facebook.com/freebrowsingtrick

Help please !

This is really the wrong forum for this thread - I suggest a mod moves it to the Software development forum.
In addition, you're gonna have provide more details than that to get anyone's interest
Casey

Additionally, any software dev who has looked at the development classifieds, especially for web devs or mobile apps, has learned to be *very* skeptical of this kind of thing. If you really want to get anybody of quality, you're going to have to provide a good reason. "[We are] going to make an social networking site and to make it more popular we are going to make a mobile version of it" kind of screams "RUN AWAY!" to anybody not absolutely desperate.
That's not to say the idea is bad or the job will suck, but that's the way it comes across. You really need to sell the concept a *lot* better.

LOL Guys, before answering or discussing, check posted fb profile. They are children

Hello there for those who feel up to the task i am seeking for help preferably from someone that works on this website and i hope that by me making this request its not going get me in trouble of any kind. I am writing this with all the respect to the website administrators and members of the XDA-DEVELOPERS.
I am seeking some one that i could either send my phone to or could help me over the internet step by step on how to change things on my blackberry storm and my at&t fuse. I send it long time ago to a guy but for X or Y reason i haven’t heard back from him and I would really like to have this done. you may ask why don’t I do it my self well honestly i have try before but instead i just end up ruining 2 cell phones and they aren’t cheap and i am not rich. I go to school and have a full time job that takes a lot of my time, and i am not great with computers. I am not completely dumb but i do have a huge reading with problem because of an accident.
again I apologize if some how i manage to break any of the XDA-DEVELOPERS rules by making a request like this but i would really like to have this done.
send me a message if you are interested and thank you and have a great day.

I think it´s no need to pay
XDA-DEVS is a developing community that helps everyone with no other interest, for your at&t fuze aka Raphael try to enter here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=437
And once you have detected the software or app you want ask to the OP to get help. A donation to the developer or to XDA site is more welcome than ofering to pay.
Good luck,
zimzum

Keep the faith ....
True....we are a community built on labours of love, and it is better to donate to the site. My wife has dyslexia, but since she got into playing with PPCs and perusing this site, has become rather adept at modding AND reading. We all will be glad to help, just PM me.
After all, what is a community for?

[Q] Where can I learn how to develop apps?

Hi, I am looking to develop windows mobile apps for my HTC HD2 and I was wondering if there is a free online course or some places that I can learn everything I need to know to start developing ASAP, I hope to become good at this and I will be posting on the forums frequently but can someone help me out? It would be greatly appreciated if you could give me some links.

ASAP? you could also begin with Visual Basic. thats Easy to learn and quite powerful.
hey yo techburrow i am really new to smartphones and apps. i got my hd2 less than a month ago...but i feel the same way...it feels like it's really underground to learn and teach this stuff. i wish i new someone to teach me some of it...but i have learned more on this topic at this site in a week than anywhere else. it is truly wonderful. have you tried wikipedia for more info? i wish this site had a "xda term dictionary". i'm having trouble just figuring out what words mean...but maybe they do and i haven't found it yet. good luck...your first app should be for people llike you who want to know how to build there own apps and don't know how. "myappbuilder" or something...peace.

The link at the bottom takes you to a pile of other stuff.

P.S. Don't expect to learn all this stuff overnight, it's a long hard slog to become any good at it. Even then you'll still find room for improvement.
Good luck and don't give up.
Join some good school....

Personal Request

I have a contributing member to XDA for a while, and I typically try not to ask for too much, but I really could use a favor from a developer.
I would like to make an app for my new blog. Nothing crazy just kind of an app that would allow someone to read my blog and be notified of new posts. I will of course pay you for your time.
As I said, I realize its a personal favor, but I would really appreciate it.
My blog is BFL Blog
Bump.....anyone please?
Not exactly what you want [as I don't develop at the moment] But couldn't users get an rss feed for the time being?
Yes, but the idea behind getting an app on the market would be to gain more users. The blog is new, so Im not getting the kind of traffic I would like.
so, no takers then???
OK....One last bump, and ill sign the DNR
This isn't helpful for your App...but...for your blog... Loose the font you are using...it's screams don't take me serious...
Graphics at the top also does the same. Not trying to be mean, I love weight loss blogs, since I am a fitness instructor but help yourself get more users by making your blog scream professional. Which it currently is not.
Good luck with your blog, and sorry I can't help you with the whole app part

University

Java. Everything is Java. LOL
Beyond that, basic programming courses, C language (and any variants)...
It'll really depend on the platform you wish to code for, Ubuntu Touch, I'm sure, is inherently different from Android, as Android is from Apple, etc...
There are guides on here (actually in this very forum) that give you links to free programming courses from MIT.
Anything else a quick google search should turn up for you:good:
Good luck, and happy Dev'ing :victory:

What @Stryke_the_Orc said.. for android app development many people don't take a course as such just learn it in their free time as a branch away from their regular course. We have an app development forum as well where there are links to many guides as well as packages and libraries which you may find useful during the development of any app.. most of them are open source..
Also there are many Youtube video tutors which are available for app development and so is Google's own website @ developer.android..
So if you plan on taking on another course you can do this in your free time as well provided you know Java / C and its branches .. learning a new computer language is different skill set altogether.. which will require your full attention. So, depending upon your caliber and your own potential choose your course wisely.
Okay thank you very very much for both of your answers, they are both extremely helpful and i will take it all into consideration Thanks again
Whichever development path you choose, don’t forget good old fashioned Mathematics. In fact, stuffing as much of it into your head as it will stand, is not such a bad thing.
Sometimes it lets you see a much better/faster way of doing something.
Sign up for a course, or there are books from the library, even articles on Wikipedia.
Good Luck!
If you want to start developing for Android and you know Java, check out The New Boston's Android Development YouTube videos. They helped me a lot!
Am sure the best platform you can focus on now is Android

New here, want to help.

I am a long time leecher here at XDA-Developers, but I decided to create an account and see if I could help anybody with anything.
I am a long time programmer, however I didn't really have any Java experience until I get interested in Android a few years back. I am mainly a web developer, and so Java wasn't really anything that I was focused on learning.
What I can do for the XDA community.
Because I am a long time leecher here, I decided that until I actually have something to contribute to the actual Android community, I can contribute what I already have.
I have several servers currently online, so I can host your git/svn projects online in a secure area. Be it private or public. I can also host a website for you and your projects. Most of the time it will cost you nothing, except maybe a domain name if I am broke. (I don't make much at my day job).
I can also host your applications cloud backend, or your apps web interface. Whatever you need me to do. I am a pretty good sysadmin, and already have everything to do it.
I can't thank all of the devs here enough, especially the Galaxy S3 and Note 3 devs considering that they are the devices that I have had recently.
Let me know if you need anything.
Thank you,
Dan
I support you, you're good, I do phone in China, there are many good products in foreign countries want to do some marketing and sales, but a national and regional mobile phone users do not understand. If so, I hope we can have a lot of cooperation. If you are interested you can contact friends

We thank you joining. Also, offering to host files will help a lot of developers on this site.
You say that you're a common user of XDA. What are your other experiences with Android? Rooting? Any ROM experience?
--
I have rooted every device I have owned since my first Android device which was the Motorola droid X using guides from this site. Flashed countless roms to my different devices all downloaded from here.
I am going to start trying to take some roms apart and seeing what I can do with them. Hopefully I can patch a bug or two for some of you guys.
Try and spread the word that I can do what I can do, I don't want to come off as a spammer or anything so I am just going to leave it at this. you can link to this thread, and I will probably put it in my signature.
Thanks for your interest. If you know of any good guides for a beginner rom developer or kernel hacker I would love to read them.

Welcome to XDA! i myself used to be a lurker for XDA, its very generous of you to help others with hosting websites, im sure you will get lots of people accepting your offer. its not very hard to develop apps kernels or custom roms, should only require patience and time (and maybe a little bit more ram, the more ram you have the faster you can build a rom ) hope to see you on the battlefield! enjoy your stay at new vegas!
Welcome
Welcome to XDA! Am also follower of this site... Now registered new bee
I am not a expert like you... Just within in very small limit of exploring
Thanks for the responses everyone. Glad to hear that I may actually be able to help a little until I get going.
Good to hear from all of you.

I have recently come into a couple of domains in a trade. The are androidery.com and myandroidreview.com.
I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in doing anything with these domains.
Possibly a popular developer or developers that need a place to host their roms and source control servers. Whatever it may be, let me know.
If you have other ideas for websites you can post here or PM me and I will try to help you out.
Thanks,
Daniel

OLD newbie..
I too, myself, have been leeching here since I joined XDA a few months back, and still in the process of learning android development.
I'm more in to embedded systems' programming and development, but lately android interests me, and just now decided to get active.
:victory: Welcome to XDA mates!
Welcome. I am new as well
Hello! I'm still new at here too! I hope i can make some contribution in XDA
