YouTube.apk from EVO

I searched this thread and couldn't find it posted but over at AC someone posted the EVO's YouTube.apk where you can set in settings to default to HQ.

I've also attached the .apk to the thread. I tried it on my Nexus and works fine.
* Dont forget if you use the YouTube widget that you may have to remove, reboot and re-add.

Thanks man, works fine !
I used ASTRO ( filemanager ) to install, this gives you the option to upgrade your youtube.apk current version - no need to reboot using this method -
BTW: this one you gave us, is ver. 1619

do you just push it to /system/app??

push to system/app or put file in your sdcard use astro or other file manager to open and update.

Tried to install on MT3G CM5 rooted phone with Astro, gives the error as 'Application not installed' always. Anyone can help?

Not sure about 1.6.20 (E). I install the 1.6.19 (E) and the widget is working.

I get force closes with the widget in both 1.6.19 and 1.6.20.

If U use your youtube account the widget doesn't work very well.
I logoff my youtube account and It's work.

This is Honeycomb's music player and works only for 2.2+
won't work on 2.1
Great media player with smooth and cool animations similar to 3dGallery Pity it has no equalizer (perhaps on 2.3 it has). DSPManager worka great on CM 6.1.3 though

Uninstall the previous version of Honeycomb music player before installing this one The data of the previous version doesn't let this one be installed.

The Menu button is accessible if you go a level down into an artist or something. It should appear up in the top right. It would be nice if it was put in the soft key area, but they were probably trying to make it compatible with older phones.

It should be available in the market soon and I believe it will be compatible with GB once it releases in the market.

background gradient looks bad on 2.3.x, maybe because of 16bit colors

From what I've read around it does NOT have to be on ICS. I am going to try with ROOT EXPLORER and see what happens

PowerAMP has many more features.
CM 9 Music is quite good though but has some bugs that make it 'beta' still IMO.
is there a dev thread/place to report bugs? Ive just found the blog page and G+ stream of the dev.

hello i have a Samsung tab s 1 running android 6.0.1 and am trying to install the latest music player i updated to the latest app update using my Samsung s6 edge i have made a copy of the music app using es file explorer & it will not let me install the new music app update on my tab s how can i install it on my tab s with out girting this error thanks

So how come I found the s8 music player on here's and that install works but other ones will not ??

i would try and install a different one first. might not be compatible with the device you are trying to install it in.

I now remember where I got it origins the gallery apps app can no longer find it tho on there any one else see it?

Ok thanks found a back up I made a while ago
When tab 1st got mm 6.0.1 I was able to download the music app off the play store I can no longer do that tho as it's a newer version on play that dose not support my tab s lucky I made a back up of it after all ??
