use memory hack for more space.

Enter Recovery Mode by holding POWER + HOME;
With the Volume Down key (-) and High Volume (+) and navigate to the HOME key Select "advanced";
Select "partition SD Card"
In the next window you should choose the partition size.
If you have a 2GB card to advise you put 512mb 1024mb,
If you have a card with 4GB or 8GB advise putting 2048mb.
And finally select the size of the swap partition for extra memory.
If you have an urge to put 2gb card 128mb,
If you have a card with 4GB or 8GB advise putting 256mb.
enter the Market and install the program Links2SD
to open the program you should choose ext3 and press ok> then superuser permission> and after that restart your phone.
Now press the Options button to display the sub-menu of the program
Made this to take and check the settings, and automatically link-site check in'' automatically''.
Now press the Options button to display the sub-menu of the program.
Made this to take and check the settings, and automatically link-site check in'' automatically''.
Return to initial screen of the program, press the Options button to display the sub-menu and then click multiple selection, press the shutter button and select options select all, press again press the options button and click Actions, and click Create link. Press OK to start, and all your applications ready to go to memory that was created ext3.

increase phone memory?
I think you cant do that,
But you can try A2SD or A2SD+
By that way install the APP into SD
Hope can help you!
you can create two partitions on your sd card and use one of the partitions as sd-ext memory which will essentially replace your phone memory.

SD Partion Help?

I'm don't have much knowledge in Ext4 and partitioning my SD but I read a thread and know what it does and what the benifits are. But I have a problem with it. Firstly making the sd-ext. When I did this last night within CWM and when I rebooted my device my SD had been erased. That was a rough loss with a 16gb SD. Now in my settings it says my SD is a FBI short of storage but my internal has not changed. I tried to use Mount2SD to install a script to make internal storage increase. But it doesn't work. What am I doing wrong to not be able to use the benifits of ext4. I'm running Valhalla Black Edition, with Lightning Zap tweak. I would greatly appreciate any help with this issue. If I can't get the benifits I would atleast like to be able to remove the sd-ext partion. I tried that as well with CWM format sdcard

Install link2sd into phone. From playstore
Download mini partition tool to your pc.
Back up sd card to pc using a card reader.
Open mini partition tool.
Remember: NOTHING IS CHANGED LOST OR MADE UNTIL YOU PRESS "APPLY" AT TOP LEFT.
Carefully select your sd card. If you so this wrong you could wipe/crash c: drive. It is probably F : or G :
On the left side of the partition tool select "delete all partitions" from operations. This wipes everything on sd card!
Next select "create partition". Name it if you want. Make this a Primary and Fat32
Now decrease size of allocated space with arrows, making the unallocated space about 1gig. It can be less or more, but between 500mb and 2gigs is best.
Next select the unallocated partitition you made when you made the Primary allocated partition. Once it is selected, press "create partition" again from the left.
You don't have to name it, but you can. Now make this unallocated partition a Primary Ext2 partition. Note: you can select any of the options, ext 2 or 4 or 3 or even fat32. Ext 2 worked best for me, as far as everything functioning and seeing the storage on phone. (Windows won't see more than one primary partition in Start/Computer but it will be there.)
If you think it is all correct, press "apply" at top left.
You did it!
Safely remove your sd from reader...you should press eject/safely remove from f: in start/computer
Replace sd in phone and boot up. Wait until your sd card is all mounted and prepared...you will see it cycle a few times at top of screen.
Open link2sd. Select the type of partition. Mine was ext 2.
Reboot after it says mount script created.
Open Link2sd... You should select auto link.
See the memory you added in "storage info".
The system memory a will appear unchanged, but you will see the new partition increase as you add more apps to sd card. I don' t recommend moving system apps.

[Tutorial] Expand the system memory of the smartphone (DEFY MINI)

Expand the system memory of the smartphone (DEFY MINI)
Introduction:
1. Would take Root-Law (superuser)
2. Variant with DirectoryBind not roll.
Why?
Not roll because the program is not all system folders, unlike the conductor (eg ES File Explorer), you can get to see the folders on which you want to make the link, but it works before the first restart smartphone. (DirectoryBind 0.2.0)
3. Require: a program for smartphone Link2SD, software for PC (Windows) MiniTool ® Partition Wizard (Home), and of course the USB cable or card reader.
4. The memory card will be formatted, so save all your personal data.
Let's start:
Creating a second partition on the SD card
1. Installed on your PC MiniTool ® Partition Wizard (Home) (if not already installed).
2. Connect your phone to the computer via USB cable, then select the USB drive mode or put the memory card into a card reader.
3. Run MiniTool ® Partition Wizard.
4. Find our memory card and delete the partition by pressing the item "Delete" from the context menu.
5. Next, click click "Create" on the unallocated space of the memory card.
6. First create partitions of type FAT/FAT32, that will store your normal data type of pictures, music and any file. This section will suit your needs.
For this paragraph "File System", select the type FAT32 or FAT (if memory cards are less than 2 gigabytes Vuh), "Create As" select the item Primary.
In paragraph "Drive Letter" is assigned the letter volume (it's a local drive letter, etc.). Also in the column "Partition Label" can enter a name (label) to your topic. I called for example "MOTO_DATA".
After paragraph "Partition Size" choose the size of our section and click "OK"
(unallocated area in the future will be a swarm of 2-section, the second section of the size principle does not matter, I have created a 512MB and 1024MB (1GB) normal flight, it all depends on your memory card size)
7. Create a second partition. Similarly, click the item "Create" on the unallocated space and create maps section, which will be stored transferred to sd-card application.
It may pop up a warning window, safely click "OK" and go on.
But now, in the column "File System", select the type EXT2 or EXT3 (I personally choose EXT3)
In paragraph "Create As" again select Primary, if we want to inscribe the name-tag and the size of the partition is the remainder of the card. And click "OK".
8. Now click in the upper left corner of the "Apply" button and agree to the changes.
9. If successful successfully come out the window with the text "Apply all the pending changes successfully".
All the second section is created, disable the smartphone from the PC and restart it.
Using Link2SD
1. Install Link2SD on your smartphone.
2. Reboot your smartphone.
3. Run Link2SD. (if prompted to format 2 swarm section, agree)
4. Choose from the list the program that wishes to refer to the second section, click the "exiled", select 3-ri tick (if possible, apk file \ dalvik-cache files \ lib files), click "OK"
Note to Link2SD
1. Not all system applications can be referenced in the second Radel. (you have it just can not be done)
2. Even if the application can be moved to SD card (through control of the application), the application cache has been transferred over, and hence its need to refer to the second section, but together with the cache. Example: UC Browser - if you just move to the SD card, then the robot in the browser, the phone memory will simply disappear, such programs should be referred to the second partition with cache (dalvik-cache).
That's how u expand internal memory !! Not system memory :banghead:

[TUT] [NOOB FRIENDLY] The Ultimate Guide to Link2SD

Android being an open source OS, offers limitless possibilities of optimization and customization as per your requirements. But, half the charm of an Android phone lies in the root-based apps, beautiful mods and patches, and custom ROMs. If you have not rooted your phone yet, believe me you are not getting the most out of it. Rooting offers many advantages indeed but, at the same time it is also a little risky as it breaks into the wall of security build by the operating system.
According to a survey, 80% of Android phone users live happy with an unrooted device and the reasons for this are various- some people think of it as a sort of criminal activity, some are afraid of losing warranty, some are afraid of bricking their phone, while most people do not even know about the existence of a term like “rooting”.
Most people root their phones to get rid of pre installed bloats and gapps which they don't need at all ! ! But why??
They just wanna have more free internal storage. Many of the android users haven't heard of Link2SD ! So, I am here to tell you everything about this awesome app.
Android is one of the most used and popular operating system for the mobile.Day by day several new apps are getting available for the android devices, but your limited internal memory restricts it to the certain limit.Old Android phones have internal memory around 200 to 300 MB (Mega Bytes) unlike the latest one which have in few GB (Giga Bytes). Due to this limited memory, you cannot install more apps. This problem can be overcome by increasing internal memory of your mobile. This is absolutely true that no way to increase internal storage size of your phones, but you can allocate some part of your memory card for your phone to install applications.
This app will help you to link some part of your external SD card storage(whatever amount you want, no restrictions) to the internal storage of your phone. Apps and Games will be linked to that external SD card storage helping you to protect your internal storage from being used.
Believe me, I use Moto E which comes with 2.2 GB user available internal storage. I have 32 GB external SD card and I have linked 20 GB of it to my internal storage.
Now, I have 242 apps n games installed and still have 1.8 GB internal storage free. Apps like app2SD, appmgr have certain limitations as they move only some part of application files only whereas Link2SD links everything (app, cache, data) allowing you to install a large number of apps and games even if your phone have lesser internal storage. Isn't it cool ? ?
It is cool but to be able to use Link2SD you will have to do some steps. Many people don't know what to do after installing this app and that's why they complain it as an useless app. But believe me, it is a great app
Enough talking, let get to work ! !
Pre-Requisites:
1. Phone should be rooted. There are many methods available to root your phone.
2. You need a windows Pc and a card reader.
3. You must take a backup of your memory card on your computer as all the data will be deleted during this process.
4. Download and install Partition Tool to your computer. The link is
http://www.partitionwizard.com/free-partition-manager.html
5. Downloaded Link2SD app from Google play store. You will get it easily.
Steps:
1. Take backup of your memory card on your computer.
2. Remove your SD card from your Mobile and insert it in your computer using card reader for making partition. Never use USB cable for this.
3. Download and install Partition Tool from the above link. Run this partition tool and select MiniTool Partition Wizard.
4. You will see the different drives and disks of your pc. Identify your memory card, right click on it and select delete. It will delete the entire contents of your memory card.
5. Now, you will see your memory card showing unallocated space. Now, right click on your memory card and select create.
6. Select primary in it. If your card storage is more than 2 GB, then select FAT32 file system otherwise select FAT file system.
7. Enter the amount of space which you don't want to link with internal storage. You can use this space for storing music, videos and other files. Your pc and mobile will recognise this space only as your external storage. So, choose wisely. I had 32 GB memory card(29.4 user available). I wanted to link 20 GB to my internal storage. So, I entered the remaining 9.4 GB in partition size.
8. After entering the partition size, click OK. Now, you will see the remaining space as unallocated. Right click on it and select Create. Create as primary and ext2 file system, select the remaining size. This size will be linked to the internal storage. Click OK.
You must select primary in both the partitions.
9. Now, click on the apply button on left corner menu. It will take sometimes to create partition. You will get a message showing that the partition is successful.
10. Now, copy your backup data to your memory card and take out your memory card from card reader and insert it in your phone.
11. Start your phone. Download link2sd app from Play Store. Install it and open. It will ask you to grant root permission, grant it. On opening, you will see a tab asking you to select the file system of your second partition, choose ext2. If you do not get the tab, then in Link2SD app, go to menu and click on RECREATE MOUNT SCRIPTS and select the file system of your second partition, choose ext2.
12. Now, it will ask you to reboot, select OK. If you have done 2 partition of your card and both as primary. Then, it will link the ext2 partition to your internal storage.
13. After reboot, open Link2SD app. You will see a funnel type icon, click on it and choose internal. It will show the apps which are stored in internal memory of your phone. Click on the option key and select "multi-select", press select all option. All the apps will be selected.
14. Then click on option key, choose option and select "create link" and select all options.
15. If you will pay 2$ for Link2SD plus app, then you will have the option of linking app data. Otherwise, choose the first three options.
16. Link2SD will link all these apps to the secondary partition of your SD card and your internal storage will be increased. That is it.
Note: You can use Link2SD app to uninstall pre-installed apps, move apps to SD card. You should select AUTO LINK option in settings, it will automatically link new apps to SD card. You can select INSTALL LOCATION. I must say, you should pay 2$ for Link2SD plus. It will link all app data to ext2.
Don’t be shy and leave any questions.
Thank You. Have a smiling Day
Hit thanks, if helped :good:
