Andftp – A usefull FTP browser and file browser.
Andie Graph – A TI calculator emulator. You need the TI rom’s to use it.
Antennas – Find where the cell towers are in your area. Kind of cool.
AppSaver - Easy install apps from your SDcard, Quick save apps to SDCard, Quick uninstall apps you dislike.
ASTRO file manager – The file browser that did not come with your phone.
Battery Monitor Widget - monitors Battery Use in every possible way you can imagine and more.
ASTRO Bluetooth add on – share files via Bluetooth.
Audiogalaxy - Superb music streaming app. Install the server software on your PC or NAS and have all of YOUR music all the time. AG > Google Music for me, don't want to know what Google would charge me to host my 320g in the 'cloud'.
AudioManager/AudioManager Pro - Customizable audio control app. Set different levels for everything - ringtones, media, alerts, etc... then save profiles. Makes switching them up super simple with shortcuts on the home screen.
Barcode Scanner – Check if the prices are good at the store.
BASSWAR – check if your bass is in tune. Just a tone generator.
Blade Buddy - Blade Buddy Free (Ad-supported version) allows you go edit various system settings on your Android Device. Some functions don’t work if you haven’t rooted your phone.
Box.net - online storage (up to 5 gb free)

Tools: Go sms pro, go launcher ex, both free and good I dont know if the best but at least im happy with it.

I just wait about ten minutes and let the phone situate itself then go into app manager and close down anything I won't be using for awhile and jump on a game or the internet also XDA app. I use the internet more than calls or messages.

I had screenshot it, but now im checking out drocap2. lets see how that is.

App kiler is completly useless btw we have taskmangaer and a level 2 memory clear does the task better

I use process monitor, works pretty good. Heres another app I just ran into, Elixir. Its kind of like power control plus but has more options for battery current, wifi signal strength, carrier signal strength, cpu, ram, and much more. check it out, its pretty cool.

I had drag racing it was fun but had to.deleted didnt run very smooth always lagging and stuff how is it running for you?

Even though I use emulators (gba & psone), I am currently enjoying three simple android games that are a great way to kill time:

Irunner.

Couldn't find any thread like this here so I am posting it.

QuicKPic -- Because stock Gallery just sucks so bad.
Ghost Commander -- Every OS needs a file manager, and this is one of the best. Great for rooters, too!
Wuala -- Like Dropbox, but with decent security features.
Android Central app -- Duh! Keep up with your fav devices and Android rumors on the go.
Hacker's Keyboard -- Awesome general purpose keyboard. Extra-must-haavy if you are on a tablet.

4.Scan Media-simply runs the phones media scanner which I was astonished that really the only way to do this (at least with my phone) was by unmounting and remounting the sd card you have to do this sometimes especially if u download something after you turn on your phone some applications won't find the media unless you do this

13.Viber- you can use it to make voice calls over the internet yes you can use it to make FREE calls over the internet the call quality is great (much better than regular calls) as long as you have a good connection it also doubles as a messaging app though no where near as full featured as whatsapp the main draw is that messages pop right up on the screen so you can reply without actually entering the app

What about security apps ? Id like to nominate Avast! as THE best mobile security app ever.
It can do a whole range of things, Including remote lock & wipe, Activating a siren and on screen message (custom message) It also has tracking features and will inform you if the sim is changed.
It scans every new installed app for malware and viruses and also has web privacy protection against dodgy phishing sites. It also has anti-theft feature (requires root) which will install the app and data into the system so that it will survive a full wipe !!
Ive just been having a little play with it via the Avast! website... And best of all.... ITS FREE !!!
I'd say this is a must have app ! the first thing that should be installed on any android device.

What about SoundHound? Cool apps and their database is huge. Mostly all songs it captured can tell the name as well as the lyric.

Top 10 Apps you cannot live without !?

In the spirit of a similar thread in the S2 forum , i decided to create this one where we will all share the top 10 applications that we find to be indispensable , this should be a great way to discover some new apps .
My top 10 apps , in no particular order are and with a short description :
Tapatalk : this is a forum app which i think is free now
Dolphin browser : well i prefer this browser over the chrome one , as chrome does not give you the ability to specify handler for certain events , such as which download manager to use , etc , etc ....
Pulse : i find it the best source to keep up to date with tech news
Whatsapp : well this is a great app for instant messaging
Mxplayer : this is a video player
Winamp : music player
Webkey : remotely managing your phone .
Greenify : excellent app to save your battery life
Adaway : No more ads
GMD Gesture control : you can create custom gestures , i especially wanted the pinch to close
