[Q] Signed Update.zip? - Droid 2 Global General

I have no success looking for a signed update.zip for the Droid 2 Global, and I need to recovery my device back to normal, since I couldn't flash a sbf file since the device wont take charge so I could on boot to the Android stock recovery. So can someone post a signed update.zip file for me please?

Signed update won't do you any good unless you are running stock 2.4.30 http://rootzwiki.com/topic/6879-offline-update-45608a956-droid-2-global/
You don't SBF from stock recovery, you want bootloader both volume buttons + power
Try ezSBF http://www.droidforums.net/forum/showthread.php?t=170060
[TOOL] ezSBF D2G
edit: you need to charge your battery either way

Well I can't run bootloader since the battery is low and doesn't even charge at all.

you have a couple of options
get a different charged battery, or have a friend charge yours
buy a charger like this
http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=140666717848&index=3&nav=SEARCH&nid=85251061855
or try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=892026

Or you could go to the verizon store and have them charge your battery...

Thank you! It works, first time, no glitches. Just what we needed!
When I downloaded this it says .sbf.gz as the extension and rsd wont recognize it..Should I delete the .gz? Thanks
[EDIT] I deleted the .gz so it was just the .sbf extension and it failed to flash. Im using rsd 4.9 btw. Could my rsd version have any correlation to this problem??
Thanks got me back up and running now if only I could root the thing lol

No, the .gz means that it was run through gzip. Go download 7-zip, install it, then right-click the file and extract it.

Like many times before i used the one click odin root to root my phone. This time as soon as it started, it failed. Now my phone boots straight to this screen:
Odin Mode
Product name: SGHI727
Custom Binary Download : No
Current Binary: Samsung official

Firmware upgrade encountered
as issue. Please select
recovery mode in kies and try again.
I used odin to try and flash again, i used one click flash, and I reinstalled all my drivers, checked my usb connection and even tried a different computer. I cannot restore my phone. I was on stock ginger bread but not sure which one.
I go into download mode manually, i slect up, and i get back to the same screen as on top w no result.
Help plz. $20.00 donation to who can help me crack this...i really need it fixed, thx.
I also tried to use klies. it didnt work. computer does read the phone as the yellow shows on odin. But everytime i try to flash something it starts, then fails.

Can you still transfer stuff over Odin, or is your computer not picking it up at all?
Also, are you using Desktops or Laptops to Odin?
This thread is epic. I would've reported it if there was a report button :-(

You are in download mode. Not recovery. Can not flash from there. Pull battery then power+home+volume up to get to recovery. Before flashing rom did you flash CWM. Did you unlock boot loader. Need to read Droidstyles guide before going any further. It has everything you need to know.

Please learn what you're doing before flashing and breaking your phone.
You're in download mode. Just pull your battery and put it back in.
This is what I get when I hold vol up, home an power.

You did not unlock your bootloader properly. Seriously. Please read up before you do more stuff to your phone and break it.
This is easy to recover from, just go back into downloading mode and flash the stock rom in ODIN.
You can find information on this here:

if using the ez unlocker tool from the market, read the description, 1.4 was buggy and wasn't actually unlocking bootloaders correctly, so you had to download 1.2 from the link provided and use that to unlock your bootloader properly
Thanks, I will read up some more an terry.

I don't normally suggest toolkits but I see u looking at wugfreshs toolkit so im guessing you are half way familiar with it. Use the flash back to stock with the soft bricked section checked. You are OK just take your time and breath and read before you really mess up your phone. You obviously are getting way ahead of yourself and doing things you don't understand. That's a great way to hard brick your brand new shiny toy.

No need to panic. It is not bricked. Just flash system recovery and boot in the fast boot mode.
Just check how to upgrade to 4.4.1 thread. They have factory image for 4.4 which you can use for flashing.

Can't restore nexus 5. Soft brick please help

Hello. I just wanted to restore my nexus 5 and i used NRT for it. I pressed restore and after that it startet booting. Now the phone turned on and it wrote: optimalizing (starting apps) 2 of 2. After that it restarted again. I know i was stuck in bootlomp. My pc is not working properly and 90% of images i downloaded were corrupted. In flashing in hashcheck it wrote missmatch. There is photo that i dont know if it is ok but i will post it anyway.

Now i want you guys ask you. i have here a friends notebook but there is not installed the nexus 5 driver and in NRT it doesnt recognize my phone even in bootloader mode so i cant restore it. What can i do here? Can i do something with the drivers to be my phone conected with NRT? Or do you guys have any other better fix for it? Thanks a lot for tour replies!
There is a guide to how install the drivers in NRT. Idk where exactly. Just have look. As I remember it right it should work without have your N5 connected.

i tried it, but it didn´t work for me. NRT were not able to find my phone. Is there any other plan to fix this by any other app or something else?
Don't use a tool kit. Just flash the factory image using fastboot. See the general forum for the sticky on how to flash a factory image.
