[Q] Android on Samsung 1st generation - Windows Phone 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi bros. Magldr had been released. We can flash android on htc phones. Now magldr had been released for samsung 1st generations. I have a samsung omnia 7. Now this is the question: is it possible to flash android on omnia 7 ? What do you think about it? How long will we wait for it? Thanks.

The problem is not to install magldr the to have a compatible rom, android is linuxbased while wp7 isn´t so if they´ll get to run linuxbase of android correct it´ll be able to run android especially therefore that Omnia has some androidbrothers like the 1.Gen Galaxy´s

well. this is a good new then we will wait....

deleting samsung omnia 2 interface for good

Hi. Is it possible to delete the samsung omnia 2 operating system ans stuff they put it on the phone and have a new clean OS, like android, or a clean HTC D2 kind of OS.
Thank you
The Omnia II stock runs WM6.1 I believe. I don't think there is currently an Android port in development at the moment.
You can put a new version of Windows Mobile by flashing the rom, go ask at the Omnia II forum for information, I don't know the details for that device.

Install pure Android on table or phone?

Hi there,
just got a question: Is it possible to flash every Android version to every device? I mean, for example: having a HTC Desire which probably does not get the update to Android 2.3. Would it be possible to install a pure and clean Android version from Google (accepting not having Sense)?
The question arose because I was interested in the Motorola Xoom tablet. However, we know, Motorola very often have serious problems with delivering updates, right? So, I just asked myself if I could install an Android update even if Motorola does not offer a special update.
Thanks!
People in the android forum will cook some stuff up for it. And I am sure they will cook a 2.3 to the desire. I have 2.2 on my CDMA Desire in the states and it hasn't even been released yet. So, I am sure that it will be done. No worries. And Motorola has kept the droid up to date I don't see why they wouldn't keep the XOOM up to date like the droid.
Sorry for my english. Nice question.
It is possible to install a pure Android, just like those that exist in the SDK in the devices? I own a Motorola Backflip(MB300) this idea occurred to me when I was customizing a ROM. It's possible ?
