[Q] Transfer Google Apps to New Google Account - General Questions and Answers

Hi,
Is there any way to transfer all purchased/free apps from one google account to another?
Thanks

You'd have to contact Google directly to find out, but I'm pretty sure they won't do it.

Puchased Apps are bind to a single Account. You can't transefer them. The only way to get them to your phone would be switching Accounts.
You can read more at the english Android Market help pages. Search for "Retrieving previously purchased applications". I can't post links

[Q] New Market

So did anyone else notice that the new Market has an account setting? Allows me to select different accounts. Does this finally mean that I can merge two accounts worth of apps? Family style?

Im not sure if you can merge 2 accounts, They have to have a way of preventing people from signing into a family members account and downloading apps that were bought thru said account. If not then it poses a serious problem for app developers and devs getting paid correctly. Unfortunately I dont have another account to test it on..

"Your application purchases are tied to your Google Account and can be installed an unlimited amount of times on any device." See:
http://www.google.com/support/androidmarket/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=113410
It works for watching movies rented on another account, too:

Keep in mind you do still have to add the additional Google account(s) to the phone, meaning the device will have access to all other Google services including Gmail.
so lets say I added my gmail account to my wifes phone and downloaded all the apps I have paid for to her phone..couldnt I just delete my gmail from her phone after and her phone would still have all my apps on it?
The documentation doesn't say, but most likely yes, and it'd be real easy to test it. Just add your account, download an app, remove the account, and see what happens.
Keep in mind, though, that without the associated Google account you won't be able to update those apps -- which is an enormous downside in the long run.

I plan on just having a family account to buy apps on, and then add that to all the phones. But it use to be that it had to be the main account.. I haven't purchased any apps yet, recent iphone switcher, but now it appears to not have to be the main account... which is awesome cause google talk only worked with the main.

Migrating installed apps to different Google play account

Hello,
as the title suggests I'm after a way to have my new Google account on Play utilize installed.apps.info from an older account. Essentially I'm consolidating all of my Google accounts into one for use on my android machine, and unfortunately I've been installing apps via an account that will be merged and deactivated.
I tried using titanium backup to backup/restore all apps and system data after switching to my sole primary account, and confirming the reinstallation of all apps, but Google Play still shows a blank list of installed apps.
Is this possible at all?
Thanks

Not possible
Does Play cache the downloaded packages somewhere so that I may recycle those from the old account for use with the new by recreating the cache path for use with the new?

Everything is stored by the Google acct. Once u sign in to another Google acct u can still use the apps don't u won't be able to download the paid apps again unless u on the old acct u purchased it from.
Okay. Thanks any way.

one way is to get the Google Play apk and put this in the SD card, then, installed it into your Android Device.
I am also in the hunt for more Android apk too. If you know where to find these apk, please share with us?

Multiple Google Accounts and Error 403

I have two Google Play accounts. For a few reasons I have purchased Apps on both accounts. From time to time I am unable to download updates for certain Apps. I get a google play error 403. The only way aroumd this that I have found is to remove the account that did not purchase the app download the update and then re-add the second account.
Not all apps do this. Most often the apps that cause the issue are Tinycam Pro and Tapatalk pro.
Does anyone know of a better way to deal with this?

Same issue here, with tapatalk. Deleting one account is a working workaround, but not very handy.

Google Services and Other Questions

I was wondering what this phone came installed with. I haven't bought one yet, but I'm really considering it.
Does this device come installed with Google Play or Google Play Services? Would I be able to install it if I tried (because I'm not against that)? Or can I just install a ROM and get all that with it?
Thanks.
It depends actually on the region the phone was made for. If you buy a Chinese version of the phone, you wont have Google apps installed and you would be able to manually install them ( google contacts sync and play store are the most important ones). Yet, if you bought an international version of the phone, then Google apps will be pre installed by default

I've bought an L02 version of ebay, installed playstore manually, but I can't sync my contacts. Everything else it's no problem, but not the contacts! I've done a bunch of searching with no conclusion. Any ideas?
Your problem is that you are missing the Google contacts sync app. Find it in a google apps package or download it from Huawei app center

I've downloaded the contacts app from here:
http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google...ontacts-1-1-android-5-1-android-apk-download/
And still, I can't add my google contacts. Everytime I try to add an account, the google accounts is not an option, only Cloud, Weibo and facebook show up.

Update apps when you delete a google account

Hi
I have a question with Google Play accounts.
I have a phone with three Google accounts. In this phone all applications have been installed with a Google account that I now want to delete.
If I delete the account with which I installed the applications (in the phone there are still two accounts) the applications are still updated normally?
Especially the applications that I bought with the account I want to delete.
Thanks and best regards
P.D .: Sorry for my bad English.

If you want to be able to update the apps via Google PlayStore, you still need to be signed into the device with a Google account, you can't use PlayStore without an account.
If you want to update the apps without using a Google account, you can update the apps by manually downloading the updated apps from somewhere other than Google PlayStore and then manually install them on the device.

Yes, in the device there are still two google accounts.
But the applications that I have paid with the account I want to delete are still being updated?

Once you delete the account you delete all record that you bought the app and will most likely fail the Google server check as it won't be able to match the email account used to get the app.
You are stuck with the email.
