http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1449513
you can download it here:
http://androidaudiohacks.com/?p=158
I tested on Xplay 2.3.4 .42 and it makes the sound at BT / HS perfectly!
no tweaks for Sound on Xplay more needed ^^.

Too use it on xplay you must actived
Speaker modification.
Then just play a little bit Time with The eq and it works.
Set bassboost to 0 it doesnt work on xperia phones and deactived the eq!
Sry for my english :-(.

Equalizer problem

Hey guys, I just got the Galaxy S Blaze, and I like the stock music app, but hate the equalizer it has. I've downloaded tons of different equalizer apps apps and not a single one of them works. Is there any way that I can get this to work? As in deleting the app or process that causes the equalizer not to work? Thanks

I use Equalizer from SmartDroid - workable flawlessly and has reverb bass boost virtual and other options...here's
Their homepage...u can find it on the market

One of the only apps I've bothered to recommend purchasing - I bought an unlock key
Send me a pm if u need anything!!!

The EQ in poweramp works just fine for me. You can use either (or both) EQ or tone controls, and it supports profiles, which is nice if you use different types of headphones.
Michael, I use Equalizer and it's actually my favorite equalizer app to use, but it doesn't work when I play music using the stock music player

That's strange, it works with all mine including slacker, mort , stock player, gp music, it even does my phone calls unless I deactivate it...
Then again not all phones are equal - meaning my G2x did odd things that others did...

Yeah it works fine with poweramp and Google play music but not the stock player. And I love the stock player so it really sucks

[Q] Music Player

Recently I flashed Razodroid & used stock music app 1st tym after 10-11 months (long time though). I'm greatly impressed by its sound output. {Although I used to listen music via it very earlier (~2yrs ago) when on stock samsung...}
So, I want to know:-
* Is there any way to add stock (gb) music app support for CM & Android 4+ roms?
* & if not possible then pls. suggest some players which feature 5.1 channel sound & concert hall... ...etc. like features similar to stock music app.
Pls. answer both my queries.
Thnks...

Thnks Bro! But I already know of these two players.
EDIT:- If possible, mention the names of some music players which provide 5.1 surround sound, so that I can download them directly via Google Play (without any mess...)
Thnks for cooperation..

Viper Audio Mod (root required)

THIS IS NOT MY MOD. I AM NOT THE DEVELOPER. GO TO THE OFFICIAL THREAD AND SUPPORT THE DEVS CAUSE THIS MOD IS A BEAST.
This is by far the best sounding device for the Viper mod (imo).
Follow this link and READ the op, then download zip for the latest version near the bottom of post #1
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191223
Or visit there official website http://vipersaudio.com/blog/?page_id=48
Extract the file for 4.xx / open file / install apk.
Open the app and you will be prompted to install the driver. Choose high quality then it will install the driver and prompt you to reboot once completed. That's it! Once installed, you can then check for updated versions in the settings menu which is a nice feature.
To Start:
You will probably want the FX Compatible Mode set to Compatible since most music players EQ will not work together with the mod (settings / FX Compatible Mode / Compatible).
The stock music player is not compatible so you'll need to find one you like that is. I use power amp, but there is a setting you must enable for it to work. settings / audio / advanced tweaks / direct volume control and musicfx checked. Once this is done, return to the EQ settings and go to Tone/Vol tab. Make sure MusicFX is lit up. Sometimes the player will fug up and disable this while you're listening but still lit up. Just push it off then back on.
In Viper, there are three levels of settings. Go into settings / UI Setting and you'll see beginner, moderate, and expert. Each open a little more options in the main settings that will let you tweak the hell out of this thing. Most of what I tweak is only available in expert.
My Settings:
Ok, Let me start by saying that I listen to heavy metal so my overall experience may be different from yours unless you're a bad ass like me
Also, I pretty much use this in my car so my settings will likely sound different on what you've got. I have a 10'' sub with just 300 watts and factory door speakers. My power amp eq is only moved one notch up starting at 250 then two notches at 4k and 8k and the tone and limit buttons are off. When using the same settings, Country music and other stuff (Alice in Chains, Aaron Lewis, Stained etc.) sounds great too. To test the limit of your system and start with a good base, play some high quality classical music while tuning your settings.
For my car, I have the headset tweaked WITHOUT certain modes on to reduce constant 'waves' in the music.
- Playback Gain Controll, Field Surround, Differential Surround, Headphone Surround+, and Reverberation are all disabled.
- FIREquilizer is set at "Rock" then tweaked to reduce the low and high, and add a little mids.
- Impulse Response Samples (irs). I enable the convolver from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2439254. READ UP on this because it's difficult for me to explain. I just started using this one so I'm playing around with the different impulse resonse mods, but BBE Harmonic Maximizer Preset 2.irs is pretty damn nice. There are directions on how to install the files in that op.
- Dynamic System is enabled on mine. This will be part of where you will need to keep adjusting the settings to your liking. I use "Common Earphone(v2)" and set the dynamic bass at 4%.
- Fidelity Control is another one you will need to tweak. I enable ViPER bass, bass mode subwoofer, bass frequency 100 Hz, ViPER clarity is enabled, natural clarity mode, clarity at 6.0 dB.
The bass, guitars and kick drums come through the speakers without any distortion and the mids / highs are clear as hell without too much treble.
If you use headphones, you will probably need to modify your settings and use some of the surround sound stuff. I save two separate effect profiles though. This also applies to watching movies. You'll wanna play around with the settings and irs mods.

Good question. I guess it depends on what eq it uses. I deleted Google play music but I'll try Pandora and let you know.
-edit. Pandora doesn't work for me but there might be a way to enable it which would be in the dev's thread. I don't think it uses your device to control the sound though. Someone test Google play music and reply.

100 thanks and it's working with play music I had to go into the settings sound music effects and select Viper audio instead of fx.

Really want to use this to improve the sound in my car, but it needs root. I'm a bit afraid of getting the phone rooted by now due to problem with Kingo.
Guys, this is a callable in the play store. Just download, install, profit. Or is this different from the play store version?
