i'd love to hear how this goes. 4g is the only thing i can really do without. need fully functional camera/video, and i've heard that evo ICS builds are struggling (and may always, as HTC doesn't have the evo on it's update list, which means no drivers coming)
Well, the gapps that I got on the site didn't work through bootmanager. Tried twice and verified that the MD5 matched.

Strange, because I've had no problems flashing gapps for 3 other ICS rom's using bootmanager.
I suppose I'll try a normal flash.

Go to Rom Control and than go to the power menu options and click show screenshot. After that just hold down the power button and it'll give you the option

Sorry not to mention it before but this build is only made for CyanogenMod 7 RC2 but we will have RC4 out soon and keep up with the ROMs progression...

We will have a way better website up probably in the beginning of next week (ran into some problems) which will provide a way to take requests and keep a tally. I won't promise that we will cover that ROM but It is a good possibility, thanks for your intrest :]

We just updated the website and if you want to send us a request for a port just fill out the contact form on the last page saying which rom you want us to port it to. Please include the link to the rom. Once we get enough requests for certain roms we'll make a port.

The main thing that concerns me at present is data and being able to make calls. So if it doesn't find network try to search for network and/or enter APN manually. I will need logcats of this stuff (if it isn't working) to try and determine the cause and how to fix. Thanks for everyone's help on this.

video is choppy, it skips like its in slow-mo
Very interesting. Never had the opportunity to use AOKP before.
Initial impressions for those that are curious:
Rom seems to run pretty smooth. Was cool seeing everything this rom is capable of.
Data and Phone network aren't working atm
GPS also isn't working.
Wifi works, but the browser crashes. I was only able to test by connection to market.
Rom Control (the AOKP specific settings) seems to crash with most settings.
There's some other visual oddities, but nothing severe.

Tried to manually create an APN and it didn't save, going to look at getting some logcats now.

So AC3 is coming out after AC4.
Here is why:
AC3 I really want to have aroma on, it is CM7 based, and I really want AC3 to be my last update for the CM7 base ROM.
AC4 is based on MIUI.us ICS ROM
Download here (Blog link)
Install:
(Put the download on the root of your SDCard.)
**WARNING INSTALL AT OWN RISK
Installing 4KCM7 A4 ROM:
This will be the same for any of my ROM's unless otherwise stated.
Step 1: Reboot your Evo into recovery mode
Step 2: Select Data Wipe/Factory Data Reset
Step 3: Select Install zip from SDCard
Step 4: Select The Rom you downloaded
Step 5: Patience
Step 6: When it is done flashing, reboot.
There you go folks, 4KMod is now flashed to your phone.
Please post or email or PM me at [email protected] forums any bugs you find.

Unforgivably, No i do not have any of that, my personal beta tester Mr. Scott, will be sending me the info (he is the one with the Evo not me, I just develop.)
I'm downloading it now and will take it through the hoops and get some screen shots out.

New developer is welcome.
I flashed this rom and never got past the boot screen, more than 15 mins. I tried doing a clean install, meaning I wiped everything.
That's weird it works on mine perfectly

Make sure your not flashing any other kernels. Also we used twrp 2.5 and 4.18 bootloader. Try with these instructions

I'm able to boot up now. I had to switch to TWRP. When I try to make a call, I get a pop up saying "Mobile network not available." Is there a setting that must be turned on to make the call feature work?

What do you mean, make sure you are on the WiFi version? Your DL link only takes you to the file DL. There is no option to select. I think you have a bit of work to do.

There is a WiFi nexus 7 and a 4G nexus 7 .This thread is posted on the WiFi nexus thread. Just reminding them that this is for the WiFi nexus 7 because that's what we tested with.
