Please help!
I encountered a few problems before I can successfully sync the contacts in whatsapp. But now another problem, the whatsapp contacts was split from the original contact already in the database, ie, the system created duplicate contacts which only contain the mobile no. used for whatsapp.

i suppose to have the same problem ! whatsapp not give me a list of all mycontact that i can use with him, only when i make a message or recive a message from a contact it appear on whatsapp contact list !

hi,
I hope this will help.
in whatsapp, touch the new message icon on top right hand corner. then touch the menu icon at the bottom of screen. touch the refresh icon.
It will sync the contacts.
as for the duplicates in contacts, i normally delete the ones for whatsapp. as whatsapp will refresh to the original contacts in phone or google account.

It's somebody who I added to my circles on G+. I had to reset my phone because of some prob, but forgot to take contact backup. When I reinstalled WhatsApp! I was still in all the previous groups, but the only contact I had was this person. So I ran to my contacts to hide all my GMail and G+ contacts but I found this person listed under WhatsApp! contact. So I removed the person from my circles (the person is not in my GMail) and now the person is no longer in the WhatsApp! contact list but they are still listed under WhatsApp! contacts in my Phonebook. I can't edit the contact at all. I really want to delete this contact help!
I'm running stock CM11S (Verson 33R) on my OPO. Unrooted.
I notice these stranges behaviors:
When receiving e-mail from any contact in my contact-list, the mail-app (stock CM11S app) only shows the picture connected to this contact for one of the stored email-adresses in the conversation-list. When I open the mail to read it, the picture is shown correctly in the email-header.
With some e-mails, the picture is shown, but instead of the contacts name the mail adress is displayed, both in conversation list and in the e-mail view.
Additionally I can not find any way to manage contacts in the contact-app, meaning I can not move a contact from phone-storage to google account or vice versa. Am I to stupid or is this a bug?

Hi . I had a contact which worked fine on whatsapp and I used to chat to it ,however due to some reason I had to delete it .Now when I have added the contact again it shows up on the whatsapp but without any profile pic and in my address book it is not showing connection with whatsapp pls help.....tried to change settings of whatsapp ..all contacts and everything...pls help

1- The contact ban u
2-The contact not have ur number in contact list, and his have in privacy profile picture set in "only contacts"
but if u not show online message in profile, this conact has banned u.
Why do I have duplicate contacts when selecting a contact in messages, to send a sms to, but in the Phone app there are no duplicates? any ideas? thanks
Contacts app is not syncing wahtsapp.
I mean:
- from whatspp I can see my contacts, so whatsapp is indeed accessing my contacts
- but from contacst app, when opening details of a contact, I can only send SMS or email or do a Duo call, no way to send a whatsapp
Ok never mind, even this time I managed by myself in 5 minutes hahahahaha :-D
I had to enable: enable 3rd party integrations...
