its carier unlocked BUT i have all the vodafone stuff and boot logo
i need a rom,a clean rom so i can remove and get the default HTC rom.
i want to flash "RUU_Pyramid_HTC_Europe_1.50.401.1_Radio_10.56.9035.00U_10.14.9035.01_M_release_223042_signed.exe" but i cant download it from the pyramid.. it says no slots ,need a mirror if this rom is good for me ?!
my phone is :
"pyramid pvt ship s-on rl" (i know its s-on...ill remove it soon)
"hboot-1.18.0000"
"emmc-boot"

Dude, unlock the phone, S-off, supercid, permaroot and clockwork and then install any rom you want. The guide in the forum is very simple and easy to use.

You need to s off and super CID to flash your phone with ANY ruu. It's the only method to debrand your phone as you so wish to do.

CID - Carrier IDentification, it's restricts which software can be installed on a phone. SuperCID is a universal CID where the phone will accept any kind of firmware image from anyone.
SuperCID is necessary only for flashing RUU's from different regions. You don't need a SuperCID to flash a custom ROM's

With the latest leaked ics ruu that's made into a custom Rom yes you would need super cid in order to flash the firmware for the custom rom to boot properly and run.

I was not trying to be an ass. So if i hurt your feelings i am sorry. Your question though could easily be answered just by simply searching the forums. It would have benefited you because you would have learnt yourself and its less clutter on the forum.
Take this post for example. He wants answers to a problem that has a whole guide telling him how to do it. He just hasn't bothered to search.
Again sorry for coming across as an ass.
Just as an extra bit of info for you. I am currently supercid and running the new firmware. The touchscreen recovery looks really good and Mikes ARHD 6.0.0 is running really smooth on my phone. No lags or fcs to date.

Which roms are ok to install??

I have s-on with hboot 1.27 and ICS unlocked thru HTC dev site rooted and 4ext recovery I was just wondering how do I know which roms I can install I think the firmware has to be the same as mine which is 3.32.xx how do I know which ones have this firmware. I'm looking to try a sense 4 or plain aosp Rom any suggestions on which is good thanx for any help

Thanx I've been trying to figure that out all night I'm glad I can use Sense 4 is there something specific I have to do as far as flashing I'm on latest 4ext recovery
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using xda premium
You could just follow: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1614617
Then you'd have full S-OFF, then any ROM you like )
Here are some RUUs you could try, including 3.33. Depends if your CID is "HTC__001" or SuperCID I guess.

Enable smart flash (4EXT - tools) just before flashing the ROM.. That will mostly do..
If you have wifi issues/not booting.. Then do the extra1 step from asskickers Flashing roms with SON guide.
If the wifi still persists after that too.. Then re flash the rom again.. Without any wipe this time.. But need to enable smart flash this time too before flashing the rom..

All the custom ROMs OP will detail the pre-requisites r.e. firmware. Make sure you read them.
I would still advise you go get full S-OFF if you can, I've recently done it on 1.27.0000 and the paper clip hack was a little bit of a pain to get the timing right but it did work. It makes life much simpler. You could then, for example, downgrade if required
NOTE: currently HBOOT 1.29.0000 cannot be S-OFF'd so do it while you can.

Fair enough, if I'm wrong I'm sorry. I had read somewhere that 1.29.0000 had issues being S-OFF'd and 1.27.0000 was the most recent one that could. Guess the information I based my statement on was wrong.

S-on or S-off

I have an sensation and i am ***UNLOCKED*** HBOOT 1.27.0000 Pyramid S-ON
I have tried to flash new kernels. I reboot in recovery and flash without errors. But when started up i still have the same kernel.
Should i do S-off ? and how ? or what could be the problem ? I have been reading this forum, but my brain is overloaded now.
Any tips for me ? I am running Viper 1.2.1 but i get no wifi so i guess i have to change kernel and radio.....

I'm very glad I did the procedure! I'd definitely vote for s off. It's well worth the " trouble"!

But what I'm sure about you have to root it again and lost OTA update

If it says s-off and bootloader unlocked then you are good to go pal if your bootloader is locked then flash the jupuntobear hboot or the universal 3.33 firmware so that your hboot is unlocked without HTC's warranty nonsense and readreadread before you flash
