[Q] Browser Problem - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

Hey, no matter what I do, my browser (any browser app I use) redirects me to this search assistant page (see picture) and I can't figure out why that is. Any suggestions? I'm on skyICS (most recent).

Disable auto adding http:// to url in browser?

Any way to disable adding the http to the url/search box in the browser? It's pretty annoying having to delete it each time I want to do a Google search. The Nexus One doesn't automatically add it and I like that a lot better. Thanks.

Hit the physical search button at the bottom takes you to a search only box. That is how I got around it at the store hope that helps

Issue with downloading apps

Hey guys
Quick question
I'm having an issue downloading certain apps from tthe market
Currently I'm on the latest gummycharged build for GB. When I go into market and try and download certain apps (Ex. Yelp and Xeam Launcher) it doesn't give me a download link. I can view the app in the market but can't download. I tried the Market Fix and I can download the MLB appear but I'm having issues with other.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanka

Have you tried clearing your market data? Settings->applications->manage->hit the All tab->scroll to Market->Clear Data

Just tried that and it didn't work.
I'm going to also upload a pic of what the market looks like when I'm trying to download certain apps

sorry, I should have been a little clearer, the preloaded matks. CNN, Samsung registration etc...

Scroll to the bottom of the browsers home page touch > Customize Web 2 Go (you'll get a popup) touch > remove icon. And that will remove bookmarks.. that's how I just did it on Froyo..
Most of us don't use the stock browser. You are limited to what stock will download. I use Dolphin HD and had to go check it out for you.
If you only have the stock browser installed I suggest you download one from the Market. They are Superior over stock.
I hope this helped you.
**EDIT**
Didn't see your edit. Lol.

Any build.prop edits to bring back youtube?

For some reason, even after I clear app defaults, you tube does not show up as a selectable option when I click on a youtube link within facebook. My research revealed there was a line in build.prop that started with ro.da1 or something you can edit in the past, but I cannot find anything similar in my build.prop. Any ideas?

have your cleared app defaults for youtube or for the app you're geting the link with?
I'm on Maximus, it does ask browser/YouTube app.
stupid thing is it opens browser up (probably tri speed up the time to watch video) before asking browser/YouTube app.
So after watching the video on the YouTube app I still have to close the browser that it opened.
