Nintendo 64 Emulator

This was released recently and I scooped it right up the second I read about it, I loves me some N64 goodness.
I've had it for about an hour and I've been playing Super Mario 64, it runs perfectly on my Nexus S. $6 might be steep for some people, but to me it's worth every penny.
I honestly have no reason to spend money on a PSP or DS now. My phone is truly my all in one device, I love you Android.

Where you get the n64 roms from to play? I downloaded but never even opened it yet

ROM Gripper++ from the market, or download from Doperoms.com.

is there any possible way to limit the frame rate? im playing Legend of Zelda OOT and its going a lil too fast

Doesn't seem to be available for my backflip (which of course is too slow, and armv6), but it isnt even for the nook color which is armv7. Any idea why? Permissions only seem to indicate memory usage. Glad to see this so my girlfriend can get her daily dose of conker though.

This app is good. But I wish you could make Mario 64 go a little slower even with no frame skips its to fast

mario 64 works exelent for me but zelda is a lil to slow. i own a streak

It could be because on the nintendo 64 it required the expansion pak in the system

Im not sure but i believe that posting a link in these forums to a video game rom is considered spreading warez. Why not try a simple Google search for rom sites then go from there,

Ive had that issue with a Romgripper a couple of times, try redownloading the game or try to find another source to download from.

Interestingly enough it says expansion pack detected when I boot the game, however it crashes as soon as I try to start a new game. Goldeneye works ok I guess, the sound is pretty choppy. Still pretty amazing for n64 on a phone!

really want to buy this, but market keeps rejecting my card it works for buying other apps, just not this one. tried on the phone and on my desktop. guess i'm stuck with SNesoid.

I wonder how Superman 64 looks in this emulator... Anyone cares to try it out?

Normally id have no problem helping you but that game was a travasty on the 64 and I don't think it can be saved by a vibrant.
Smells like WINNING from my T-959 xda premium app

I'm playing Zelda Ocarina of Time on my SGS. Aside from it crashing sometimes and some graphical bugs it runs very well. I'm really impressed.
Oddly, RAM usage sometimes jumps up to 60-90MB and stuff gets choppy. Still room for optimization, it seems.

I am using a verizon play.

oh then i have no idea i use the stock browser to open that link up
(nvm for some reason i had to uninstall my Dolpin browser to install it but downloading now)

So this is the really rubbish version that has been on iOS for months, terrible which is a shame as the console/pc versions are fantastic.

So wait,this is just the demo correct?

I didnt get to play it..... I think it only gives u 60mins of play and it took me 2 hours to do the update lol soo idk how it plays, is it pretty cool? Does it play like rainbow six?

€5 = a little over $7 . If you use google.com just type 5 euro in and it will convert it to usd for you. I use google.co.uk and if i type 5 euro its auto converts it to £.

Yeah,it asked me to buy it after playing it for a while. Cost me $2.50.
The game is similar to RSSV,you can't sprint nor take cover.

I tried the demo, it looks ok, but the right analogue control was driving me insane, it either under responds or seriously over does it making targeting a real ass. Don`t think I`ll be buying this one.

modern combat 2 and brothers in arms 2 are way better games, dont get me wrong its good for a mobile phone game but i want the games to be better than the psps

It said it was running 2.2.1 but the video was fake as hell. Our tablet does not have an sd slot yet in the video it said sd mounted and as soon as it got to the part where it shows the storage amount it blurs out. Also the cameraman conveniently drops the camera the one time where the dude forgets to swipe his finger yet the tablet still switches to a new page. From the looks it did not seem legit to me at least.

It's probably seeing the internal drive space as the SD card space.

If u notice the SD storage read 28gigs. It's reading the internal SD card as the external. So that's legit. And second the nexus s I believe didn't have a SD slot yet the option was still there and showed storage.

As per the documentation, maximum resolution supported on the Froyo is 854x480 (WVGA854) and it looks more than that.

I emailed the developer about landscape mode, Xperia play optimisation/hardware key mappings. Glad to say he would add all that once the app has ironed it's major problems

I wonder if the second screen can be cut off entirely.
The games I'd play are Megaman ZX, Castlevania and Phantasy Star 0... for games like that, the second screen is near useless.

Well as for us Play users he could make it so that the screens are sideways next to each other and right side up while using the gamepad, this would also give space for touch controls, but that is just what I think, there could be options for either that or like you were saying just have one screen.

I thought a ds emulator was near impossible, for a start it doesn't even work right on windows..... but I guess we will see

i already bough that to support developer and sent a mail to developer to thank and suggest to make a x play-compatible version

How is this any different to the other two DS emulators which were both consequently dropped after the developers realised how much work it required?
Like the others, this one is also painfully slow and without sound, by the developers own words. It wouldn't surprise me if this was just a re-brand of one of the other ones, with the "developer" just chancing his/her luck at making some quick and easy money.
I sincerely hope that I'm wrong and the dev is actually working on bring this up to scratch. I'd be happy to pay $30 for a working DS emulator for the PLAY

When I try to install it on my galaxy S3 it tell me need more space but I have 7.5 gb free space......

This error is usually about the RAM... Try stopping everything else and/or rebooting.
Runs fine on both my tab and my phone

Do you use some illegal things to crack game?
AKA "Something Patcher you know"? If yes you have to delete and odex file on data/app...

Hey thnx I installed but still another problem it tell me u need to buy the game so I use lucky patcher and I opened the game.... it load then it exit automatically.

The cracked version is a Non-Root/Offline version.
To clear up ram, go to settings --> apps --> running. Kill off any APPS you're not using. (media, maps, videoplayers, etc. Leave the com.'s, launcher etc alone.) After that, use the taskmanager to kill off any residual apps that rebooted. try again then.

Did you bother to follow the instructions? read the comments? There's this .obb file, too. you're supposed to do something with it. But mentioning it's generally considered very scary by squeamish Americans, so I can't help you.
