[Q] how to stop system update in xoom?pls!

my xoom on tiamat 2.2.1 , pls who can tell me how to stop auto system update by offcical motorola ?

this should be in the q&a section, but flash mod pack 3 from the tiamat thread

wow no thanx... I am seeing a lot of this people asking questions then never checking their threads for answers... let alone at least a little thank you... People wonder why they get blasted and told to use google... There are threads and threads of this issue but he could not find one so started a new thread asked a question got an answer and never showed up again....
Quite sure when he does show up he will say something about my post....lol

[Q] Problems on Android Revolution Rom

I have Android revolution rom istalled on my galaxy sl 2.3.5 xxkpm .
But when i open the market it keeps closes every time . Pls help . I went and saw many people have this problem.
One more thing can i remove a custom rom after installing it ? If yes How ?

OP - Be sure to post in the correct section. If you are having problems with a particular rom, please post it in that roms section so other users that are using it/have used it may help. There is a Q & A section also located here

Other members - Try and be a little more polite. XDA is a great place for info and lets not try to scare a noob away. You never know, that noob may one day be the next great dev for you guys. I9003 camera problem!

Ok so my last thread got me nowhare so im going to star a new on with more details(To view the previous one click the link at the end).
Ok so the waranty is gone cuz its second hand.
I took the phone to realy good mechanic,who knows his way around a phone like a fish in water,any way he cant find where the problem is.
He got another camera of a nother i9003 and it didnt work.
Please post anything you can think is wrong with it,where to look to fix the problem and possible solutions.

This is definitely not the pace to POST a QUESTION ! its a DEVELOPMENT SECTION !!! u should ask this in general section and be prepared to b shouted at ! this community members get dam pissed off easily and next time use google and read before posting

Try wiping data from cwm. General section please. I don't see how android dev section is for asking questions. Is it that ambiguous?

For this kind of things you should go to the main forum of Samsung Galaxy SL i9003 and then to Galaxy SL i9003 Themes and Apps instead of Galaxy SL i9003 Android Development.
Also, before posting, search within the forum, because normally someone has already asked something about cameras, or other stuff, and you´ll find answers there.
To be able to solve your problem you should check which rom version do you have, because if you are in froyo and you put a gingerbread camera, it probably won´t work.

Maybe there needs to be a thread that defines what issues are for devs and which are not.. For special cases like this.. Sometimes we noobs think our questions are sophisticated enough to qualify as a dev question.. Coz.. we're noobs..

hey i think this is a lib issue or a hardware prob...
but first why don't you install an aftermarket camera app from the market and see weather it is working or not..

if any of those app work on ur phone then it's definately a rom problem i will help you
if those don't work then i will give u a flashable update.zip and if after that ur camera does'nt work then it's a hardware prob for sure..

First - Show little respect for developers & forum! Creating empty threads & even if it in GENERAL leads to thread locked/deleted.
Second - Creating threads about ROM problem will not help it solved... Pst it in ROM thread.
Third - Your probem is already known in all custom ROM's, so it can't be solved for now...
I suggest you read forum rules...

At least you can show a little respect... our devs are working very hard to keep the a2 alive ...give them some time to resolve matters... and dont make a seperate thread just to ask the devs to fix a bug ...it really irritates them... please keep the a2 forum clean...stop posting like this even if your new...

[Q] Switching from Mazel II to GB or any other STABLE ROM. Kindly advice

HI everyone
Have been using Mazel II ROM for a bit. Have been facing a peculiar problem. while in stand by state I have noticed that calls sometimes (very random) do get through. Person calling gets all the normal rings but I do not receive the calls. Also games stutter after switching over from GB
Really irritating. I was planning to switch over to stock GB ROM. Kindly suggest which ROM should I go in for ??
Also what should be the ideal method to so. I read in the FAQ's that I should flash a stock GB/ICS ROM according to me requirements through ODIN but an user was facing an issue with the same mentioned in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1884872&highlight=downgrade. This has left me confused & therefore had to create this thread.

P.S. Kindly do suggest a STABLE ROM. Nothing else as such is a priority apart from it.

I have searched around quite a bit and could not find a single straightforward reply. Most of them end with the device ending in bootloops. I suppose this topic i.e. How to switch over from ICS to GB safely must made sticky as well & that would help a lot of users here.
Hope that solves the issue. Any help would be appreciated though

OK try this..
1. Flash GB using Odin.
2. Boot into recovery.
3. Wipe data, cache & dalvik.
4. reboot.
