today, after i up rom [ROM]CyanoTouchwiz Rocket from Mr.Sean as he show, but after that, my fone can not receive the internal storage, (the phone show error "sd card not unmounted") i try re-up sometimes but nothing change, anyone help me........

i think you misunderstood... im not ready to root and i was wondering if it was something i was not understanding... my other device didnt have an "internal SD" and an "External SD" so im not use to a device that does..
although i must say thank you. you link will be an AWESOME resource when i do begin.

Well what you waiting for? It is super easy(USE NVFLASH!!) and will help you sleep better at night. Just do baby steps. Root... see how you like it, then after a while try out a custom rom...

I was thought about waiting till the update came down as well. Then I figured "hell, there are issues with the stock roms, why not try and find something more stable." The irony of it all was that my stock was pretty solid... I was just looking for the push off the wagon(recovering crack flasher from the g1). You won't be disappointed.
USE NVFLASH!!!!! I can't stress that enough. Everyday there is a new crop of "help bootloop" threads. Totally avoidable.

APP2SD is free on the market. It wont move everything to the external sd but it will move a lot and more is added all the time.

it happened with me when experienced that my internal was too low. Try to make some space on internal sd.

i am going out of memory after upgrading my gt-i9003 to 2.3.6
hi i have a problem with my phone after flashing it to 2.3.6 and whenever i want to download on google play, the phone wil show me out of memory and the second internal memory is not in use itx only the usb storage that is in use. How can i use the internal storage cos itx upto 2gb and before flashing my phone i never notice such prblm.

I also like that I recommend an unofficial ROM
without bugs and stable for my phone, if possible

Not sure what you are asking sir, I have installed these, which means I have either tested or ran the ROMs in the Dev. as far as sd card issues, there is none, now for CM9, the mount is different than Gingerbread...EMMC which means: Embedded Multi Media Card, vice the GB "ext SD" label.

the laptop does see the phone units, the problem is that it shows the wrong way .. shows the phone's internal storage like a removable card (SD)

Check this things first,
connect the SD card with computer & check Whether your SD card can read/write the data from PC or not...!!!??
Eject it and again Re-check it...
It seems that your SD card is dead..and might be u have lost the read/write permission... :finger-crossed:

Try to backup the data in Computer and format the memory card as well as the Phone itself to the Factory Reset...

Hi all,
So last nite I had a party and I was playing music thru my phone
But then someone else played music om his phone thru aux.
So i grabbed my phone and i saw that it said sd card can be safely removed.
Wtf ? I went to settings and tried to mount it.but it keeps goving that messagw
At home I tried my sd card in my laptop and it saif that I had to reformat it!!!
Help I don't want to do that since there are so many important picturess on it and more.
What to do now???

Nope, if the PC won't read it either its toast
I cant even format it
it is a RAW filesystem.. I tried many format tools but they all don't work ((

Yeah I learned my lesson..
Just look at the bright side, good thing we have an sd card slot available or else it would be the internal storage that gets damage.
Take xeloni's advice, use dropbox. It has an option to upload pics automatically. I do it set to upload only on wifi
