Hey,
I've posted a few times about my battery issues, im glad everyone has tried helping me so before I give up on my sensation i'd like to see if anyone knows whats going on with the straight battery drops.
My phone is running ARHD 3.16
Kernal: 0.2.8
Radio: 10.58.9035
If anyone has any clue about what's going on please tell me.

it can have 100 causes.
But you can do a simple test.
If you use a stock rom:
You can try to do a hard reset, and use your phone without any installed apps. And download battery monitor widget and just watch how quick your line drops down. And with that tool you can test your battery Ma and Mi.
If you use a mod rom:
Just try another mod and another drivers. And watch if that helps.
If not, then you can start watch for another battery or maybe there is a shorcut that drains your battery quick.
But that is difficult to see over this forum

Battery Problems i think

I am new to Android and have my HTC One S and seems as though my screen on time is much less than my keep awake value. I have only push email on in terms of sync so not sure what else i can do. I have attached some BetterBatteryStats but am unsure of what they mean. Any chance someone could please help to determine if they see the cause? I should say i am getting about 10 hours out of my battery....again new to Android so not sure if that is expected...i hope not. thank you.

If your rooted I can help you out, personally I'm not a fan of better battery stats but it does give you some information, it looks to me like your on the phone a lot in 10 hours but a friend of mine released something that will help a lot if your rooted.

You can stay stock, no need for flashing anything else if your not ready for it and it won't hurt the device.
I can show you how to add init.d without having to install a rom and install the mod after.
This is the results for today and I've used it a lot.

[Q] [SK17i] Battery Drain with a Gap in Battery Usage Log

My SK17i once brick and I'v flashed it using stock firmware 4.1.B.0.587 Generic CE3 WORLD by hB78 created by happyBOY78 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1907994), and I've rooted it using doomlord method.
The problem is, after I complete root it, the battery life time is short and drain so fast.

I'v searched solution of this problem in XDA forum but 'Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.' , open every URL that linked by another member, and I didn't found any clear answer about it and how to fix it.
I hope anyone ---who know how to solve this problem--- who read this post kindly explain why this happend and how to solve this problem clearly, because I know that not only me who had the same problem.
method that I've tried:
Empty the battery, recharge it until full, reset battery usage log and clear cache, and reboot, but no use.

[Q] com.android.sandbox (Chrome sandbox process drains battery)

I've tried googling this but the problem is either not widespread or its simply normal. When I use Chrome, sometimes the sandbox process will appear and it will absolutely drain my battery. The screenshot below is considered pretty good, at times I can see the process second top in the battery eating race after screen. Does anyone else encounter this? How do I fix it?

I have experienced this from time to time and I know others who use Chrome more extensively may see 3+ on their battery list by the end of the day which is disheartening.
I can't say how to fix it or what they even represent though.
Here is a thread discussing the topic:

I have the same problem and is driving me crazy as I tried other browsers cause of that but ended up returning to Chrome. If you find a fix please let me know. I searched the entire web for a solution and nothing yet...

[Q] Is this battery level graph normal?

What do the gaps mean in this graph? Never saw this before Lollipop OTA update?

Click to collapse
Usually the gaps show when your phone is powered off for that period of time.
That's the thing. My phone is never powered off, it's either in use or on standby.
I am also finding that bluetooth never goes to sleep and the "keep awake" reading is the same as the number of hours the phone has been on and is the highest battery consumer.
Anyone else?
As far as I know, if you don't power off, then it is abnormal. For Bluetooth you may want to get an app such as better battery stats to try and determine if a rogue app is responsible.

Galaxy Ace 3 S7275R battery drain

Hi! This is my first post on this forum, so first of all I want to excuse myself for my English.
This is my mothers phone. She had it since 2013, she likes it and never had experienced any problems up to few week ago. It is stock Android 4.2 no root. All modules are off, no bletooth, nfc, gps or wifi, and the only social apps installed, beside the stock ones, are WhatsApp, Viber and Skype.
A performed a calibration of the battery using the only one method that I know for no rotted phones - wait until the battery drops to 5%, and after that turn off the phone, taking out the battery for half an hour, and charge it for 5 hours without power it on.
This does not help at all, the drain persist. Those are the screenshots taken this morning:
