm rusty on this as I haven't had an Anroid in a while.
How do I fix this?
I down loaded the Unofficial Cyanogen ROM but its a zip file.
Do i need to reload the boot loader also?

You need two things:
1.) Odin 3.09
2.) Firmware for your device model. If it is the United States SM-p900 variant you can grab that here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-pro-12/development/firmware-firmware-t3038178 you will have to unzip it after you download your firmware as the file you need is a tar.md5 file.
Step for Recovery:
1.) Ensure the Samsung USB drivers are installed on your computer
2.) Reboot the tablet into Download Mode, but don't plug it in yet
3.) Open Odin 3.09 and DO NOT CLICK ANYTHING EXCEPT FOR THE "AP" BUTTON which is located under "BL" button on the right side
4.) After you click "AP" you need to point it to the firmware file you downloaded and unzipped
5.) Once you've selected it Odin will freeze for a few seconds while it check the file's integrity; just let it work
6.) In the status window on the left after it finishes checking will say "<OSM> Leave CS..." now you can plug in the tablet
7.) Under ID: COM a box will light up blue and say what COM port your tablet is on if you installed the Samsung drivers
8.) If it is detected ensure that the only two boxes checked are "Auto Reboot" and "F. Reset Time" with "AP" showing the path to your firmware file
9.) If all these things are true, click start and your tablet will be fine after a reboot.
If you have any questions just quote me and I'll do my best to answer them.
Awesome AlkaliV2 it worked like a charm.
Any advise for ROOTING and adding Cyanogen mod ROM?
I tried the Cyanmod Installed but it isn't set up for P900.
Also Clockworkmod recovery doesn't support the P900

I'm running TWRP 2.8.6.0 on my tablet at the moment. You need to grab the recovery from here: http://twrp.me/devices/samsunggalaxynotepro122exynoswifi.html and flash it in Odin the same way you flashed the firmware. However, for support on installing CM12 to this tablet you will need to speak to someone in that thread. I only run Touchwiz ROMs on this device because of the Exynos processors.
Also, so that I know you've responded to me either click the "Reply" button attached to my post so it quotes me or type
@AlkaliV2 to have it alert me that you are writing directly to me. I'm glad you got your tablet working again :good:

The story of why Exynos performs better on Touchwiz is a long one. The shortened version is because Exynos drivers are Samsung proprietary and CM must reverse engineer those drivers for use with our device.
Some will say they see performance loss and other will tell you that pure AOSP ROMs make up for it in being light weight. However, for my purposes (I use my Note 12 to take handwritten notes in class so accuracy is important) I choose to use Samsung software and their drivers. More specifically I use the Hyperdrive ROM for the P900.
My recommendation is: if you are just going to use this mostly as a really large tablet for multimedia then CM would be an excellent choice. However, if you are planning to run intensive games or use the Samsung proprietary features then I recommend a TouchWiz ROM instead since it will include drivers designed for the tablet.
Thanks again you've been very helpful
Where do you find the Touchwix ROM's?

Greetings;
Your Issue: Your issue is related with something that went wrong while flashing something in your device.
You will most likely to solve it by entering CWM and Performing a Clean Flash or Factory Reset.
Follow my Thread for Further Info:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-sl/general/rgxhost-ddlf2-complete-tutorial-t2837212
Just follow the Tutorial like you were going to Flash a new ROM.
I Recommend you to Flash ClockWork ModRecovery in First Place.
Then Backup your System and EFS (Folder and Files) -- If you lose this for some reason, you will be unable to make phonecalls.
If you're missing Drivers:
Download and Install Samsung Kies.
After instlling Kies; put your device under Download Mode, then plug your USB Cable.
This will install the Device Drivers for "Download Mode", and only then Odin will recognize it.
Restart your Computer (Sometimes the Computer will only recognize your Device after Restart).
If you still need help you can contact me through Skype and/or Request a Remote Control so i can try to help you out from here.
(Yes i know this is not "Safe" as you don't know me - But i really just want to help - No hacking, File or Privacy Stealing) -- Scouts Word! :good:
Anyway: I believe my tutorial is pretty much complete and that you will be able to manage it by yourself. Any doubts feel free to Repply to me again.
Recommended ROM's for i9003:
- DDLF2 (For me the Best Gingerbread Rom for this Device - Fast, Almost no Bloatware, and clean).
Note: If you experience Device Restart due to Lacking of RAM, install some application to manage it.
I.E: "Memory Manager" (You can Find it on Google Play) (Just Set to Optimal or Strict)
- Nameless ROM: The most updated Cyanogen 4.x ROM for this Device.
Although you must proceeed with caution, and have a FULL BACKUP (Incl. EFS Backups - The most different ways to backup as possible)
Note: With this ROM you wont have "FM Radio", your Battery will drain Faster; but you will have a incredibly fast 4.x ROM. (This will depend also on some of your tweak skills).
Safe Notes:
- To be safer and away from Bricks then i recommend you to Install either DDLF2 Custom Rom or Stock ROM (You can get Stock Rom's from Sammobile website. If any is unavailable you can request the ROM File(s). They will get it available for you).
I hope you can get it through.
Let us know how it went.
Best Regards;
Richard

Going back versions?
Ok, I'm pretty good on flashing ROMs and using TWRP. But I was thinking of trying a 5.1.1 Rom, I am rooted running just the stock Rom 6.01 currently. I have a SM-N900W8, so I assume I'll likely have to get the modem too depending on what ROM I choose.
My only concern is going backward, I don't know what kernel I might need to flash? Should be able to keep the answer simplistic in explanation, I just need the warnings and a basic checklist of what to do when going backward. And if I can complete this using just TWRP or whether I need to flash something with Odin or whether Flashfire might work.
Thanks in advance. Sorry I'm not a guy who has time to learn code. I try to donate if I'm going to use someone's work though. Just nice to have my phone run fast and smooth and be able to tinker...

Hi
What do you mean by 'going backward'? Do you wanna downgrade your device from Marshmallow to Lollipop? If yes, refer to this thread.

Ok, if going back to a earlier version of Android, then flash the factory full ROM of that version through Odin, then flash custom ROM of same version. Got it, thanks. Sounds like the easiest way.

Stuck N915G
Am using a N915G , it was rooted with CW recovery , since yesterday it would go in restart loop , so i went into recovery and did a reset , still the loop would not go , so i took into a service center they tries kies and it would intall lollipop but half way through it will show " erasing " and then go back to boot loop , now at this point when i re checked the phone there is no CW recovery , so i tried Odin with Marshmallow to flash the system , it shows PASS but during installation " System updating .. erasing " then goes back to reboot so i flashed new set of Pit files , but still the phone stays in boot loop , vibrates then goes off to loop , what am i doing wrong
Won't power on after normal power off.
Hi,
i mean; when i turn of the phone with normal shutdown menu, device power off normally.
But when i attempt to turn on device again, it won't turn on. nothing happens when i press or hold the power button.
only the way to turn on again, "plug a charge cable or usb cable"
after it detects the charge, and shows charging. after then i can turn on the device normal.
but, not possible to turn on without plug the cable once.
so; what can be my device's problem. (there is no another problem) except fast battery drain.
my opinion; humidity damage? or something like that.?
can any oxidation causes this problem?
please reply for help.
thanks.

Sent from my Motorola XT1080 using XDA Labs
Hello, I rooted my Samsung Galaxy Note Edge (N915T) Tmobile way back in 2014, I have since then forgot how to root again. I know that my phone is still rooted because I have SU.
My phone specs right now:
Bootloader: N915TUVU1ANJL
OS Version: KitKat 4.4.4
CPU: ARMv7-A (armeabi-v7a)
Kernel version: 3.10.0-2990579
I saw a post here in XDA about new Custom ROM (7.1.2 AOKP Nougat) and I would like to install custom ROM, and reading the instructions it states that it requires Bootloader 6.0.1 and Modem. I have no idea how to install bootloader and modem up to 6.0.1 on my phone. Kindly please guide me how to identify my current bootloader and how to upgrade up to 6.0.1. Thanks!
Hello,
I am using Odin v3.12.7 and I tried to select (twrp-3.0.2-0-tbltetmo.img) from Odin, but is not selectable because it does not have (.md5) or (.tar), where can I find a TWRP in those file formats?

Corrupt microsdcard and otg devices
Hi,
This is about my note edge N915G and what will follow has strangely happened with every kind of rom for the device stock rooted, aokp, customized stock, and slimroms.
What happens is
scard shows as corrupted after busybox/magisk7viper mods I mean the card is fine when I install busy box and magical and viper then in stall viper drivers and it is still good but when I reboot to activate the viper mods my card shows as corruption. I another thing that happens is when the card shows as corrupt, I I can try another card and still shows corrupt and strangely even the devices I connect through otg all show as corrupt. Ii think it is busy box which is needed for viper that does it, but am not sure.
Another guess is that maybe some embedded file on the phone has been deleted or corrupted and that is causing me the trouble. I have installed the Enhanced rom this evening and had set it up with closed root and magical. I it was all fine. I then I installed busy box using smart install and after that opened viper fx 2.5 and viper xhi=fi and each prompted to install drivers and they installed successfully and advised a reboot. It is after reboot that I opened my music player and found no songs which was be aise it is showing my card as corrupt. I strangely even if I reverse the process and uninstall viper drivers then viper apps and finally busybox it still does not change the status of the card. It is either that I install the rom again dirty or restore a system backup that was made while there were no add ons.
I would really appreciate if anyone can help figure this out as I do have the workaround of restoring system but it is tedious as I have to install all apps etc.
I would like to reiterate that this is not the kind of issue associated with Samsung phones in general where they are said to kill microsdcards. This is not the case and the card works flawlessly in a different phone which I did to check. My laptop too has no issues with same card it is a Samsung evo 64 gb card I'm using. Maybe they key is that even other as cards whether I put them in the card slot or in a card reader for otg it shows any card I use as corrupt and even my otg drives show up as corrupt. I think it is something I have never seen happening yet.
Thanks for reading this and for your suggestions and advice. I will look forward to your thoughts and inputs, knowledge and experience.

At&t Samsung Note Edge N915A 6.0.1
Hi I'm a noob. Last phone I "jailbroke" was a IPhone 3gs. Could you link me in the right direction to root my Samsung note edge from At&t 6.0.1 a list of procedures would be great, also a list of downloads. Anything & Everything I need on my phone or my Laptop to complete the process. All input would be appreciated. I just paid a large chunk of $ to Samsung to have my screen replaced and I am the original owner of my device which I paid a lot of money for in 2014, so I would hate to brick my device. Thanks
