I have a back up of a large apn list from a desire rom that may have them.
Download the zip and extract it to the root of your sd card. In the folder is the app, install it. Now go to the app and get it to restore the list and then see if you have it in your apn setting's

Also, check this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=32573966#post32573966
Try installing htc sync manager. Not sure if you need adb for flashing RUU. But if needed, run 'adb devices' to check if your device is recognized.
I have searched everywhere but I can't find an answer, I have my drivers installed and I'm trying to root my phone but I can't get the cid 111111 because its stuck on "getting cid, waiting for device". Can anyone help? I just got my att one x 4 hours ago literally. Thanks.
Edit: I have found the solution, if anybody get stuck like i was, uninstall whatever htc drivers you have and download htc sync, it worked perfectly and im using windows 8. Make sure that htc manager isnt running. Peace!

Yes I am, it prompts me to do it twice and I do. Then my phone reboots in bootloader mode and I press enter again to get the 111111 but it stay stuck at "getting cid, waiting for device"

Try using a different port or reinstalling the drivers.

I'm assuming you have HTC sink manager as well?? If so completely disable, or uninstall HTC sync manager, it will cause problems..
Also make sure usb- debugging is enabled on the phone.

Try a different USB cable. If it isn't the one that came with Phone, some 3rd party cables suck.

Thanks for the reply guys, USB debugging IS enabled and I'm using the OEM USB cable.
I was hoping that HTC sync was the issue, but it isn't installed on my computer. So I'm not sure what's wrong really. I'm using windows 8 but the computer recognise my phone when I ran the command for the cid so the drivers are definitely installed. I've tried uninstalling them and then reinstalling but still, not any luck....
Try hard resetting the phone for the hell of it and try again....
Windows 8 might be the problem
Sent from my One X using Tapatalk 2
i too have windows 8 and I went through the same thing. maybe try installing htc sync it worked for me since you basically need the adb and fastboot driver, not just the phone driver
Try this

Use the Universal Naked Driver, it works best for all my devices, even adb on Windows 8, which wasn't working before.

pretty common....working solution for me was :
[exact procedure step by step] -
make sure u have htc sync in PC.
connect your fone to pc. select "internet pass-through"
right click "computer" go to manage -->device manager-->in network adaptor, u must see some "htc related" driver(remote NDIS).
click it-->uninstall.
.
now, click on "Action" (top menu bar) and click scan for hardware changes.
HTC will automatic install few drivers. try surfing net on cell...it shud be doing fine now.
net not working
hey dude

Same to me and here is my solution:
Uninstall the HTC Sync from PC.
Then, download and install HTC Sync Manager.
Work like a charm.
After installing new HTC Sync, still this problem persists, then change the USB cable.
