Hey all,
I want to try a MIUI ROM, but I don't know which MIUI ROM. I know there are several versions on the nexus s forum, but I would like to get some advise!

Hello.
MIUI v4 for Nexus S is rather unstabile and many bugs, and is therefore BETA.
For me, most stabile version is MIUI Germany, with Shockem`s SwAT Team Work very good.

Check miuiandroid. They have a preview for miui ics. Hopefully they will release it for nexus s since its a developers phone.
Today miui said theyre looking for testers of theyr miui ics beta! If youre lucky and can speak chinese you can test the beta soon! ;D

Thinking of either keeping the MT4GS I picked up or getting a Sensation, I like MIUI as a rom but noticed there aren't many roms here. I know the bootloader is getting unlocked but curious if anyone knows of one being developed or in the works? Seems a little light on the rom development side but most phones start out that way. I remember when I had a G2 and there weren't many there either.
We need a stable cm official and source merged first...wait since kornyone is working on CM9

slim to none i'd say
You're better off with AOSP ROMs.
That's a shame, this phone has great potential but doesn't seem like a lot of people are taking to it. I know it hasn't been out long but really a good device over the G2 in my opinion for the keyboard

I agree with you. TDJ made my 4G rock. Then my hardware buttons decided to stop working. Tmobile sent me a replacement that had the bad screen twice so they sent me this slide. Staying stock until a rom comes out that works for me. And I hate stock. Might break out my vibrant for a while.

I've run several ICS ROMs since getting my NS and I would definately concur that Codename is fantastic. They're on 1.4 now I believe.
I would definitely try Air Kernel by r_data as well. Its so smooth. Best I've tried yet.

Jellybam for epicmtd
Please see original rom link for details on features of the rom itself
Some notes:
Currently the soft keyboard does not pull up at first, you need to disable the hardware keyboard for it to pull up, and I that will need to be done at reboot time as well. To do that:
Settings, Language & Input, Default, Turn off hardware keyboard
This can only be used if you are using the NS4g modem, if you are not familiar with how to do that, please read the forum a bit, because the instructions are everywhere...
There will be some force closes at the start for Google TTS, they go away after awhile though... all of these are being looked into, I consider them minor issues really.
That being said, thanks to Effsi for the encouragement and looking into the issues I mentioned, iGio90 (Rom Dev) - Bliss_ (Art and graphics)
b1uefalcon and the whole team for the base frameworks
TeamHacksung (CM10)
AOKP Team (AOKP)
Paranoid Android Team

Justin860 (Inverted Gapps + Themes)
