Battery % in Battery Icon (using Endymion Rom) - HTC Desire S

Is it possible?

In Hyperiuon was possible using Rosie....

if you mean numbers with % instead of battery icon, yes it can. just update your Endy.

I'm sure he is talking about a little percentage number inside the batt icon. I think it's no big deal to implement this to a ROM but in endymion you just have other options to customize your batt icon.

Yes it is possible , there is a whole host of add ons made by enigmaamit on the forum, having a % in the battery icon is there
It is in the General section of the forum.

or removes the stock battery icon in the task bar and replaces it with a % reading

New HTC Battery Widget

Just downloaded the new HTC Battery widget.
Nothing fancy, it's just a battery icon that sits on your home screen displaying how much battery power is left as a percentage.
When clicked on basic info opens in a new window such as health, voltage and temperature.
Just thought I'd pass it on just in case anyone is interested.
Lol its not new bro, its been around since I was using Android on my HD2. But yes I noticed it wasnt available for the sensation when I first looked on hub so I just ripped the .apk from my desire hd

Any chance you have a download link for that .apk file?
They seem to have removed it from the market on my sensation, .. its not coming up on a search on there now.
I think if you get the OTA update it will show on your HTC hub. But ill try to rip the apk and let you know.

Best program to change...

The font of our sensations. I would like to see a preview of the font, before it would apply over the phone.
Is there any application that would change the battery icon right above? I know about the battery widget of HTC but I would like that to be changed with a actually good battery icon B-)
Much thanks in advance.

[App/Request]Battery Mate

anyone know of any good battery monitoring apps like battery mate/battery changer? i want the app to overlay the original batt icon & show percentages with 1% increments + batt temp. or could a pro dev kindly help pls..?
*though i know that i can just install something like Battery Notifier Big Text and use *#*#4646#*#* to check the other batt info... :/
No you cannot ask for paid app apk's. If you had read the xda rules upon creating an account you would know this.
As for your other questions I couldn't tell you

I agree with this.
Market apps will not overlay the original icon.
I had success with the battery icon change with my Note.
Just make sure to read the instructions carefully and do Nandroid backup before trying anything.

HTC one s vampire app sucking the [email protected]#t out of battery.

I got my htc one s a few days ago and I haven't had a problem until now, love it btw. I wanted an app that shows status of cpu, ram, battery, temperature ext. I found this app called hashiriyaMeter that has all the widgets I wasn't but ever since I added these widgets, to make a long storey short, battery went from %100 to dead in 4 hours on standby! What are some widget apps that are all in one that won't drain battery? What do you guys use,"status widgets".

Just for a general FYI, live updating widgets like that WILL drain your battery.
Unfortunately updating widgets dont seem to be very efficient yet, but hopefully that app will be more efficient

Are you able to get the direct dial working in Elixir 2? When I click it it does nothing.
