I've been using Desktop VisualizeR w/ ADW on an unrooted original Moto Droid using Froyo 2.2.3
I've read about REDRAW problems, but out of the blue, my DV icons DISAPPEAR completely from the homescreen.
Shutting down & rebooting will get them to come back again but with a delay with ADW responding. Then things seem to be normal again - until it happens again.
I really like the larger Icons w/ DV & hiding the dock w/ ADW.
Does anybody know of a solution for this problem?
Thank you in advance.

Hey everyone. I am using LauncherPro + on my DInc and I recently grabbed Desktop Visualizer and started tinkering with it. My design right now has text icons I placed as Widgets (small) on the homescreen. However when I select one of those widgets I get an orange glow around the size of the widget which is very annoying and throws everything off because I do not have any orange anywhere. I found in the Preferences where you can change the color of an icon that is focused and I changed both the focus and Pressed to black but the box around the widget is still orange. Regular Icons that I add as Shortcuts->Applications are black (the color I set) but these widgets do not change. Is it Desktop Visualizer or is it Launcher Pro +? Any ideas? Thanks

When you're creating your widget in DV scroll to the bottom after picking your Icon and what it Launches
If you don't want it to label your widget for you - delete what's in the Label spot
To change the color when you touch it - all the way at the bottom is Touch Effect (it defaults to Orange - the button even says that) click on the button and choose Orange, Light Blue, Green, or None (I always pick none)
I can't seem to remove the blue line and settings button above it, which are at the top of my screen when using adw ex on ics (slim build dated 20 Feb). I've followed the directions from this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1494521
but they don't work for me. Also tried asserting a feature to do it but to no avail. But what does happen is when I use the button or gesture to hide the status bar while it stays, when I press the menu button the menu options appear with 2/3 of it disappeared off the screen. I prefer adw as it has more useable screen realestate rather than just the square area for widget placement you get using trebuchet. Are others finding the same thing? Any fixes?
And while I'm asking, if I can't remove the status bar, is there any way I can place some other things in there? Like add the open apps button in there? I can't seem to find a way.
I guess I'm trying to make the top of my screen similar to the first image you see when you look at adw launcher ex on the Android market.

Same issue here. I have tried using the hide status bar shortcut but it does nothing. The blue line is driving me crazy to the point of not even using adw.
add me to the list.. having this issue on a couple of my devices.. I think the blue line/bar is called a "action bar" not a status bar? but i dont have the option to hide the action bar as some threads describe.. such a waste of precious desktop space.. if i find a fix ill post back..

Try in rom control- battery. I only had blue line and not those buttons. Anyway I changed the colour to black to match my home screen. The line just represented the battery on mine
If your on a ICS from then you need to change DPi to 120 or else ADW thinks its on a phone. Don't use ADW anymore since Nova and Apex since both are HW a celled and last time I checked ADW is not.

I use ADW Launcher and Widgetlocker on my Verizon Inc 4g lte.
I can lock the taskbar on widgetlocker so that it can't be pulled down on the lock screen.
But I can't find an option to do it in adw launcher on my homescreen (only to hide it).
Can someone tell me where I can get an app that will prevent the taskbar from being pulled down?
Because I still want to see it, just not be able to pull it down (just like I can't in the lock screen).
Thanks for any help you can offer.
Does anyone know a way or have a solution as to how to edit or even disable the stock lockscreen clock.
I've even tried freezing stock clock app and making a third party clock app a system app with titanium backup.
I see no settings in lockscreen area for it or in clock app either. I'm out of ideas.
Are you talking about the circle clock widget on the lock screen? You can enable widgets and then remove it and add another
I get tired of it myself at times and just want a background. I enable lockscreen widgets, at the lock screen put my finger on the clock and pull down. The lockring will appear at the bottom. You know you've maximized the widget now. Now long press and slide it to remove at too. The + will appear add blank Zooper widget any size. Voilà!

Hi there,
I have been using Nova launcher for years without problems. Yesterday I bought a Galaxy S9 +, and of course I also installed Nova launcher. But I have a problem with changing the icon of the application drawer on the dock. I can change the icon, but if I confirm, the icon does not change. It always remains the stock icon. I can change the other icons in the dock without any problem. Only that of the application drawer can not change. It makes me crazy because I have always been able to change this on my previous smartphones. Can someone help me?
Thanks!
