Hi guys,
Not sure have anyone asked before but with a proper usb to micro usb cable, can my handset reads the the contents from thumb drive or I need to change the ROM or kernel or other things? Please advise and thanks in advance.

I think the reason behind it was HTC used the micro usb pins for computer sync, charging and hdmi output instead.....

The OG sensation does not have 1gb of ram. It has the same 768 mb as the XE

If you are a laptop "engineer" you should have known that its impossible , not because OG has same amount of memory but because RAM is not attached to the motherboard socket in a traditional way, it is soldered by robots in the factory

Most parts, except for wire connectors to screen, are surface mount, including ram, rom, and the emmc. You'll destroy the device before you can melt rhv solder enough to remove the part.

i've read that virtuous inquisition works with MHL adapters
Just plug it in to your phone and TV, plug the power source into the adaptor and your TV should mimic the screen. There is nothing to do to activate it, all ROMs should work but VI definitely does.
Hmm I'll have to try a different television then I guess mine isn't compatible

Hi,
You have been very vague on your explanation and in that way it is difficult to give you a useful answer.
We would need to know what type of equipment you are planning to use.
There are a few ways to do but will depend on the equipment you use.
Understand you want to connect your device via usb.
In that case the only option is using it as a disc drive and your device will have to read the music from it.
Depending on the equipment, you can use a 3.5 cable, Bluetooth A2DP (which is the best option) or DLNA (if your device has Wi-Fi)

You have to mount your sd card through usb cable and play it via your radio or you can use 3.5 to 3.5 via aux input and play via your phone. I prefere the usb mount option as I can then control my music via my radio.

Hi,I bought a 2nd hand sensation xe which is running the latest official ics a few days ago but i found out my phone cannot charge.When i plug in the micro usb cable,the led on my phone turns on (orange)but the battery level keeps dropping.The phone also keep draining the battery even its fully turned off(unchecked fastboot).Did anyone experienced this situation?Please kindly help me to solve this problem,Thank you.

I had that problem with cheap usb cables from eBay... I bought a genuine charger and cable, and it works fine

Sorry - load Electronics damaged can you make a measurement without battery and pluged in the Power cord it must be 4.2-4.7 volts between the outer pins to load your batt otherwise the repair is to expensive
