Hello all,
A customer of mine brought his Sensation XE which is totally bricked. No lights, no display and simply no signs of life except that when i plug it to pc, it is recognized as Qualcomm HS-USB QDloader 9008.
This gave me an idea if there would be a way to de-brick it using a software like we use for the Dell Streak5. The phone will stay here for a while until i give up and decide to send it back to HTC U.K.
Any suggestions are greatly welcome.
Only htc can fix it. As its a hardware failure.
More people had this on xda. Use the search for more info.
Since the pc still recognizes it, there's a big chance and hope that this might be the trick to unbrick a sensation like the one i have. Could anyone help on this topic and provide a *.qcn dump from his sensation xe ?

It looks like that thread didn't succeed (nor has anyone else here), I highly doubt you can unbrick it. Save your time and send it back!

can you acces bootloader/hboot..? if yes, You can try to go to fastboot and re-stock with correct RUU..

i doubt he can, or he would have posted that
haven't read any people from here succeeding once they saw this message. they were usually trying to get the phone back to s-on state, iirc. i encourage you to read as much info as you can about other devices with this qualcomm error. never know, might be the first member on here to fix a sensation brick

Like our Russian m8 says, i wouldn't create this topic if i could go into hboot. The phone is completely dead. I will dump a qcn file from a working sensation xe tomorrow. I'll let u know how it goes.

if you succeed please make a step by step tutorial and i'll gladly make a sensation firmware/whatever dump so we can finally unbrick our precious devices

No please don't send it back to HTC :L it would be much more beneficial to the community if we found a way to fix these types of brick any success yet?

I need to know how it bricked, like he was going to s-on from s-off from write oemsecureflag 3 command or was he trying to update it via ruu or what??
After that , i may help unbricking it
Go to Dev section and seek dexter's HTC unbricking project.. and get to irc and chat with him, before do anything to your phone
I have heard of this happens to some wildfire s devices . Some have had success by putting the the update. Zip from a ruu onto the sdcard and the very slowly following the update process from bootloader. Don't forget to rename it to the device name like pc49img.zip. I've not tried this though.

Hi friends,
I flash a radio Rom from HTC vision on my desire s by mistake.
Now bootloader is not working anymore, device does not boot, I can't reach the.desire s over usb (adb)

I have spent around 4 hours browsing through the forum and found lot of helpful guides. But unfortunately for every single guide, I got stuck.
The things I want to achieve:
Remove the stupid O2 brand logo on start ups
Remove Simlock, so I can use any sim cards
SuperOneClick freezes after I click on Root
Universal Androot doesn't support my phone
Can someone advise me how to tackle this problem?

Splash flasher should place a new image in O2 place.
Debrand is HERE
Sorry,don't know the other two.
Go into the Sensation Android Development section and the stickies have all the info you need. First you need to S-OFF with revolutionary and then you CID to blank and then remove the simunlock. It's all in there. And then after you're done, flash a custom rom and kernel.

My HTC Arrive will not get into Windows Phone. It get's to the HTC screen and then reboots over and over. I never see the Windows Phone Splash even. I was looking for the Sprint Mango Rom to see if I could reflash it but I can't find it anywhere. Can someone Please help me out? I know many will view this thread but can someone please stop to offer any advice? Is this a Brick? Thanks!!! Desperate!!!! Thanks!!!!

unfortunately it didn't help. I've put the phone in the Red, Green, Blue Screen but when I run the rom it says the phone is not connected giving an Error of 206. Any suggestions?

yesterday i bought HTc sensation xe the h boot is 18.0000 but when i try to s off by revolutionary.com its says (zerging root this may take a minute or so then zrging root failed)so i read in xda thread to unlock the bootloader first from htc dev so i make it ,then i tried the same with revolutionary and i also tried the htc super tool
please help me ASAp if you can and i appreciate it

i will but i didnt make ota update and i have the rom version 2.3.4 do i need to downgrade to 2.3.3
You do not need to do downgrade. Try again to follow the tutorial step by step. You must have USB debugging turned on. Try on another computer.
can any one tell me how to get revert back on to stock ROM on htc sensation 4G with the detailed guide and resources i flashed Android Revolution HD 1.1.0 for HTC Sensation its nice to use but i just want the a non custom rom to use .. it was easy to install a custom Rom but i dont know why it is kind of hard for me to go back ... please get me some details iM tired of searching on EVERYWHERE aswell it just gets me confused ..I THINK I NEED STEP BY STEP MATERIAL PLUS THE EXACT LINKS TO DOWNLOAD THE RIGHT RUU because i dont know yet which RUU My device came with .. but right now it is 3.32531.14 I dont know which RUU is the right one for my device .. i tried TMOUS_1.27.531.2 and TMOUS_1.50.531.1 through cmd but it gives me ERROR 155 stating that RUU is not correct ... can anyone please help ..it will be really appriciated.. thanks
