Keep the battery out for awhile and try again. If not, maybe invest in a jig (google it).

Confirm the model of phone you have. If it is indeed a SGH T959V, use the guide in the second link of my signature.
It is confirmed that the phone is in fact the SGH-T959V.. I'm using a Windows 7 PC, and the phone won't stay powered on long enough for the system to load the drivers for it.. Any other suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated...

Could you provide more info on how the phone got stuck, were you trying to flash a new ROM. Lumins guide is excellent( it has gotten me out of multiple self induced boot loops) but after installing one click, windows will not show you, on the pull down, a samsung composite device. you will have to look through the different drives that are shown to determine which drive your phone is on.
If you can get into the recovery mode, have you simply tried reflasing

If when you say shut down you mean bootloop, you need to read the guide as it says to put the phone in download mode. If your battery is dead, I'm sure you can figure out what you need to do to charge your battery on your own.

First make sure the battery is charged as Lumin suggested. If the battery is charged then my bet would be that you have a stuck power button. Try this. Pull the battery and put it back in. If the phone powers on by itself then your power button is stuck.

Put in a brand new battery.. Phone is powering on by itself, but the power button doesn't feel like it's stuck.. Not saying it isn't stuck IJS.. It goes into recovery mode for a split second and resets.. Drivers won't load because the phone won't stay on long enough.. UGH!!
Definitely stuck

I did, and seems to be working fine.. EXCEPT when I try to charge it or plug it into the pc.. It goes back into the boot loop.. Thinking the charger port may be the culprit here..

does it boot up completely so that, you can use it?
or does it simply show the boot logo.
if its the latter, it is a normal thing from flashing kernels and roms.
so it mins its the kernel problem? and by the way when i turned off my phone and pressing power button it doesn't turn on rather when removing the battery and place it again it automatically boo up..just like plugging the charger..is there any chance than i can repair it by myself for not booting automatically so that i can enter recovery and downlaod mode?
my phone also completely boots when usb is plugged in without hitting power button and its a stock 2.2.2 rom. maybe theres some way to hack it to stop it if it bothers that much? i guess it would charge faster if it stayed off tho

Hmm, thats werid, its definietly a kernel problem, but I don't have your phone, ask in your kernel thread instead and see if you can change to another kernel. But it has nothing to do with the hardware and shouldn't be needed to bring your phone back to the service center.

for other solutions look in My Android Solutions

Hi, so i was trying to install the stock rom on my s7 that was running android 9 (and the power button is not working by the way, it was just pressed).
by doing this it removed the twrp recovery that i needed for going in download because if i have the button pressed and i go in download mode it cant click volume up to continue.
when it rebooted from the flashing it started to load the samsung logo for aroud 10 minutes, then it started saying that it was optimizing 39 apps but when it got on 39, the phone didnt reboot but reloaded the boot animation and with the led blue, it still done the same thing. so i just get the phone and reboot to recovery but something strange was happening, the blue led was still there.
after litteraly wait like all day to wait for this phone to turn off i turned it back on and the phone rebooted on recovery and it didnt want to boot to android. now i'm stuck with my phone that can go on dowload mode and recovery only and from the recovery it says on my pc that the phone/device its not reconized and i cant go anyway in download mode, only the triangle and adb does not work.
Anyone that can help me? i just need to go on download mode

Hello, please help. I have a big problem.
I just flashed custom ROM and the installation was successful. When I restarted the phone, it stopped at the "Samsung Galaxy" logo and did not complete and then restarted automatically in this case. I tried to enter twrp, but to no avail. I also tried Entering the download mode, but also it does not work
I hope that someone will help me, and is this how the phone was damaged, or is there hope to recover it?
Try holding power and volume down for over 20 seconds, after the phone reboot keep holding those keys and hope you get into download mode

Unfortunately not, I even tried to enter it into download mode by pressing the volume up and down buttons and then connecting the USB, and it did not work, so I think it may need a board

Honestly, no, I haven't tried jaw before But I waited until the battery ran out and tried again to insert the download, but it didn't work either,,, I have a question I first formatted and then installed the ROM, then it succeeded, but after the word “installation was successful” there were words in red “failed mount system root” Then I flashed the rest of the ROM files, then I thought it was over, so I restarted, but it stopped at the "samsung galay - secured by Knox" logo. It does not continue and then restarts itself in this case and does not stop until the battery runs out and stops then I tried to enter the recovery but to no avail and also the same thing with the download mode,, summarizing all this does the phone need a motherboard, or that the matter can be solved?

It can be solved. It doesn't need a motherboard.
Try Chimera tool. It can fix dead boot. You may need to short test point of your phone so that the software recognises your phone.
