Just want to make sure, AT&T SIM isn't necessary to get this update, correct? ( I use unlocked, T-Mobile).
Thank you.

Hi there,
I've got a Samsung Galasy S2 factory unlocked that came shipped with GB 2.3.4. My question is, having bought that phone sim unlocked, can I flash any firmware available for that phone present in samfirmware? I'm fed up of waiting to get the official upgrade through kies, which is taking too long for spanish phones.
My main fears comes from flashing the phone with a non-free-sim firmware. Am I obbey to use, for flashing my phone, any Open Europe firmware if I want to keep having my phone sim unlocked? or could I in contrary flash it with any european firmware?
Thanks for your support.
Hi there, new member with a first question.
I bought an S10+ (SM-G975U) online, unlocked, to be used mainly with AT&T when in US, and different carriers when traveling. IMEA check shows the phone was originally on Verizon carrier, but works fine with AT&T sim card. However, it's not receiving OTA software updates, and the security patches are way behind. When I try to force software updates, says it's already up to date. Seems like on unlocked phones, or switched carriers the updates don't happen. I tried booting the phone with a working Verizon sim card, still no updates. Online searches say that flashing the firmware is my best (or only) option. I downloaded Odin, but I still have a lot to learn and don't want to brick my phone. I'm not sure which firmware version to get. AT&T vs Verizon? U or U1 since it's unlocked? Do I flash all 5 files or just some of them?
Thanks.
Hello everyone, this is my first post here.
I have a slight problem. I have an unlocked verizon Note 10+ 5G SM-976V and I changed CSC to GCF a while back because the verizon CSC had bloatware.
Now i have GCF/GCF/VZW. Im stuck on March 1 2020 security patch. The phone works great and everything is working well. I want to upgrade to android 11. That is somewhat not possible because when i try to upgrade from my phone it says, 'Your current software version isnt supported. Visit a service center.'
What firmware is for me? How can i get an firmware that can fix my usual updates? Or if i have upgrade firmware on odin, what version should i be choosing?
I do not live in the US anymore, phone was unlocked on verizon. All sims seem to be working on it. Attaching the files necessary for your study. Please help?

Have a look here for official ota updates from Verizon: https://www.verizon.com/support/samsung-galaxy-note-10-plus-5g-update/
If it does not work and you have an unlocked bootloader, you can flash latest stock firmware with Odin on pc.
Hello, I have bought an LG Velvet ATT unlocked. I cannot update via OTA because I think it needs an ATT account and sim card for it to update via the ATT network but I live in Europe. Can I manually install the OTAs relesed by ATT (although I can't find any ATT ones) or do I have to flash another stock firmware that releses updates without a sim? Would it be possible to flash the Canadian android 11 stock firmware since it has the same model number than ATT LM-G900UM? Obviously the software version numbers are slightly different. I want to keep LGs software because I need it for the pen support.
Thanks in advance
I recently bought an unlocked AT&T Samsung S20 ULTRA 5G (SM-G988U), it doesn't get any OTA updates, I found out that I would need an AT&T sim card to do so but I'm not an US resident, so I can't get one.
Since AT&T doesn't publicly publish their firmware files and I want to update my phone, I was wondering if flashing my phone using another firmware with a different CSC code like USC (US cellular), would be risky or is it a safe procedure?
This would be my first time doing this procedure and that's the only part that really got me thinking.
Thanks!
U firmware is identical, no matter which carrier it's from. So if AT&T's latest release ends in UH2 and there is also a UH2 firmware from US Cellular, flashing it would be just like flashing the AT&T firmware, if it were available
Also have same question I have Samsung S20 . SM-G988U , service provider software version SAOMC_SM-G988U_OYN_ATT_RR_0018ATT/ATT/ATT Baseband Version G988USQS2SUE2, I am not able to get new updates as I am not in US, I need suggestion which firmware of android 12 I should update on my phone.
