No pal you must complete the register in HTC dev and follow the instructions. I only put the RUU who worked for me. Maybe is the correct for HTC Status

Just bought this app and it works perfectly. I'm just giving everyone a heads up with the app. I like the fact that you can boot into at least 4 different ROMs including the main ROM your using right now. Its in the market. Thanks

Idk that's how it is. I even tried it myself by finding that app and trying to install the rom. I kept getting that boot.img error. So I bought that app and I say its well worth it. Its kinda laggy with some roms but that's because its running straight from the sdcard.

It is supported, I was emailing the developer and asked him why it wasn't on the list and he told me that the code for the sensation is there and that some Sensation users were experiencing minor problems. It worked perfectly for me. When CM or MIUI is released, that's where I'm going to be using the app mostly.

HTC Sync isnt required to S-off the phone. Once you have finished with Revolutionary you can reinstall HTC Sync.
Got ya. What exactly is the htc sync for? I always download, etc using mobile only.

Get the HTC ICS RUU
I wonder if any devs can get in touch with HTC and they would be willing to release the RUU to them to work off of, I'm sure the Devs on XDA could use it and rework it to function on the DHD and Inspire

No you don't need to sim unlock it. The only reason you would do that is if you wanted to use it on another network.
Ok and then root it and how to install 4ext?
Edit: can't find desire s on htcdev.com/bootloader which device I need to select?

Who is your service provider? You could maybe double check it with them if they released the ICS update at all. (they should have though... ) You could maybe reboot your device I give it a try again? Somebody more clever might help you out...

built in updater is the same I told you.

And one more thing! You could also have a look in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1672425 It is about RUU (Rom Update Utility). By using these you can update your device but you need to choose the right RUU for your device. Use this if you cannot get anywhere with your provider...

The answer is written in the thread I gave you and set up by kgs1992. Read all that stuff just to make sure you are familiar with that you are going to do. :good:
Just be sure you're connected to wifi and check for updates, it will prompt you to install the latest software available for your phone and region
Yes. When you tap on the check now button, a window will appear where it tells you what you are going to download. And It's better to be connected to WiFi as it will download a bigger amount of update.
