Everytime I make a phone call, the screen goes black for a while, the phone becomes frozen, then it appeared that the phone app has been force closed. The issue sometimes repeats with Messaging as well. I'm running Zeus 5.1, you guys know any idea how to fix the problem? Thank you
Is there anybody here who can help?

Hi everyone,
I searched before I posted, but couldn't find a similar issue.
I'm running Cognition 3.04, and touch input seems to freeze up. If I let the screen go to 'sleep' and unlock the phone it will work for a few seconds, then start freezing again. Sometimes I can just wait a couple seconds and it will accept input. Even after a reboot, it will start this behavior after a few minutes.
The issue goes away when I go back to stock 2.1, though.
I realize the obvious solution is to stay with stock, but I was just curious if anyone else had experienced this and knew of a better solution (who wants to be on stock).
Thanks in advance.
That has happened to me before. Went away with a fresh flash and wipe of cache.

You didn't restore system data when you flashed this, did you?

Do you have any over/underclock settings applied? Are there are any voltage settings that you find?

The first time I flashed, I did that which I later realized to be a huge mistake. When this issue started, I flashed back to stock did a master clear and reflashed Cog, but the issue remains. Is there some step I missed in clearing out the old stuff?
This happens to me in swype occasionally. Super annoying bc it thinks I am taking my finger off the screen when I am not causing swype to be worthless. after a reboot it goes away

I haven't played with anything other than flashing Cognition onto the phone.
I'm going to try going through the whole thing again, but this time not reinstalling any old apps/data through Titanium Backup. I'll set everything from scratch and see if that makes a difference.
I have searched and found nothing exactly like this so here I am.
My phone was 100% charged prior to going to bed last night, I wake up this morning and the battery icon is red. I unlock the phone, and see that I have (no service.) A few seconds later I see a force close, SORRY! process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly, please try again...BLAH BLAH.
It just keeps force closing, and I close it, then it comes back, again and again.
While this is happening, I went to settings and noticed that airplane mode it repeatedly turning on and back off during this whole force closing problem.
I have had this happen before and forgot how I got it to stop. I have wiped everything and tried and still same thing. I know for a fact that last time this happened I DID NOT re flash the rom or anything. Nor do I want to now, im hoping someone knows the simple solution for this.
Thanks.
UPDATE, actually turning airplane mode on will stop the force closing loop, but once I turn it back off, it still has the force close
If you are running cyanogenmod it's a bug due to toggle 3g/2g. To solve your problem you need to flash cm7 again. Then the FC will stop

I am running cm7, and now that i think of it, yesterday I added the toggle 2g/3g button to the drop down notification bar... it didnt start to force cloe right after that though, it was like 8 hours later.... weird..

I have a weird problem with my GF's inspire where her GTalk won't open anymore. If you click on the app the screen just flashes and boom your back at the home screen screen.
We've cleared the cache and stuff so that's all greyed out now. You can force stop, but that doesn't seem to actually well fix anything. She also doesn't appear to have low amounts of space either.
She's currently running the stock Gingerbread 2.3.3 ROM, and she didn't have this problem till just this week.
Any ideas?

Is her phone rooted?
She hasn't rooted her phone yet no.
Sounds silly I know, but she has tried rebooting phone with "FastBoot" turned off? It can be found in the main settings under the "power" section.

Actually I saw this recommended when I was Googling for a fix, but I forgot to try it when I was hanging out with her last night. I'll try it tonight and post back with results thanks!
Okay turning that off seems to have fixed at least the GTalk issue with her phone anyways. Thanks XDA people!
Hey Guys...I have an Xperia E1 and have started getting problems with it.
I had installed a few apps but they frequently disappear at random intervals!
I have no idea what's going on! Sometimes, the icons on home screen, widgets, etc also disappear!
BTW, by apps disappearing, I mean they get deleted completely! I have to re install them again and they disappear again after a while!
The phone has 4.3
So, Do i hard reset it and hope for a change or are these a part of the issues in this phone? I've been waiting for the kitkat update but it doesn't seem to release any soon though a leaked pic suggests its sometime this month.
make a factory reset and see what happens. Its a strange bug.

Just updated to kitkat a couple of days before and then did a repair consequently in lieu of a factory reset.
So far so good will wait for a a day or two to confirm that the bug is gone.
Thanks for the quick reply :good:
Can confirm that there are no issues now hat I've done a repair. Kitkat is smooth as butter except for one bug.
The hangout app never seems to permanently stay as my default SMS app. It keeps switching to the default android message app...
Stranger still is that twhen the switch happens, the notifications tone doesn't play. I have to open the message app to realize that i have a message.
Is it just in my case or is anyone else facing the issue?

Hi,
I am using S7 Oreo with the latest updates. Check the attached screenshot. Since morning the stock messaging app is hanging for no apparent reason. I have to force close it everytime to open say a text and after few minutes this problem starts again. I don't want to format as the phone is fine. What should I do?
Thanks
Any help guys?
